Wallet synced and no huge cpu draw.  Seems to be working well.

Anyone want to send me 16,120 lux so I can test it out and make sure the masternode works? Wink

Guys i try to start mine only INN but a lot of coins come through how can i make the bat file only for INN ??

you can't. it's a multipool. You only choose your payout coin. everything you mine goes to that
And how can i do that?

change your PW to C=INN or whatever the exchange listing is for the coin you want to get paid in.
There's a danger to this though.  I've had a few coins get dropped while I had balances and I didn't get paid for them.  C=BTC is the only one that they guarantee.

And since you wind up paying an exchange fee anyhow (mined coins -> BTC -> Payment coin) I personally recommend just taking BTC and exchanging it yourself.  This way you can control the timing better (worse case its a wash as your paying the exchange fee either way)

I agree to a point.  If you don't have a rig(s) where you get paid often it makes sense to get paid in an alt.  INN is one of the only coins not in the red today so it makes sense to try and mine/get paid in something that isn't going to be worth less at the end of the day too.  I switch around a bit between alts and btc for payment but I usually don't point everything at an alt so if it gets yanked I don't have to try and force choke Crack through a computer screen.

Do you need to add the nodes to the config file in the new wallet or was that for the old?
No need
Right after I sent that it started syncing.

I will likely give Zergpool a second chance because the operator - who goes by pinpins here - seems like a decent enough guy, just in a bit over his head, and not charging a pool usage fee makes it difficult to cover the costs when your pool continues to mine a coin well after it hard forks.

Even the pools with high fees wont cover the costs of mining the wrong side of a fork.

Yeah, I didn't write what I meant to write when I wrote that...  Tongue

What I meant was that some of the bigger pools - hashrefinery comes to mind - have some way of detecting a hard fork (maybe seeing two or more orphaned blocks in a row?) and then shut down that coin/port/whatever. Minimizing the damage, then, if not compensating anyone for shares lost to the hard fork itself.

I'd agree with that a bit.  I think they're set up to where if they get more than 50% of the blocks for a period of time it shuts it down.  The bad part about mining the wrong side of a fork is they don't orphan you keep getting the blocks and it drives up the pool profitability and everyone switches over to mine that algo and no one is actually making money.

The worst part is it's never when you're actually sitting there watching or have access to your rigs so you can switch them over to something else (at least for me) it always seems to happen to me when I'm out with no means to do anything about it.

"popcorn.gif"

I'll give the management team a bit of credit for helping me make a decent return on my mining, It could have been quite a bit bigger if cryptopia didn't suspend ltc trading when they did, but anyone could see that photon was never going to be a big coin.  The sheer volume of coins pretty much made sure of that.
The whole Blake ecosystem of merge mined coins is pretty interesting to me and some of the in-game transaction concept is pretty interesting as well.  If it's incorporated into the game itself and can be used as a wager between teams it's pretty awesome.  That doesn't change that the coin could never really be valued at more than 1 or 2 sats in the long run because with block rewards as large as they are there is a never ending supply being constantly dumped on exchanges.
You see it all the time with coins that have a low value and a huge supply where people are coming in and buying a few, trying to create a hype around it to drive up the price and then offloading what they bought.  I guess it can be good because it gives the coin some attention for a period of time, but at the same time it could be bad because after it crashes you end up with a lot of pissed off people either dumping at a loss or forgetting that they have a bunch of coins and they're left with a bad taste in their mouth.

Zergpool is looking pretty good already. I love how it's stratum difficulty isn't set high like ahashpool, getting shares in quickly is very important when switching. Can't beat 0% fees either !

zergpool.com?
It has a decent setup but it doesn't look like it's profitable at all right now.  There's no one on it.  It's half a step above solo mining.

is mining with a Zotac GTX 1050 Mini 2GB profitable?

Gonna pair it with 1 GTX 1060 6GB. Smiley
You'll make more than electricity costs but you won't be buying a lambo any time soon.  Wink
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NEMOSMINER multi algo profit switching NVIDIA miner for ZPOOL on: February 04, 2018, 05:16:45 AM
NEMOSMINER is made up of multiple versions of open source ccminer's including tpruvot, sp-hash-optimized kernels, KlausT and alexs78

this is version 1.01 and has 10 different algorithms enabled (blakecoin,lbry,lyra2v2,neoscrypt,nist5,skein,x11evo,x17,blake2s,decred)

auto switches to the most profitable algo/coin

very easy setup:

step 1. edit the nemosminer.bat (change my bitcoinaddress to yours and save)

step 2. run nemosminer.bat

this version is setup for the nvidia 1050ti and 1070 but can be easily adjusted to suit other cards just change the speed settings after the -p command. (speed is in mhs except for blake algo's which are ghs)

hope this helps some people, i will keep it up to date with new profitable algos and the latest ccminer releases

nemosminer ZPOOL nvidia miner v1.01 download link:  https://mega.nz/#F!JhECyIbB!25tuMUonSQQ7kv859UIKjg

this is free project feel free to donate be much appreciated: 1PhEyM6JfKytQTkYmJ89Cwsb98shTHuA1k

Multiple red flags with this. Newbie account, binary only and asking for donations for other people's work.
Binaries may even be infected, beware. Even if legit the only thing he adds is his bat, everything else can
be obtained directly from the devs.

so whats going on is this a virus? If its not, this thing will mine what ever is the the most money, and then covert the earnings into bitcoin and send them to my bitcoin address?
Its not a virus.  It uses pool data to figure the most profitable algo and mines that algo.  The pools convert the coins to btc.

