141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What did you suggest about the market? on: September 17, 2018, 06:49:29 PM
Hy all
I want to ask for you opinion about the Market, but could this month be the best month for market come up fully?
Secondly I want to invest but still afraid of the Market. Please suggest me best way to do now.
Hello! No one will advise you anything except yourself. The market is in the bears phase, and it looks like it will continue until 2020. Trade in such a market is dangerous. Refrain from investing for one year, then it will be clear what the puppeteers on the market have conceived.
I really wonder what he was actually expecting to hear. Something like; oh yes! The market is going to end up changing trend at a particular date and it is going to the moon while setting new ATHs from there. Probably, he should realize that no one is a soothsayer and even those that call themselves soothsayers cannot predict the market, otherwise a lot of people by now would have ended up learning how to become one.

We have the trend at our disposal and that is what most investors and traders make use of to know when they should be entering a position in the market. If you do not have the knowledge, the best is to just buy the dips and be patient as a long term investor.
142  Economy / Economics / Re: China Can’t Afford a Cashless Society (Perhaps No One Can) on: September 17, 2018, 04:26:51 PM
Paper money shortage? The article was telling a story on how a growing % of people dont want paper money anymore because they would like to use electronic payments more. This is making a sector in China's society worry because the older generation and the low income sector do not have access to online and electronic payments. Its making them hard to transact with the use if cash. Theres no paper money shortage.
Unfortunately, the older generation does not understand they are living a borrowed time. That is even by the way. Normally, we do not always expect a change to just occur rapidly without having some setbacks most especially from the government. If they feel that the big merchants are the cause of the shortage of paper money, then so be it.

The world is advancing in technology by the day, what is the advantage of the paper money anyway, at least, money is money as long as you can use it to pay for a value in whichever form it is, and I wonder why the Chinese government will want to be creating a huge fuss about it.
143  Economy / Speculation / Re: How is future looking for Bitcoin in 2019? on: September 16, 2018, 04:24:42 PM
I will waiting for bitcoin halving and then i see about the price. Because when we saw the history it can reach ath again this is my opinion. But now i will buy some bitcoin again to collect when the market still drop so i can sell when it maybe bounce back.

Halving is something that will change price as always, maybe this time can be something else. This block reward reduction can adjust price to higher number or not. However next year can be anything in type of not just bitcoin but all crypto, generally we could only speculate in price and all other thing but in real we can only hope for better. In hope of any change for price my guess could be double the current price is maybe for end or first quarter of next year.
The thing is ,we could only predict and hope for the better !
That is the basic idea as long as there is no human in this world that can simply get to understand what the future holds and as much as we can anticipate for a great future, it does not mean there still would not be some resistance and obstacles along the way which could lead to either more strength or weakness. Bitcoin market is for sure one that we all really wish it would grow bigger than it is currently, but as it is, we still have to remain realistic that it is all in the hands of time.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano will replace ETH! on: September 14, 2018, 03:39:11 PM
In what respect, Carnada can replace Etherium? Etherium soon no one will replace. Almost all new tokens are released on its platform, and I do not see any serious competitors.
It is not carnada, it is Cardano and it is not Ethireum, it is Ethereum. Firstly, no one can know what can end up replacing anything. This is not some magic field or some soothsaying arena where the future of anything can be predicted. This is a market and no one knows what the future may have in store for any coin. Ethereum is a very good one that has brought about some advantage and even some disadvantages in the area of shit tokens and scam ICOs, but that does not change the fact that it has been relevant. How Cardano is going to end up doing in months’ time can only be known with time.
145  Economy / Speculation / Re: We're all Schrödinger's cats in the short term on: September 13, 2018, 05:03:19 PM
It's really hard to predict on what possible happen to bitcoin or the entire cryptocurrencies, as long as there are so many investors who still believed in bitcoin I can assure that it still exists on the market. But those doubtful people I'm sure right now they ignore bitcoin to invest instead. But one thing that for sure they had this big question on everyone’s lips, "what will these coins be worth in the future?". We all don't know what's in the future so, let's enjoy as what had bitcoin now.
It is hard to predict any market at all and when it comes to the market, the only thing we can do is to look at what the charts are saying and then act accordingly. Those who feel they can predict the future of the market are certainly jokers, because no one can. Apparently, they just seem to state what they feel the market should behave like in the short term and then hope it gets to be that. Unless they just get lucky, that would end up a rubbish prediction at the end of the day.
146  Economy / Economics / Re: What should we focus on more? Demand or Supply? on: September 11, 2018, 08:04:28 PM
This is the error of the HODLer's mindset, no I don't blame the HODL principle, I agree with this thread that we should not be afraid to use Bitcoin because it can increase demand and in my opinion HODL doesn't have to be forever, you should have a target when you have to HODL then buyback to reach the next target
It is the usage that even counts the more. This is what brings in more demand and the reason why people will over time experience and see the value it brings. The HODL aspect is what has created more speculation in the market and has driven the market to more of a speculative asset that for it to be used more in real life as a currency. Both supply and demand are equally important and this is what brings about a balance to some extent to a market. However, we cannot blame anyone, it is what it is, and I believe that over time things should change.
147  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Rises Into Philippines Towards Legalization of Crypto Exchange on: September 09, 2018, 06:37:26 PM
This is just the starting point. There will be so many more countries that will make laws for bitcoin and manage to get taxes from the people who make money from bitcoin but they are forgetting that no matter how many laws they put into bitcoin the purpose of bitcoin is to get rid of the centralized ways of regular fiat so we will pay our taxes.

