141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SuperNET - ICO conducted by BTER + ... on: September 25, 2014, 12:21:04 PM
[Funding Request]

whale has negotiated a funding deal during the last weeks and it is ready to be funded. It is for an existing NXT company that wishes to be kept confidential until the funding is approved. PM me if you need to know the identity of the company.

###
Investment in 3 installments into an already established NXT company, that will be making an online wallet for SuperNET users, in addition to its existing websites.

1) 17.2% for 2.5M NXT immediately;
2) OPTIONAL 12.9% for 1.875M NXT by 31/Jan/2015;
3) OPTIONAL 12.9% for 1.875M NXT by 31/Mar/2015
###

The asset will not be traded before jan 1st 2015 unless all options are exercised. Due to the strategic value of an online wallet service (think blockchain.info) it is both whale's and my opinion that this investment has good ROI potential for SuperNET and we expect to be able to recoup the investment via AE sales within a year and still have significant HODLings remaining.

Since we do not have the NXT Phasing yet and there is no escrow for NXT possible, I will safekeep the SuperNET NXT until a viable alternative is agreed upon. When this funding request is approved, I will send out the funds

James
This funding request has now be authorized by the committee.

I recently hired matu to create a custom app for me and from the very start matu has been very responsive in his communication and has handled himself professionally. He provides numerous daily updates on the projects progress backed up with live demos and or screen-shots. His work rate seems quite rapid as with my project he was blowing through the list of jobs with ease. He is also flexible in terms of pricing and unspecified changes to the project, as in the case of my project he was more than happy to add some additional features at a fair price without so much as grumble.

I was so happy with the level of service and support that i felt totally comfortable to send payment in full and without escrow. matu promptly delivered the app within a few minutes after TX confirmations.

(I always recommend the use of escrow when dealing with any unknown third-parties if your not entirely comfortable with sending part or full payment first!)

I will definitely be using matu services again in the very near future.

153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / QT not connecting to Testnet or downloading blocks ? on: August 10, 2014, 01:59:15 PM
I'm trying to get my QT on OSX to run on the testnet. I've added "testnet=1" to my conf.
But after some time now i still have no connections and of course no blocks are downloading. All it says is that there is no block source available ?
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would some Regulation in the Altcoin space be welcome? on: August 08, 2014, 06:39:51 PM
Yea we need the regulators as they are doing such a great job at not being brought and paid for and facilitating scams themselves.

If i understand correctly, i have to run 2 command windows. One with
Code:
./cryptonited -testnet
and the other to perform other tasks, such as
Code:
./cryptonited -testnet getinfo
or
Code:
./cryptonited -testnet listreceivedbyaddress 0 true
or
Code:
./cryptonited -testnet setgenerate true

Am i right ?
Yea, although if you run the deamon in something like screen then you can detach from the session and run further commands in the same window.