Zpool is having a hard time with Linda on their pool.  Can one of the devs reach out to zpool and try and resolve the issues with him?
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NEMOSMINER multi algo profit switching NVIDIA miner on: February 04, 2018, 03:34:33 AM
All kinds of problems with 2.4.1 now... lets start with: running a fresh download and now it benchs algos for 1 hours each (regardless of the interval i input)?

Yup, I just checked mine and it's been in benchmark mode all day..

I run into problems from time to time and it pays to pay attention during the bench and boot the miner that's giving trouble.  With 2.4.1 for me it was poly.  My computer didn't like that one at all so I booted it off the list.  If it were a profitable algo I'd bother trouble shooting it, but since it was poly I didn't take the time.

I would really like to mine for some LINDA coin so I added the currency in the c= option. But zpool is showing me that there is a shortage with this coin. This has been the case for about 2 weeks now. Will there be some LINDA coins to mine in the future?

I'll try it one more time but the wallet constantly reject blocks with some error about the time is too far in the past or something. It was a huge drain on profitability and will probably be dropped.

Did you take Linda offline again?

Le4Dmz9MNwYHUx8bV44yMuQVddWE8KBADR

Everything was running fine until this morning and now its all wonky.

yup, LINDA is done. way too many rejects.

Bummer.  I guess I'm mining for you this weekend on that card.

Is there any plans to change the algo now that there is an ASIC coming out to blow these coins out?
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] PHO Photon blake256- MERGE MINE 6 COINS- NO PREMINE - POW ONLY 4+ YRS on: February 02, 2018, 10:42:07 PM
I don't quite understand, how mining to a pool will give me 6 different coins. Do I need to install the 6 different wallets in order to receive mined coins or can blakecoin wallet hold photon? Additionally, will I be missing out on lithium, for example, if I were to start mining without a lithium wallet set up?

I plan to merge mine, can't wait to see what coins are added next.

Also why are people accusing bluedragon as a greedy bastard when clearly there have been 4 years of development of the coin, just look at the graph it tells the whole story...

edit:

the website seems to be down, I still need to create an account and set up a miner, last thing I got was 'investigating issues in the backend'

I did it a while back.  It didn't take too long to set up the electron, lithium, blakebitcoin, blakecoin, photon and UMO wallets.  When you mine on their pool you actually get paid in all the coins at the same time.  As of right now I think all the coins except blakebitcoin and electron can be exchanged on cryptopia for btc.  It's pretty cool how they set it all up.

hardblockminer...please enlighten us. On basis of what are you able to predict prices?
Are you the first genius who can predict prices of crypto currencies? Grin

Why 6k and not $60 or even 0.06$......your data and analysis show anything regarding this  predictions? Grin Grin Grin

I guess not, so chill out and..............

$6k is where it was right before it went parabolic and if you look at the downward trends BTC is in right now it's aiming lower than $6k.  Like I said I hope I'm wrong but I think we'll see $6k BTC before it gets better.

Testing will end at 3:30pm today (about 5 hours from now) for 1 week of total run time. I will then need to let MPH settle all of the coin exchanges to get the final tally and I'm not sure how long that will take; probably a few hours at least.

Testing did stop about 3 hours ago and the total balance at NiceHash is 0.00207672 BTC, with 0.00126187 BTC sitting on their wallet, ready to send to me, and another 0.00081485 BTC tied up on my miner - I really don't get how that even happens but, whatever... I just have to run NH a little longer to get that balance up to 0.001 so it transfers to my

Meanwhile, MiningPoolHub is sitting at 0.00180649 BTC but there are still balances in several coins that are in the process of getting converted to BTC and who knows how long that will take to complete. Given that it has already been 3 hours I doubt they are going to get processed and confirmed anytime soon so maybe tomorrow morning I'll have the final tally for MPH. That said, it doesn't look like the balance will increase all that much so as of now MPH got trounced by NH.

Thanks for doing this.  Always good to see what the different options are.

My R9270X clockin' at 0.34mh/s just found a block all by herself on the BSOD pool! Lucky day for her!

That's pretty freakin awesome.  I've wanted to try that with a few coins and just set a crappy rig to chug away by itself all day.