But we will not let them keep our coins under control and decide on who trades what, we will keep doing what we do just add on "informing them" into the algorithm while we keep doing what we do. I am telling you guys we will see many many more countries legalize crypto as well.
148  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your greatest trading regret? on: September 09, 2018, 05:48:48 PM
I invested into some coins this January and my hope was cryptcoins are going to increase in price this year but the reverse is the case.
I can still remember some coins that I bought around $24 and $25 dollars in January and I am still holding them. Currently those coins are less than 2 dollars respectly. I doubt if I will be able to be patient until price get back to were I bought them and I do seriously regret bought those coins at the wrong time.
My greatest regret so far has been the purchase of bitgrail/nano.
I have purchased some on a shady and scammy website that took my money and at the middle of everything asked me to show ID and all that and kept my money there for the longest time and I have lost a lot of money there, when I took my money out I lost about 20% of the money I invested and used that money to buy nano again and than we know how much nano has dropped so I am in negative for a while in nano and I do not see how it can go up enough to make me any profit, it needs to reach around 18 dollar levels so I can actually take out a profit. That was the biggest regret I had in 6 years of crypto.
149  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are whales hunting for stop triggers right now on: September 09, 2018, 04:44:15 PM
I read that someone sold 10K bitcoins yesterday which made the dump in the crypto market but don't know which is the real one but the market has fallen now so we need to wait for the prices to bump since it is just the whales action so if they found make any reaction then they will bump it again.
If someone is selling as much as that and the market took a huge dump, then I do not see the reason why we should be complaining or whining about it. It is a normal thing for anyone to sell in a market, and for what it is, this is an unregulated market and a very new one and immature one for that market which is growing and developing by the day. This shows that the level of demand is still lower than the level of supply and we just have to deal with it and stop blaming any whale for what the market is like.

It looks like the whales pumped up the market earlier last week then dumped with a fake news
It is normal to always see things like this once in a while and that is what makes a market what it is anyway. Sure, we cannot deny the fact that the market may be manipulated, but as it is, it is part of the game and you just simply have to know the way you are always going to play it right, so you do not end up screwing things up for yourself. I feel sometimes we just try to look for an excuse for why the market acts the way it is, but the truth is that, no one knows.
150  Economy / Economics / Re: Which form of investment has highest ROI? on: September 09, 2018, 06:33:48 AM
In addition to the stock market, and crypto, a third investment strategy to consider this year is real estate. The thing is, I’m not suggesting everyone run out and buy an investment property. After all, not everyone is cut out to be a landlord.
Real estate has always been a very pure and lucrative investment and sure for those who really have the bucks to invest anyway. However, this does not mean it does not have its own limitations, disadvantages and so many other things that could make things go awry, and considering the fact that you will be subjecting your investment into more of a long term, which ties down your capital, you will need to be patient for as long as you can. Crypto in the short term however, can promise a higher return for investors than real estate and do not forget that I said in the short term.

You can earn the fastest on the stock exchange.  You can raise money for a week, but you can also lose it quickly.
The only difference between stock exchange and crypto exchange is that the former is a matured and regulated market and the latter is still very new and decentralized. They have so many things in common still and for what it is worth, I still believe that crypto in a short term has brought about a higher gain for most traders than stocks. Sure, stocks too can be a very good one, but you hardly see a huge volatility in stocks compared to crypto unless you are maybe trading penny stocks.
151  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can decrease economic development on: September 08, 2018, 08:01:28 PM
Do you mean the economic development of each country? I think it will help the 3rd countries but most 1st countries will be totally against it just look at China and USA has some kind of restrictions against crypto and Bitcoin itself; and sadly for 2018 the price of Bitcoin has gone down so far that I think we will not see any big bull run even when the year ends. It's saddening how these powers can make something move so slow and if Bitcoin is slowed down, the same goes for everything in crypto.
The question the OP is not even asking himself is that, are the bitcoins he is claiming if everyone is pursuing to enrich themselves will create decrease in economic development going to be gotten for free. Certainly not!

Whoever is purchasing bitcoin will definitely not be relying on it to enrich themselves and there would always be need for transfer of currencies between hands for the value of what you are purchasing. Hence, one way or the other, you will still have to work for what you are getting and as long as working is still inevitable, decrease in economic development is not something we need to be worrying about.

153  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How good of a business is the "Crypto Casino" business? on: September 08, 2018, 06:21:54 PM
It is clear that bitcoin casinos are very successful and very profitable, if that was not the case then we will not see so many casinos in the forum, but as you can see this is not precisely the best time to create a casino, many people are suffering huge losses thanks to crash in the market and I'm sure they are not willing to gamble their money away right now.
Apart from people not even willing to gamble away their money, I want to believe that the competition is also increasing hugely in the crypto casino business. We keep seeing crypto casino platforms popping up daily and you will probably be having something a whole lot more to offer than them, otherwise, it would be hard to get any user. Retaining users is one hard thing but you do not want to find out about attracting users which is the hardest.

