Kris I've been sending you pm's and messaging you on irc - are you still selling this code or have you decided not to?
great idea, did you build the frontend yourself, or is this based on some existing code, and then you added the lotto?
does anyone have a rough estimate of cost right now? I though the cost to produce makes it a lot more expensive than GPU mining...
I'm glad we heard back from you - I thought you tried this and roasted yourself.
don't forget to put your offer up on forbitcoin.com to increase the chance of getting sales =)

What is the point of namecoins? Is there really a demand for .bit domain names, or is this just the 'bronze' version of bitcoin?

I'm looking for a mining client which meets the following criteria: - Open source
- Allows easy integration of new mining methods (FPGA in my case)
- Runs on Linux, and ideally on Windows as well
- Written in a sane programming language, preferably Python
- Supports long polling
- Supports falling back to another pool in case of outages, without first waiting for the pool to repond for several minutes
- Pushpool support would be a plus
Which software would you suggest? If this can't be achieved with a single piece of software, I'd consider a stack of a "dumb" mining software and a clever proxy for it as well. you are using FGPA?

Hi, I'm currently working on a new pool. The basic things are done, but there's still some work to do. But anyways, since I don't want to develop stuff in the wrong direction (because I'm looking at the pool through my red sunglasses of developer love...) I've decided to make a little announcment and hopefully gather some feedback what's missing, what could be improved or even what you like... So, if you have some spare time: have a look at http://x8s.de , maybe sign up, maybe do some mining... and then, please tell me what you think Thanks did you buy a script, is this with opensource software, or did you code it yourself?

I've got ~5Ghash going in my basement right now, and my inlaws are noticing scratchy throats, and light headed-ness. When I'm in the laundry room for a few hours tinkering with the rigs, I feel a sore throat coming on.
What's going on!?
Can these mining rigs actually make us sick somehow? I need some input from others doing 4-5 Ghash or more from their basements, can these affect air quality?
It seems it's pumping out lots of dry heat, which could be making the humidity levels low...any thoughts?

We have added a new category by popular demandDo you want bitcoins? Now you can exchange pizza for bitcoins, just create a job saying that you will buy someone a pizza for 0.5 (or however much you want) bitcoins. Then go on the irc channel and pimp your gig to hungry developers, miners and traders. disregard pizza, acquire bitcoins. * by popular demand we mean 1 really hungry homeless guy.http://forbitcoin.com/categories/Bitcoin-Pizza

is a .pro domain name worth anything?
I thought .com, .net and .org were the big 3
