201  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Support bitcoin adoption in Mongolia on: March 09, 2018, 12:27:29 AM
Support Bitcoin adoption in Mongolia and everywhere Bitcoin is not widely used and adopted, it takes the efforts of the world to bring crypto to full manifestation sooner.
202  Economy / Economics / Will this BTC price hold and does it indicate bull market yet? on: March 03, 2018, 10:28:02 PM
For the longest time we were waiting to see if the price would break $11,600 and stay above to indicate we're moving upward. Now we are testing this bear trend line and if we can break through and remain above it then I believe we would be entering into the new bull market. What do you think, will we continue up and to the right? Or will there still be some price fluctuation for a while as the accumulation phase takes it time to gather more fuel for the next run up?
203  Economy / Economics / Crypto threatens Bank of America? on: February 26, 2018, 01:34:02 AM
I realize this news came out 2 days ago however I love this! Bank of America in fear of crypto as a business risk, ha them bastards deserve what's coming next because they and all the other banks have been screwing us in the billions of dollars in bs fees and penalties annually, not to even mention the trillions of dollars they have tied up in their junk CD's and savings/bank accounts. Here's a link to the article for more info: https://www.coindesk.com/bank-of-america-cryptocurrency-risk-factor-annual-report-10-k/
204  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low will this bear trend go? on: February 26, 2018, 01:30:14 AM
Now is the time when tendency of all the currencies should turn in increasung direction, everydody is talking about cryoto spring.
Yep, many professionals believe that this spring will be traditionally bullish trend until the increase in total market capitalization to 1 trillion dollars.

Yes I agree and hope the Spring comes faster lol this price action right now is killing me jk not really but wish price would've stayed above $10k recently. I'm sure it'll be fine after the Spring though it'll go up to all time new highs and then we will all be talking about all the bull news, it's just a rollercoaster ride up and down.
205  Other / Politics & Society / Political coin = PetroDollar, what precedent is this setting? on: February 23, 2018, 03:16:42 AM
Is this the foundation being laid for more federal cryptocurrencies? I believe this is coming but will it be a good or bad thing? I believe if governments are in control of their own crypto then it can be corrupted just like the fiat system has been. If they do enter the space then they should be open source and decentralized if there is a way for centralized nations to do such a thing. I feel that this would be undermining what Nakamota had in mind when he created BTC. Let's see how this develops, thought or opinions on what else will come down the pipeline of nation coins?
206  Other / Politics & Society / Has anyone ever heard of the Cryptopia enthusiasts are building in Puerto Rico? on: February 23, 2018, 02:54:02 AM
So apparently these crypto enthusiasts are creating a crypto society. Where people from all over the world are welcomed to go live there by using 100% crypto as the currency there. It sounds amazing for Puerto Rico's government and economy to help boost it and it sounds like a nearby paradise where life can be affordable and where the cryptonation can enjoy the tax benefits of being outside other nations.
207  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Tax season & BTC in the USA, what the ****? on: February 23, 2018, 02:49:41 AM
I don't trust in the public system but, as the previous repost, you should make public all your incomes from crypto because for example Al Capone didn't get jail for the crimes but because of the IRS so don't underestimate the power or the measures that they will take.

A great point they are not to fool/mess around with. I guess the question is I'm not daily trading I simply bought another coin w the big coins btc and ether literally only 2 alt coins w those two bigger coins, and have not cashed out just held. So do I still have to declare these two "trades" since I bought it w btc and eth that grew a little since when I bought them initially so report that gain before I bought?
208  Economy / Speculation / Guess we're not out of this bear cycle yet, huh? on: February 23, 2018, 02:45:45 AM
So when in the world will we break out of this bear cycle? When do you think it will end? This is a good opportunity for those who do not already own, but I don't know about you but I want it to go beyond $20k already. I guess we'll let more people in now so we can go up to that next level of a bull run... Cryptoverse only knows.
209  Economy / Speculation / Does the recent price action indicate we are still in a bear market? on: February 22, 2018, 03:23:25 AM
We didn't break the resistance level, $11,600 we were needing to get out of the bear cycle but does this mean we are in a bear cycle much longer? How long do you think until we get on the next bull run that leads us to $20k and beyond? Hopefully, it happens sooner than later. Where are all my bulls at?
210  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low will this bear trend go? on: February 21, 2018, 05:34:43 AM
At what price do yal think will be bottom before we turn back up? I'm thinking $4,900 not to spread any FUD, however, they say when it rains it poors, and we have still yet seen people's response to this upcoming Tuesday on the 6th when all American policymakers meet, SEC and everyone else and we see what kind of regulation is made. The price will go down until the millionaires and wall street tycoons are happy to buy what they're going to buy and then we'll see it soar up to $13-$20k post regulations.

Bitcoin has reached its lowest point, which is $6,000.

The bear is over, we are in a phase. Now it's $11,000.

Every guess is uncertain, no one can predict the future.

Thanks for the sobering reminder that every guess is uncertain and nobody can predict the future. Reminds me of why everyone says to not put in more than what you're absolutely willing to lose 100% of, but I will continue believing that the Cryptoverse has more upside to offer bc of my rooted beliefs in blockchain tech. Now if only the values of the currencies will hold and thrive as the underlying tech is adopted, that would be ideal for all of us. Let us pray for this.
211  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC break through the $9k resistance line? on: February 21, 2018, 05:30:02 AM
If you know anyone with millions of dollars that are on the fence share with them to invest lol But beyond that we can do something to get those those that are not yet in the game involved. You can start a youtube channel, start a page on facebook, or simply even start making posts about crypto that don't overexaggerate but do more to bring light to this amazing blockchain revolution that we are blessed to take a part in. Let's start sharing more with our friends and family, why and how we got involved in crypto don't underestimate the power of your story.

