141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you store your 24 word phrase? on: July 04, 2018, 11:31:34 AM
Thinking of being hacked is just overkill. You can simply keep your phrase on an email. I do make a unique email for every key that you make. My friends and my group have also started to copy this style and it is safe. Other thing is to print it on a piece of paper and laminate it and paste it in your wall, but you need to insert it on a group of words and place it on many group of number and you are the one who only know where it is.
Your strategy is so good. I think your way is more secured . I want to follow your strategy. It is also safe if it will be saved in a flashdrive and you keep it.
142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Accepting bitcoin after rendering services. on: July 04, 2018, 10:06:17 AM
Obviously, there are several ways with which bitcoin can be earned and payment of goods or services can be a way in which one can earn bitcoin. The magnitude of acceptance of bitcoin seems to be very low on the part of some individuals since these individuals do not know about bitcoin. Guys, I want to know how best you can convince such individuals into accepting bitcoin after they have rendered some services to you.
As for me, I will tell what I know about bitcoin. I will share my experiences and the good things bitcoin brings into my life. And it us up to him to accept bitcoin in return for his service or not

144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency in five years! on: July 02, 2018, 10:21:09 PM
Legendary investor Tim Draper is confident that in five years all will use crypto currency. According to Draper, the technological shift that we can observe now will be more significant than the transition from the Stone Age to the Bronze Age. Answering the question about how he sees the current situation in comparison with the period when he invested in the technologies of web 1.0 and 2.0, he replied that web technologies and transformed the concept of information, while blocking has the potential to transform almost all industries, including government services.
Cryptocurrency will be used all over the world. Probably this will happen. There are already countries using cryptocurrencies in some of their transactions. And I know some of the countries are studying cryptocurrency now.
145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin go under regulation on: July 02, 2018, 11:55:37 AM
Many government are seeing Bitcoin or cryptocurrency as a threat to their financial system and they think it should be regulated to solve the problem. Do you think they can regulate Bitcoin ?
If bitcoin will be regulated, I think the essence of decentralization will diminished. But if properly regulated and the purpose is just to stop or prevent the threat to the country financially and the other aspect then I think it is just good.
146  Economy / Economics / Re: Why most bitcoin users from good economies countries? on: July 02, 2018, 08:00:43 AM
You don't expect people from poor countries where they don't have something to eat to care about bitcoin. Do you? The ATMs also means nothing If we take china for example, they were dominating the market but almost no ATM there, same thing applies for Korea and Japan. Germany comes just after the U.S when it comes to the Darknet illegal drugs listings where bitcoin is being used so why not ATMs? It's because of the regulations. I could list a few countries that you would consider as third world country ,have no ATMs, no exchanges and still have more bitcoiners then some of the countries you listed. In other words, the ATMs don't represent the user base at all.
Yes you are correct fellow. In addition to that, how can thd people use bitcoin when their internet signal is too poor. There are still places like that. And most poor countries surely do not mind bitcoin, they are more busy towards earning fiat money for their daily living.
147  Economy / Economics / Re: Long-term or short-term, here are the results you need! on: July 01, 2018, 12:26:13 PM
Alexander Momot, co-founder and CEO of the UK-based cryptocurrency startup REMME, recently posted on Facebook, showing data on ICO tokens held by investors in 36 countries as of June this year, saying the company collected data on almost all white papers. Monitor some of the ICO's overall trends, such as whether residents in each region tend to hold or sell within four months of the currency.

From the data presented by Momot, it can be found that in developing countries such as Brazil, Nigeria, Pakistan, Turkey, and the Philippines, buyers tend to sell ICO tokens within four months after issuing coins. Russia and Ireland also have such short-term buyers, holding only 12% and 21% of investors.

In developed countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Switzerland, Sweden, and Hong Kong, buyers tend to hold longer, but Ukrainian buyers also tend to hold, and their share of investors held in four months 58%.

I think whether long term or short term it will depend on the price of the crypto coin you are holding. Just  keep track of the market price. For me, this is the best thing to do.
148  Economy / Economics / Re: market refresh or just a pump ? on: July 01, 2018, 11:59:07 AM
Hi today market goes green
as you can see in 1 houre perfomance everything changed is it the comeback or just a pump ? what you think about it what is going on ?

