This is something desirable, of course, and you've got one more client, which is me, but this will eventually cause equalisation of the prices among exchanges and the arbitrage opportunities will not last long.

Hi,

I think I've created an account on orgcoin.org but I can never login. It always gives the error "Failed login attempt, please try again." My username is Najska. Any help will be appreciated.

And I'll be so glad if you add me to beta.

Sure, if you can run bfgminer you should be good to go.  (Don't use cgminer, they don't support GPU or Scrypt).
Thanks for the answer. This will be my first mining experience so I need some further help. I used the command "./bfgminer --scrypt -O pool.orgcoin.org:9327 -u [my litecoin address with which I registered to the pool] -p [my password]" and that's what Terminal says: No URI supplied for pool 0.

Thanks

I've just figured it out that there's no need for the API actually. https://btc-e.com/api/3/trades/btc_usd/?limit=2000 gives the last 2000 trades, which is I think enough even for 30-second update intervals.

Is it possible to run the miner on Mac OS?

You should talk to a lawyer. You may get more than you lost, hopefully.
146  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why are BTC prices not moving ? on: February 03, 2014, 09:26:11 PM
Any chance to hit $5000 in the 2nd half of the year ?
This is the calm before the storm. The next storm coming, which I predict will arrive sometime in the next 4 weeks will bring the price of a single btc to over 5K.
I think an estimation above $3600 would be too optimistic for 2014.

This is why. Prepare for CCMF in summer.
So according to this we could expect some dips and then a rally? I wouldn't still count on these kind of charts, if you look hard enought you could find all kind of patterns from the history.

Yeah, charts are useless for things like Bitcoin. There's no point trying to read them or find patterns.
Oh, guess who's making %1 profit each day by finding patterns. Yeah, it's true, it's me. You should take that graph serious.

Thanks for the answers. I didn't know that there is a 3rd version of BTC-e API. That will do. Many thanks.

Thanks for your analysis, but I think "the next support" isn't 0.008. There would be another support line at somewhere between 0.022 and 0.020. You may need to change the time interval for a candle to 3 days to see I what I mean.
149  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: CI Bitcoin Trading Robot on: February 02, 2014, 03:48:41 PM
To all who have written to the topic,

I'm currently working on a "trade robot", too. My primary aim is to make profit by having the code trade for myself, but I want to commercialise the project later and do what OP does. So, do you think that there is way of offering such a service without taking their API keys? Sorry, but I cannot give my precious source code.

Greetings fellows,

I'm working on a black-box trading software for BTC, and I need the live trade information of the BTC-e market. Actually, what I need is the trade data of last 100 seconds. By trade data I mean the Unix date, amount and price information of each trade taking place in a given time period. BTC-e API gives only last 150 trades, so whenever there are more than 150 trades to be considered, there are missing data. And Bitcoincharts API allows only one query in 15 minutes. But the code needs to refresh the data once in every 100 seconds.

Hello to all!

This is my first post in this forum, so let me start by introducing myself. I'm a new to the world of cryptocoins but I have experience with many advanced computational techniques and their implementations in various platforms as well as mathematical tools to understand the econometrics of coin trade. I've been dealing with the stuff for about three months and learnt the basics of behavioural, technical and quantitative analyses. Now, I'm working on a project I call Black Box Trade with Neural Network Forecasting (BBTNNF). The project aims at offering a simple and effective tool for those who seek to enjoy algorithmic trading in the realm of cryptocoins. The current readily available applications for such a purpose all use the outdated methods which fall short of providing an accurate and sustainable forecasting strategy, and therefore fail to be a reliable software for automated trading. On the other hand, BBTNNF will exploit fractal analysis tools with neural network algorithms to make the right decision for the user. However, as I said, this project has just started, and I will need to consult experts writing in this forum, which is my motivation to be a member.