I don't think you should try to convince people to join crypto. This is not a ponzi scheme so we don't really need to "force" people to join and invest so that the price goes up. You can of course talk about crypto and try to explain what it is, and how it could change our financial system, but you should never try to convince them to invest because there are no guarantees that this will work. People need to make that decision by themselves, so that if they do invest, they will be able to survive all the speculation that surrounds crypto markets.

We don't need more people that were "convinced" to join, but didn't understand anything about it, and just bought some BTC because they actually expected to get some profit out of it.

I had some friends that did invest, after I talked to them, but I only told them my point of view, and explained them that this is very risky and it could fail (mostly because people are greedy, and will probably keep treating crypto as a bubble). They decided to buy anyway, and like me, have strong hands because they did their research, they only invested money they could afford to lose, and they will stay until we get full adoption or crypto goes to 0. These are the kind of investors we want, but we will not get them with "propaganda". Let's leave that to ponzi scams.

I was moreso thinking in my head of disseminating information that was more educational than anything to draw those that are on the fence/considering investing in the tech as opposed to convincing/selling people on the idea of getting rich quick. I guess I did not convey it that way so thanks for the feedback. But yes you are right those types of ppl we don't want bc as fast as they buy in they leave just as quickly and we want money to stay in the decentralized system to fuel this new economy, and also to stabilize the volatility as much as possible which will in the end attract even more new money.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will the winners look like in the next 5 years? on: February 21, 2018, 05:22:55 AM
Those are two key components vying for tops in the industry but you overlooked a big feature which is being implemented right now and that is:privacy. Privacy coins are no laughing matter and in fact occupy 3 spots in the top 25. The way regulations and governments are trending I wouldn't be surprised if that number increased to 5-6 by years end which would give them the most amount of coins in the top 25 to a given section.

Great point I agree with this comment I believe that this will be a big part of the market now and especially as we go forward with regulation. Thanks for mentioning this and we will see how this all plays out and which coins win but these will def. always have appeal in the decentralized world for many reasons.
213  Other / Politics & Society / Tax season & BTC in the USA, what the ****? on: February 21, 2018, 05:17:35 AM
So how are you guys doing your taxes? I understand buy and holders don't have anything to report but being that any and every trade is taxed then what happens if you bought alt coins but didn't sell in 2017? Would you still have to report it? Since you technically bought BTC or Ether and then made a transaction to buy your alt coin and when you did you might have had an increase in your coin so what do you do regarding that if you still didn't bring gains to fiat, but had a gain and bought alt coins..?

Ppl that have filed crypto taxes opinions welcomed thnx cryptoverse
214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Will lightning network keep BTC as the dominant coin in the market cap? on: February 21, 2018, 01:01:56 AM
Now that the lightning network is on the cusp of being full force what are your thoughts and opinions on how it will affect in relation to the price of BTC? Will more people use it? Will it dispell many of the drawbacks regarding speed, fees, and scalability that people were knocking BTC for?
215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Will BTC always remain dominant in the Crypto economy? on: February 20, 2018, 05:37:09 PM
I've heard notable people saying that once you can more widely buy alt coins with fiat directly without using Bitcoin or Ethereum mainly first to buy these coins that one day people believe this is how BTC will lose it's market cap dominance. Do you think this will ever happen and when if so? Even if you can buy any alt coin with fiat will people still not hold BTC first being that it is the oldest cryptocurrency? I believe in investing in something with a long track record, of course I own a very few speculative plays however BTC and Ether are my most trusted coins because of their longstanding lifetime. What do you think will other coins eventually outperform these tried and tested giants?
216  Other / Politics & Society / How long until regulation happens to Crypto? on: February 20, 2018, 04:37:18 AM
There have been officials say from inside the white house that regulation isn't expected to happen anytime soon. Do you believe them? Based on what the SEC said in the hearing earlier Feb. it seems like they will at least start regulating ICO soon. What are your thoughts and opinions?
217  Economy / Securities / Do you think all ICO are securities ? on: February 19, 2018, 11:42:49 PM
https://www.coindesk.com/no-not-icos-securities/

This article brings to light that all ICO's are Not securities, I personally don't think any of them fit into the SEC square box nicely of how they define one. This is a completely new and different asset class and should be treated as one when it comes to regulation. I find it ironic that there is a Securities forum to chat on here, are we trying to support uncle Sam or take him down with this forum?

218  Other / Politics & Society / Will SEC regulation kill BTC and Alt. Coins? on: February 19, 2018, 04:02:10 AM
https://www.coindesk.com/no-not-icos-securities/

Awesome link explaining Utility tokens are the way to go! Maybe not every ICO is 100% safe, but you stand a better chance being a utility token is what this article drives home. This is encouraging news showing that regulation cannot defeat us, we will overcome stronger than ever.
219  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Chinese New Year boost crypto market cap? on: February 19, 2018, 03:58:31 AM
Good comments overall and kudos to you all who also remember that Chinese New Year does not only affect China but other nations nearby that have holidays during this same time, it's more than one nation.
220  Economy / Economics / Does breaking $10,600 BTC resitance line = Bull run? on: February 19, 2018, 03:33:12 AM
Previously BTC kept bouncing down off $10k downward and with the recent breakthrough of the $10,600 resistance line I'm curious to know are the bulls back out again? Are we out of the bear cycle woods now? Only the future will tell but I'm optimistic that the end of February going into March will be the beginning of the next bull run or if not that for sure some volatility followed by an accumulation period.

Any thoughts on if we are beginning the next big bull run or not?