You should be convinced that any form of gambling is very profitable, and since the cryptocurrency market is not subject to the law, there are many casinos here!
At this stage, I even believe that from research, the OP should have known better that crypto casino business is a booming one and it is still booming. Nevertheless, the fact that it is a booming one does not mean anyone can just come into the space, buy a script, just put up anything and expect that people will just keep popping in.

You have to create something a lot unique, which is worth being tested and fanciful. I have seen some new platforms before that looks like a virus on its own, and you would not even want to take another more look than closing the page and never coming back. So it is best to create a very good first impression.
154  Economy / Speculation / Re: What the future holds for Bitcoins? on: September 08, 2018, 11:49:22 AM
The adaption will get bigger with time, of course during times like this last December there was a lot more people involved but after it drop we still have more people invested and interested in bitcoin than what it was before it like last summer.

Hence, we still have more people than what we started out, we need a lot more people and a lot easier options to use bitcoin for payments to get it bigger but its on the right path if you ask me. So for the future I believe bitcoin will still be an investment option for many people but it will also start being a payment option as well with the surge of mobile payments and we will see it going bigger and bigger with that.
155  Economy / Speculation / Re: BOTTOM? list? the real bottomcaller on: September 07, 2018, 06:28:59 PM
^
Lets say i think we are all longterm hodlers and BTC believers So price doesn’t matter to much Where iT stands today , but we can all appriciate Some steady upward growing ......
Steady growth and reasonable fees without any insane market activities to drive the price to the moon, with FOMOs kicking in and the transaction fees skyrocketing is actually something very much appealing. I really do not care about the bottom or how low it is going to go, if there is need to buy at a much lower price, I will buy if I have the funds.

At least for the fact that for those who understand the benefit they stand to gain in the long run asides the price hitting peak overnight, they will end up being the ones to get those benefits and even get more. At the moment and like LoyceV stated though, I am expecting something within the range of $5150.
156  Economy / Economics / Re: U.S tells China and India to stop buying oil from Iran on: September 06, 2018, 04:50:18 PM
this is an economic attack from America where they want to bring down the country's economy, it turns out that after the news comes the currency immediately falls drastically, and this of course also affects the price of bitcoin because many investors from Iran sell bitcoin they have and finally this makes Bitcoin prices experience a deeper correction because it is added to the panic of other bitcoin owners
Not very sure how this fits in with bitcoin since this would majorly lead to recession within the country itself and in that case, fiat is never even the best option to be getting into. The world though is getting crazy every single day as we keep seeing different forms of attack from one country to the other and this would probably be leading to a very crazy war eventually.

From what someone said, if Iran is planning to lift cryptocurrency ban and also trying to test national cryptocurrency, I guess they will be trying as much as possible to go the Venezuelan way which would not really work out good eventually anyway.
157  Economy / Speculation / Re: $ 5,800 is the lowest threshold for Bitcoin in 2018! on: September 05, 2018, 06:50:46 AM
I hope the bitcoin price doesn't drop again, and the price of $ 5800 becomes the cheapest price this year, it's time for the market to recover so that all users get profits like last year.
Well, I guess all we can do now is hope and in a way just follow the trend to see where it leads. One thing I can say is that we cannot say never until we are certainly sure. We are still not far from $5800 and presently, a quick drop in the market can still send up a lot back down eventually anyway and breaking $5800 could cause a quick drop in the market price. However, all these would be known with time as we cannot say exactly how the market will turn out since we do not know the future, so all we can do is monitor the trend and stay careful.

159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Walk of Shame on: July 12, 2018, 12:12:42 PM
This is probably one of the worst story of a gambler i've ever read. You've been completely controlled by your addiction resulting in that. You should have atleast keep a money for fare and then you can go all out. You should have played online instead to prevent that situation again. Even if you lose all, atleast you're already inside your house.
Well, is that not how most gamblers who never had the right mindset when it comes to gambling always end up? It is either you get in control or you get addicted and most times, a lot of people who gamble for the wrong reasons always find it hard to control their emotions, impulses, and tend to getting seriously addicted in the long run. A lot of people push harder while trying to see if they can recover their losses, but forgetting it is just a game of luck and you may actually not get lucky at all which could get to a point of not having anything again.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethreum Price By end Of Year on: July 12, 2018, 08:23:49 AM
What will be price prediction for ethereum in 2018 end ,
whats gonna high and whats Gonna low
I wonder what some of you want to gain from what the price of Ethereum would be at the end of the year. No one sure have an answer to that and as far as I am concerned, what happens with the price or value of Ethereum in the long term or short term is best known with time.

By considering the previous all time highest prices, we still have to be able to hit past the $1k region before we can even start considering a new peak formation, but for now, we are just waiting and watching as lower than current levels also possible for any altcoin due to the fact of depending on performances of bitcoin.
