Lets be patient with cryptopia. They have a lot to do, bottlecaps is a shitcoin and obviously not a top priority. It wont hurt us to be without exchange for a few more weeks.

Meow was one of the first 100 coins on the board. https://coinmarketcap.com/historical/20140209/It is a functional network 4 years later. Lynx can spinoff. Get it's own thread. Run it's own network, which I can't even currently sync. Also did not have access to a client for weeks after the fork (ninja mine much?)Lol. It is the same coin. It just got a new name. Is that really hard to understand? Dash was launched as Xcoin, became darkcoin and ended up as dash. Verge was launched as dogecoindark. It is not uncommon for coins to rebrand. Edit: The devs should definatly start a new thread, but is better to wait for cryptopia to start trading. |

We will probably see a massive correction soon. But btc dominance is not a very significant stat. Coinmarketcap continually adds new scams, shitcoins. Bitcoins share of the total market will naturally go down. The ripple pump is ridicilous and it will dump back soon enough.I would not be suprised to see btc dominance above 55% in Januar.

No one exept the lynx team can confirm anything. But you can do like the rest of us. Read all the information available here, on the blog and on getlynx.io and make an educated guess. And what is your calculated guess? What did you, move them to cryptopia or will you swap wallets over after you download the Lynx wallet? We were told to move the coins from cryptopia so thats what I did. There is no reason to move the coins anywhere if you store them securely with decent back up. Just wait for the new wallet and move your coins back to the exchange if that is what you prefer. Or play it cool and wait 6-12 months to see if this project goes anywhere. I don't see any reason to sell now. Lynx is a longshot. Your coins are more secure when you store them locally. Just remember to back up your keys. As long as you have your wallet.dat you cant loose anything. I will not even download the wallet before I plan to move the coins. |

I decided to keep my MEOW on my desktop and did not move them to Cryptopia. I was under the impression I could download the lynx wallet and just use the backed up wallet and peer files with it.
Was the only correct option transferring the MEOW to Cryptopia?

You should be able to download the Lynx wallet today or the next few days from https://getlynx.io/downloads/Perhaps you should save the private key of your Kittehcoin address to be sure. I have a big problem, I do not get my wallet connected, I have a config created, unfortunately without success, a large number of meows have already been sent by Cryptopia to my wallet but they did not arrive.
I then reinstalled the Wallet, and it does not work.
The much bigger problem is that I do not come to the coins, these are probably way.
I have the Wallet.dat saved on a USB stick, and also the deposit address.
How can I get the coins now, and how do I get the wallet up and running?
I use Windows 8 64 bit version.
I ask you for help.

Just wait for the new lynx wallet to launch. The coins will not show up until your wallet is synced (up to the block where you receive the coins). But the Wallet dont Sync The wallet is not released yet. You are on the wrong fork with the old kitteh wallet. Why would you want to sync that? |

Kittehcoin team..
I have a big problem, I think I lost all my Kittehcoins.
Yesterday I paniced because the Kittehcoin team said all the coins have to be stored in the wallet for the Hard-Fork of today. So I downloaded the wallet but it wasn't synced. Thanks to shtako I got the wallet syncing but this morning it still wasn't on 50%. So I tried to take a short cut to be on time for the Hard-Fork with the bootstrap.dat and removed all the earlier data and files.
But before I tried the bootstrap, I had already sent the coins to the wallet and backed up the wallet. When I tried the bootstrap I also deleted these backed up files, so now I'm afraid I lost all my coins. The new wallet doesn't show the address that I sent my coins to from cryptopia. What can I do now?
The worst of all is that I read on cryptopia this morning that I could leave the coins on the exchange for the Hard-Fork.. So thanks Kittehcoin team for losing all my money.
Lack of back up is probably the most basic crypto mistake... I really hope you find a way to restore the deleted backup.  |

This is just a quick reminder to move your KittehCoin off the exchanges before Dec 24. (#cryptopia #novaexchange) Lynx goes live on Dec 24 when it forks from KittehCoin. If you possess Kitteh before the 24th, then you’ll possess Lynx on the 24th (1:1). However, if your Kitteh is on an exchange before the fork, then you won’t.
Please spread the word. We don’t want to leave anyone behind!
You do not want to have coins on the exchange. Coins that are not on the exchange will become Lynx. This was their original announcement. But later, only a few hours before the fork, they also announced that cryptopia will swap as well. |

what will happen if i leave some coins there in Crytopia. During hardfork   Just leave the coins on cryptopia. After "everyone" already had moved their coins of cryptopia they announced yesterday that cryptopia will list lynx and performed the swap. Terrible communication from the lynx "team". |

Yes. Edit: Just remember to backup your wallet.dat Thanks. I sent my coins from cryptopia to my wallet while it was syncing. I think it will sync tomorrow until the evening. (now it has synced 200.000 of 1.7 million blocks) I have a last question: Are you sure that the hard fork (tomorrow 09.30 UTC) will be succesfull as I don't see any incoming coins in my wallet, but I DID send the kittehcoins from cryptopia?? Will it be hard-forked to lynx later when the synchronisation is done? Thanks a lot! You won't see the transaction until your wallet is synced. We have to move download the new lynx when it is released and move the old wallet.dat from the kitteh folder to the lynx folder. |
