141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHY THE BLAME ON BOUNTY HUNTERS FOR SHITCOINS? on: April 23, 2020, 04:13:18 PM
We are in a new era of bounties where inexperienced developers are trying to create or build projects that they can't handle, the fastest way of creating an awareness is through bounties that's why we bounty hunters always fall for bad projects the most

Sometimes I wonder seeing people who have not been in this forum before, not active and do not know our things are done, come up with just any project. These same people do not have much knowledge about blockchain technology, yet they want a project in that line. This is why you see them commit several flaws in their projects.
A project that would succeed will start first from the team of that same project. The lack of knowledge can destroy the project/ They should know how to handle their community.
Their investors, apart from the product they intend delivering should be their priority.
If they can do what will make investors to have confidence in them, there will be no one to blame, not even the bounty hunters. and the project will run smoothly.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does success mean? on: April 21, 2020, 02:05:50 PM
As for me, I'd like to divide that between long term and short term success.

every project has a road map or a plan they follow, and if they were able meet that per schedule and it makes investors happy, that's called short term success, but to get the ultimate success is what most investors are looking for as they believe that start up projects take time to mature and that's the reason they hold.

Lots of them are afraid of holding, no matter how good the project is, except very few who truly understand.
The only problem I have when it comes to a project that shows the good potential is if the team eventually dump what they have. I believe that a project that is able to stay alive and well for more than two years, listed already, with good volume and trading on several exchanges, is a project on the verge of success because that is not enough to conclude it has succeeded. Even bitcoin as old and as good as it is, cannot be said to have outrightly succeeded.
A project that has not been fully adopted is not yet successful.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: High rewards still possible in bounties? on: April 21, 2020, 02:00:40 PM
The support for new projects are getting smaller everyday, the main reason why investors invest in IEO today is only for quick gains, no one have interest in keeping their coins for years to come, the best example is binance IEO, after the IEO is over investors sell off

This is more like a generalized statement and has take everyone who invests in a project to be dumpers. That is not always the case. There are investors, who are holders and at the same time, you can see some who have the skill in trading. These are people that take advantage of weekends to buy more, perhaps after selling early at a good price. There are projects that pump as much as X4, X10, which does not mean that after selling, you cannot still make a profit again. Although it might dump, if you know when to come in again to buy, it will be another opportunity to make a profit.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safe Campaigns in the Altcoin sections to join. Dont waste your time with others on: April 21, 2020, 01:55:39 PM
Yes, guys waykichain is serius project.

It's listed on Huobi and Bittrex and others exchanges Smiley

Join Telegram because they do much airdrop, quiz, contest, etc

Good to see you mentioned that, but why not add a link, so people can easily access it.
Sometimes, searching through google to get the link to project might be confusing and might land you into an unwanted group. The reason I said this, is that, when you search through telegram by typing the name of the project, you might see different options, which sometimes might get you more confusing.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum going upwards brace yourself, and simply hodl now. on: April 20, 2020, 09:06:55 PM
that's right! The price of Ethereum will continue rising as its launch of Proof of Stake is approaching as well as Bitcoin halving also approaching. This is the best time to purchase more of Ethereum and hold for a very midterm profits once they launch their Proof of Stake protocol.
The effect of bitcoin halving might not be much, but I believe that Ethereum will grow even if Bitcoin does not. The pace at which ETH is going is currently high. The 24 hours percentage difference is higher for ETh, compared to most of the top coin.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which projects do you hold? Which ones do you believe in? on: April 20, 2020, 08:57:19 PM
If you are in for a short term profit, then holding most of these coins might bring losses. The market is seriously fluctuating almost every time. You see a little surge and after few days, it surges again. I personally do not buy the idea of holding just anything. That coin A is performing well, does not mean that coin B will also do likewise, Also, their performing time will be different.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the next movement in the market on: April 20, 2020, 08:51:55 PM
Fact is market is generally down and things have gone so bad. Imagine only today the huge dump and I really lost alot this period. I think it's a period one shouldn't hold for long, a period one should do more of day trading j must say. Holding long isn't a good advice for now. Market is going down as coronavirus keeps increasing in number daily. I just hope all these just resolve and world's economy bounces back including Crypto world

How long will one continue to keep watch on the market, day trading and trying to manually sell high and buy low? If you have not been used to the system or that you were not formerly a day trader, it will not be an easy thing to accomplish. The truth is that people are manipulating the market. There is no news and the market is pumping, we should then know that it can also quickly dump.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PSA : Remember to always back up your Private key / Seed! on: April 18, 2020, 10:06:04 PM
That is the most important thing that every wallet/exchanges should think about always make a back up, cause once those, Phrase, seeds, or privates keys lost you won't be able your assets. It is not that hard to take it down in notes and label it, rather than lossing everything yplou have because of your laziness.