I think the price of bitcoin will pump soon. This is just a start. Soon, I know the price will go even higher. And let us all wait for that to happen. Just be patient.
149  Economy / Speculation / Re: Curiosity of bitcoin prices in the future on: June 23, 2018, 07:11:19 AM
Yes, I think that this figure will be in 2018. It is difficult to say exactly, but I think that in the 4th quarter there will be a rapid growth and the price can even jump beyond the amount you specified. There are many objective reasons for this. By the end of the year, many countries will have adopted laws to regulate bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
I am optimistic that this is going to happen. And we will all be going to celebrate when that time comes. So let us just hold our coins and just wait for the right time is just so near.
150  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the government really scary? on: June 21, 2018, 02:06:30 PM
Government will not kill people who are using cryptocurrency because some of the government employees are also a hodlers, they can prohibit you from investing but not to the point of killing you. We all know billionaires are slowly adopting the technology so obviously they have the connections to the government. Don’t be scared, government will adopt this later on.
Yes I agree on this. The good government will not harm us unless we are doing illegal that could harm humanities. But as long as we are just eaning a living peacefully and without harming others then we must not be afraid.
151  Economy / Economics / Re: The panic seller irony on: June 20, 2018, 03:08:29 PM
I know some coworkers that sold BTC today, they are real casuals, they got into BTC because they heard it went up a lot, they don't know even to set a local wallet so they store their coins on Coinbase or wherever the fuck they buy at.

Well, they sold today at at the dip near the $4000 double bottom.

The irony is, these casuals are the ones that are always complaining about how it's unfair that BTC is distributed in the hands of few whales, YET, they are the ones that constantly panicsell and give their cheap BTC back to these same hands they are complaining about, because guess who is profiting the most on these dumps: whales. They buy lots of cheap BTC.

If you want whales to stop having so much BTC, don't panic sell or you will keep feeding them. Just focus on your own portfolio and keep stacking BTC on the dips. In the long term, we will win.
Yes you are right! If no one will sell their bitcoin then how can the whales buy? There is no buyer if there is no seller. But there maybe others who panic sell for some reasons. Maybe some of them really needs it to sell.
152  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think about the current market? on: June 19, 2018, 05:08:10 AM
The current market has a lot of good news. However, the bitcoin price is not only not increasing as expected but also continuously decreasing, causing many people to lose confidence in it. Bitcoin prices continuously dropped from the highest level near $ 20,000 to nearly 6,500. $ current. Do you think there is an organization that is making bitcoin to buy in?
I observe that today the market is still not so good. But I just hope soon the price will rise. The investors and participants have a big influence in the market.
153  Economy / Economics / Re: Wise thing to do with your savings. on: June 17, 2018, 12:20:10 AM
I see that many of you actually liked the concept of 20 % method wherein you allot 20% of your earnings to be saved as emergency fund.
So I was thinking, if that 20% allotted will be invested in a time deposit kind of account, will it still be possible to earn as much or invest it in cryptocurrency? Or maybe just let the money sleep until such time you will need it?
What will be a wise kove to do with the noney you have saved up?
Savings should not sleep. It is better if we invest them. It is wise to make them double or triple instead of just making it as it is as the time when it will be used.
154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does world cup Football 2018 not have any effect on crypto market. on: June 16, 2018, 12:12:22 PM
I hope during world cup football the price of bitcoin will increase. It has been started, but I see no effect. It is a big event of the world. Does it not bring any value to bitcoin.
I think that football cup will not affect the price of bitcoin or any other crypto coin. I do not see any connection for this. But probably if there are investors whose bet are crypto coin.
155  Economy / Economics / Re: Trading Bitcoin for real estate? on: June 15, 2018, 09:51:12 AM
I am wondering how many of you are selling your bitcoins to buy something solid like real estate as backup investment? spread the eggs!
Buying real estate or real properties after earning from bitcoin is a very good move. It is just and fullfilling to somehow see the fruit of your hardwork and patience.
156  Economy / Economics / Re: Can human stupidity affect the movement of the market? on: June 14, 2018, 11:17:15 PM
Hello, community. Political, economic and social news in the media significantly affect the life and behavior of the crowd. How can crypto news affect the movement of the market?
The behavior of the crowd affects crypto currency since crypto coin's value is affected by its demand and supply. Whatever will be the feelings and opinions of the people, crypto currency will be affected.
157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Real life usage of bitcoin on: June 14, 2018, 09:40:31 AM
Don't you think price blast not correlate with its real life usage since its inception?

