141  Economy / Economics / Re: You missed all the trains, not just bitcoin on: March 10, 2018, 06:03:59 PM
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3085831.msg31823480#msg31823480

This is the next train in my opinion, this ICO aims at bringing in the masses into crypto.
142  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you still use bitcoins if the price would be stable? on: March 10, 2018, 05:35:36 PM
I would still use it because of it's nature to embrace the blockchain technology. I like this ICO bc they are aiming to level the price volatility through their arbitrage exchange which would attract the masses into a more "stable" crypto market.

144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: The next bitcoin on: March 10, 2018, 03:29:30 PM
Only the future can truthfully give you the answer you seek all else is just speculation. With that said I believe that the blockchain tech is here to stay. I support BTC and other cryptos and believe the ones with the best tech that solve the biggest most prevalent problems will stick around forever.

Here is an ICO I believe will be as big a contender as any bc they are working to bring the masses into crypto.

145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Fraud Telegram ICO's popping up, what to avoid ... on: March 10, 2018, 03:25:07 PM
https://www.coindesk.com/gram-scam-fake-telegram-ico-websites-just-keep-popping/

Read this so you avoid falling prey to this, know that Telegram coins are not even for sale yet and any company claiming they are is the fraudster.

Hope this helps somebody from losing money.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will other coins beat bitcoin in the future? on: March 10, 2018, 03:14:02 PM
So guys, what do you think about investing in different icos? I think it's a good idea. We never know which will take the lead in the future. Please help me and give me good suggestions!

Nobody knows which coins will be the big winner 5-10 years from now. Whatever coin focuses on making Crypto mainstream will win big. That's why I believe in this ICO, the project aims to solve the lack of mass adoption problem in a unique way, first arbitrage exchange.

147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Is the Binance hack today true??? on: March 10, 2018, 04:56:11 AM
For many exchanges this is a major issue still, hacking. That's why I believe in this new exchange with new security measures to keep private keys off the exchange and in the users control.

148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Exchange was hacked on: March 10, 2018, 04:53:13 AM
I think one of the biggest issues with exchanges is getting hacked. This is why I support this new ICO whose exchange allows users to store private keys themselves to prevent this from happening.

149  Economy / Economics / are people willing to lend against their crypto positions? on: March 10, 2018, 03:43:36 AM
https://www.coindesk.com/cash-hodl-family-office-offer-loans-bitcoin/

"Community is a huge part of this movement," CEO Mikhail Gurevich told CoinDesk. "One of the tests of whether assets are legitimate is if people are willing to lend against them."

For the entrepreneurs who are willing to bet on the strength of their holdings, there's a strategic opportunity at play. Essentially, the service would allow individuals and projects to borrow against either their own crypto assets (or those invested by supporters) rather than converting them directly to cash.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What cryptos are about to explode? on: March 10, 2018, 03:34:54 AM
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3085831.msg31823480#msg31823480

I believe in this ICO because their goal is to bring crypto mainstream, this would solve the huge problem of the lack of mass adoption.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hot Coins ! on: March 10, 2018, 03:30:33 AM
Hello everyone!
I hope the mods forgive me for opening a new thread!
But it makes no sense that new threads are opened because of 1 Coin!

I hope we can focus on this post here and make everything a bit more concise!  Smiley

Example of a posting:

Name of the coin
Reason why the coin is hot, or it could become (Announcement, Update, Releases)

like this:

Oyster Pearl / PRL
Testnet Release A at xx.Jan.2018

Maybe you will ad the Marketcap or a Price prediction... your choice!
Kind regards!

I believe in this project because they want to solve the problem of mass adoption by bringing in the masses into crypto with the 1st arbitrage exchange by leveling the price volatility that keeps so many scared people out of the market. The principal visionary has 30 years design experience and the CTO has 40 years coding experience in the financial markets for exchanges.

158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the best Cryptocurrency to invest 2018? on: March 10, 2018, 02:34:42 AM
I believe that since BTC has dominance in the market cap I would say it is King for now, who knows what the winner coins will be 10 years from now or even 5 for that matter. With that said whatever company focuses on bringing into the masses that are not yet involved in crypto could wear that crown. I believe in this ICO as that is their mission to make crypto mainstream. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3085831.msg31823480#msg31823480

160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Rewards: Sell immediately or HODL? on: March 10, 2018, 02:19:29 AM
I've been doing bounty campaigns only since December 2017.  Not long, in the scheme of things.  But one thing that truly surprised me during the last couple of months is the number of bounty hunters who look to sell their tokens ASAP.  At first, I didn't understand why, but I think I'm beginning to.

For me, I'm doing these bounty campaigns for a bit of fun and to give my mind a bit work to do, creatively speaking.  So my mindset for any bounty tokens is just to HODL and allow the devs to implement their roadmap and take the project through to completion.  I think this will give the best realisation of value on the tokens.  Sure, some may fail and they will likely end up worthless, but since I only invested time, not money, into receiving them, I'm not really worried.

So with that mindset, I struggled to understand why so many people were eager to offload their bounties at the earliest opportunity.

But over the weekend, I sat down and did some calculations on the accumulated bounty rewards I'm expecting to receive.  Each bounty by itself was a modest return, but when combined in totality, it was a sizeable amount.  And that's when it struck me...

Lots of people who live in less fortunate parts of the world, particularly in areas with high unemployment, probably NEED to sell their bounty rewards to put food on the table and pay their bills.

But I really don't know if my assumptions are correct.  So, my question to you is...

Do you sell your Bounty Rewards straight away or HODL?  Any insight into your reasons would be appreciated.

## If this post has been thought provoking for you, I'd really appreciate a bit of Merit in return ##

I prefer to HODL but then you have a good point we are blessed to live in a part of the world where we don't NEED to liquidate our holdings to feed our families or pay for necessities. That being said here is an ICO I believe in, they are aiming to bring crypto into the mainstream of society. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3085831.msg31823480#msg31823480