Definitely, most of the exchanges I have seen backup or keep their funds securely and their private keys are with them, which is not the duty of a user. That is why if they claim that their exchange was hacked, it gets me surprised because the control of funds is in their hands.
Your private wallet is your personal wallet and should be guided jealously.  Also, while writing down, sure you look at every detail again, to be sure of what has been done.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market Manipulation Or Not? on: April 18, 2020, 09:56:36 PM
the graph is leading to a very significant increase, it looks like the project team is pumping it to attract investors. on the one hand, probit and Vindax are dangerous exchanges, the trading volume there is invalid and I am worried investors will trust this project after seeing prices rise high.

Only the investors who are still novices will be carried away by such. First, there have been a lot of talks about the exchange. Personally, if I should see or read that a project is listed there, I will definitely not go close to it, because of my reservations about it.
This is where investors need to be careful, particularly when a coin is pumping, but not listed on a reputable exchange, the volume could be fake, but if you know you can risk it as an investor, then fine.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wrong accused projects on: April 17, 2020, 08:05:30 PM
I do not think such lists exist. But most projects, regardless of size, face different accusations. Just as we investigate whether a project is not a scam, we must investigate the allegations. As an example, I remember when Cardano just came out on the market a lot of people were telling  that they were scam project. However, they still exist and occupy high positions.

That they are now well established does not mean they will not still have one accusation or the other. Ethereum till date is still facing its own challenges, particularly when it is plunging. People say all sort of things. The wrong accusation most times are used as propellers for FUD.
Since those in the past experienced it, new ones should expect much more than that. If they are able to pass the test of accusations, they will get better and stronger.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Detective Community Populer? on: April 17, 2020, 07:56:52 PM
Bounty Detective Community is a bounty group that is currently popular because many bounties managed by this group (maybe) their performance is better, so there are many projects that he wants to manage.

Do you think that this bounty group will continue to manage the campaign for the future? Yeah, I think so.

Some bounties that in my opinion are best managed by him.

HACKEN.AI
EARNBET
BASIC FINANCE
IOI
GAIMIN
HEX Distributed
CNBD

Currently there are still many bounties that are ongoing, which means that the management is the best.
I think this thread is for the supporting the mentioned BM.
Not sure about that Telegram Chat, but it would be more appropriate to just start a thread here about the portfolio of the manager.
Whether you're working for him or not, that would be a more organized thing to do to keep track of the campaigns being managed.

I think anybody can come up with this for,m of appraisal, not necessarily that the person is working for bounty detective. He might have seen and appreciated their quality works. I also discovered them lately and I think I decided to be part of their bounty, because of what they have been bringing to the bounty community. Inasmuch as they continue in this wise, I personally will continue to support them.
152  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The right mindset needed for all traders on: April 17, 2020, 06:45:51 PM
Almost all of these things come exclusively with experience. They cannot be transmitted verbally or taught. You can show and explain to people how it works,
but they will understand this only after they get into the above situations and go through them. The more conclusions they make on each situation, the more progressive their growth will be.
Exactly! All those points the original poster mentioned does not apply for everyone.  He ended up generalizing everyone. Emotions and habits does not act the same way in everyone. You will need to have experience first before you start trading. This way you will get to know what are your problems and how badly it is affecting your trading. You will also make mistakes while trading which will help you learn!
Now if the person does not want try to "fix" his problems and mistakes, then that is a whole different story.
Are you aware that our financial IQ is composed of 90% emotional brain and only 10% of our rational brain. It means that our emotions have great factor especially when it comes to investing. There are 2 main emotions in the market, it is greed and fear. There are people who have this two whete they cannot fully control their emotions that makes them to lose in a trade. We should remember that trading psychology is also important and we should consider it.
If you read my post again, you will see that I never mentioned anything about emotion not being involved in trading. Yeah, I know emotion does matter a lot when it comes to investing and trading or taking any financial decisions. What I am trying to say is "these emotions (psychological effect)" different people in different ways.
Original poster talks about discipline, planning, flexibility and so on. One needs to "experience" first before they can bring out those perfect plan, patience, positive mental attitude etc.

@adzino, I think you are right. I would look abstract when one begins to analyze emotions without practicalizing it. Apart from trading, the fact remains that we have put our emotions into test through different encounters in life. Coming into trading now is a different ball game. It is until you do the trading itself before you will know how strong or weak you are emotionally and constant or active trading can help to tame or control it, particularly when it comes to risk management, because trading itself is risk taking.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coronavirus ain't helping on: April 14, 2020, 08:32:56 PM
coronavirus is not allowing people to pursue and achieve their goals for the year because individuals, families, societies and communities are not able to actively perform to their optimum level as the national life is been redefine to adjust to the reality and the existence of the virus.

They might not be able to actualize it offline since there is a lockdown, but you know, it is still achievable online, except they lack the know-how or skill for it. Coronavirus should not be allowed to define our lives in totality. It is just one of those things that have the ability to cause limitation, but we should ensure not to be limited by it. You can still stay at home to trade and invest in cryptocurrency, most especially with the undulating nature of the market.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Possible Effects of Coronavirus on the Crypto Industry on: April 14, 2020, 08:17:41 PM
I don't see India and Korea utilizing cryptos yet as an alternative way of payment but I know that they legalized it already. Too bad that we're still in the middle of the pandemic and we don't have definite time of when would this end, but surely people would start to buy cryptos after this.
Kinda not surprised about the stock market crash, like anyone surely thinks of grabbing their money to buy their needs because they know they can just do freelancing and earn there instead.