Its hoarded for speculative purpose but how many major cities in the world have even its ATM?

I mean we all the time correlate its value with fiat currency then buy/take then what's its purpose in my day to day life?

Who will accept it in store when confirmation time is so long.
I think there arw businessmen who are now using bitcoin as a mode of payment or as an exchange to the service rendered to them. There are businessmen wanted to promote their product and hire people to advertise their product.
158  Economy / Economics / Re: When will people feel comfortable using BTC ? on: June 13, 2018, 07:45:54 AM
When will people spend BTC as easily as fiat , not seeing it as an investment opportunity but a better currency for them to use ? Most of my friends that I have currently told about Bitcoin are most intrigued by its rapid rate of growth and not its outstanding features as a currency. They don't really care that it is free from government control , but are more focused on the fact that it has risen xy%

I don't really spend much of my Bitcoin , because I am always in fear.
I am not talking about cashing out , but for digital goods.

How do you spend 10 mBTC on a 5$ digital good when you believe that the same 10mBTC is worth atleast 15$ , probably more.
How much of your Bitcoin have you hoarded , and how much have you really spent ?
I am under the impression that people tend to hoard more with BTC than with fiat , considering it an investment more than a currency

I don't know how to make a poll here , so :- http://strawpoll.me/1793917
This is not referring to your blockchain.info statistic , which includes money you have moved around. I am looking at money you have truly spent vs total amount of BTC you have received.

Overall , I'm trying to look at how much my guess is true by the poll and your estimates of when majority of people will start looking at BTC as a currency.

EDIT : I'm not sure this is the right section , tell me if this should go in General Discussion or so.
For me, using bitcoin as a replacement of fiat money is  good if its value is stable. As long as it is not or cannot be stable then it is good for investments.
159  Economy / Economics / Re: Simply predict the future of bitcoin on: June 12, 2018, 01:39:46 AM
According to the k-line of 2011-2017, the major bull markets are basically those that rise after a super rally and then go back a year to two years later.

When should the chance of tuen mun be this time?

Feel like there's a half-year down period?

While history will not simply repeat itself, shouldn't the bull market come so soon?

The ICO bubble is pretty bad.
The value of crypto currencies are volatile, so it has the tendency that the price will go up and suddenly down and vice versa. In my point of view we cannot reallt predict the coins value.
160  Economy / Speculation / Re: SELL EVERYTHING!!!!! on: June 09, 2018, 08:33:38 AM
I'm gonna be honest with you all , i have been trading/investing since 2017.

I earned about 110.000 by trading and basically lost it all, i decided to sell the rest and just quit. I'm gonna explain why, this cryptocurrency market
is very manipulative and can easily be controlled and it will never stop. The icos/alts will always keep sucking all the btc cash so it will always be hard for btc to grow and
dominate.

This market is made to make money and profit from noobs it's like a bitconnect scheme. Every dollar that is made by someone, someone will lose money. Every dollar that
is made in this system will be sold to fiat and if there is low btc buy power it will mean that btc will only keep going down. This market is basically made to make
money from new users like a scheme. For example can you actually believe that if you would've put 10k usd into bitconnect you would have a monthly return of about 4500
every month by lending? This is unbelievably high which again means for every btc/dollar you lend out into this cryptocurrency system = someone will lose money that's
the main reason this market won't be there for long. Because it's basically a pyramid scheme.
Investing in here is really a risky one. A successful investor has a high level of tolerance and patience. Nothing is sure or can predict what will happen with the market.