Every market is presently affected, however, both crypto and stock have not seen the bottom and i do not think they will, despite the pandemic. The stock market in China is improving, while the general world stock is below where it was when the pandemic was not yet serious.
The cryptocurrency market is still fluctuating and it is not plunging beyond a reasonable doubt because investors are still buying. and traders are actively trading with the little fluctuations.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Learn and learn and keep learning will safe you from lots of foul play on: April 13, 2020, 06:35:44 PM
Smile! Is good to be learning day by day but  this  can only  minimize the chance of been scamed not to eradicate scam. No matter how you learn or make a research, you will still for victim at times.
Because scammers are also growing but if you keep your mins equip with the right knowledge, then they will not succeed on you. I do believe on continuous learning especially on trading and investing, cryptocurrency is very volatile and if you don’t have knowledge on that, then expect to lose money.

That is the right thought. One thing about life is that learning never stops. It is more like a necessity in this journey of life. The day a man stops learning, that day is when he starts to become vulnerable.
also, learning can either be conscious or unconsciously and do not assume you know it all, maybe through materials that you read. You can also learn from a fellow human whom on a normal ground might seem to know nothing.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Methods that fraudsters use to scam people on: April 13, 2020, 06:29:55 PM
Scammers use public charging spots for scamming? That's certainly a new one. I guess soon we'll be no where safe. Aerial malware attacks, even when offline will be the new trend!!
Scammers or hackers do that.
There are youtube videos that shows how they can easily do this using public spots or connections like WiFi.

He is definitely referring to people in countries where they have a shortage of electricity supply. Most times, people just go out in the public to get their sets charged. If you do not stay with your set, a scammer might take your phone and export some important information that will make him gain access to your fund, most especially your crypto fund in this case.
Since not so many people do this, I think, we might not see lots of cases on that. However, it should not be overlooked.
Another major means could be through mishandling or being careless with important documents.
there are some people that store or write important info in their dairy, in case their set gets lost. Such a diary should be well kept.
157  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Well Organized Scam Projects on: April 13, 2020, 06:23:32 PM
How can we safe ourselves from well organized scam projects? Some projects are so well crafted and in the end they scam people, to my own understand research doesn't help here at all, use case, whitepaper, team, every thing are so real and make sense, please give advice about this

Part of the means through which scam projects are caught are either through plagiarized whitepaper or fake team, but I have now noticed that a lot of them will try to outsmart in these areas. They might decide not to have a voluminous whitepaper. Some of them even write just one-page whitepaper to escape being caught through that means.

When it comes to the team, they might tell you that they are using anonymous team, which could not be revealed or that their team are on twitter or cord and if you want to reach them, you can talk to them through that means. Although they will remain suspicious, you cannot yet conclude through that on whether they are scammers or not.

When a project becomes questionable like this, it is better you do not invest in it.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What matters to grow the price of an Altcoin on: April 11, 2020, 10:40:06 AM
Having a good project is not enough. In fact, some good projects are more or else in one spot, because the team are stalk at a point. If a project has well-connected team members and perhaps a good partnership, that is enough marketing on its own. If those partners are able to inform their community about the new project, that is a plus.
Take a look at what is happening to SOL. It's got the big of the big players and that made it very easy for them to list on Binance. Taking the project to a big exchange can bring great value to it and by virtue of that, it is very much possible to see a high price.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BOUNTY PUNISHMENT, TASKS ARE TOO DEMANDING on: April 11, 2020, 09:17:48 AM
Humans cannot be the same and that is to tell you that bounty managers cannot be the same. Having such rule is meant to guide against making meaningless posts and perhaps guide against some odds, such as spamming and the likes.
I still like his style, because it helps to keep bounty hunters on guard and make them realise that they are here for serious business. Although, not everyone is here for bounty and to make money through bounty, but if that is what you have come to do, then you should be ready to abide by the rules.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IS WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION LEVERAGING ON BLOCKCHAIN FOR COVID 19? on: April 10, 2020, 11:25:33 AM
here's a source
https://www.coindesk.com/world-health-organization-teams-with-ibm-oracle-on-blockchain-based-coronavirus-data-hub

There had been voices even in the past to store and track medical reports in blockchain. Chinese government is also working for a similar model.
There had been concerns about privacy but we can let people choose if they want to be a part of it or not.

Well, if Condesk is stating that it is authentic, there might not be a doubt about that. However, my main concern is that, whatever form it is going to take, even if blockchain technology will be used, those behind it should not dear to solicit for donations from people, because it will be seen as scam. We have read a lot about some scammers coming up for donations and selling coins, in the name of helping to curb the worldwide pandemic (COVID-19).
If blockchain will be used, fine and if not, the drive for adoption continues.
