141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the global currency of Earth on: February 24, 2016, 02:36:39 PM
Bitcoin has many advantages that could make it the global dominating legal tender, but for some reasons it's not yet. On the other hand we have an USD - currency accepted almost everywhere in the world, but it was meant to be just national mean of payment. Bitcoin supporters should consider wider spectrum of factors before announcing such things like title of this thread (which I wish to become true!).
142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I made a pizza guy laugh today. on: February 24, 2016, 02:27:35 PM
There's a restaurant in my city that sells pizza and accept Bitcoin. You can buy marijuana next door too and pay with Bitcoin.

I really need to move to the US for a variety of reasons Sad

You have to choose right State to move in, or you could be surprised when getting accused of some strange/funny "crimes"  Cheesy
143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 13 ways to watch the price of Bitcoin on: February 24, 2016, 02:22:34 PM
When I tried some trading last year, I had bitcoinium widget set on my phone screen. I could set refreshing as often as I wanted to, as well as displaying prices in one of many currencies and I could set my fauvorite BTC exchange to get actual rates from Smiley I don't know if it's still working.
144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: February 21, 2016, 11:34:43 AM
I play on gamble site and make a profit . Then i invest on trusted mining Cheesy

how much bitcoin you can earn from gambling?
i think gambling is just wasted your money no more..

Gambling is not always wasted your money though. People who lose on gambling always complain and people who winning on gambling keep quite.

In principle, player always loose and casino wins in long term. More complex look at gambling makes it really bad method of investing in place, where main purpose of spending money is fun and adrenaline.
145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: February 21, 2016, 11:30:18 AM
Most of my Bitcoin is stored in my trezor wallet. I also keep a small amount of Bitcoin in my coinbase wallet.
Indeed I store my Bitcoins too at an online wallet. I find it so good and it is easy to work, so why not.
Some people dont trust the online wallets, because they say they can be hacked. But it is very secure I think.

Is it really that secure? Afterall, you entrust your money to anonymous person on the intertnet. Also 'hacking' sometimes could mean, that site owner run away with your money and blame it on the "hackers" Wink
146  Other / Off-topic / Re: How would you guys react if you guys lost 10, 000 bitcoin? on: February 16, 2016, 12:17:06 PM
There is no amount of money, that is worth getting mentall illness. So I guess, that I'd try to forget about it or resign myself to this loss. Untill I have job that I am satisfied with, it would be a bit easier I think Wink
147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: February 16, 2016, 12:12:38 PM
So far i don't have big problem with bitcoin, the only one my problem is so long waiting confirmation when i transfer something. Because i'm a gambler and i need fast confirmation.
i think some gambling site doesnt need 1 confirmation for deposit mate ?

You are right - confirmation is not necessary for transaction proceeding. Without confirming it's really fast.
148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: February 11, 2016, 10:46:00 AM
When i first time i thought bitcoin is  just internet token
yes, me too, I first saw bitcoin, I thought it was just a token that is very difficult to get it for free and have to buy an expensive price, but I was wrong about that, and now I consider it a real money

Actually this description fits quite well to bitcoin, for the people who haven't heard about it earlier Wink Tokens are some form of payment mean, just with limited acceptation range.
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: February 11, 2016, 10:41:55 AM
I store my bitcoins in a lot of wallets its the best way to do it.
Its secure and you will not lose all your bitcoins at once.

I also think its better for yourself, you can not spend all your btc.

I do the same thing. I store bitcoin in many wallets. I do that just becasue I do not want other to accidently create a wallet with the same address.

How it could be possible? Blockchain would not allow that. Or just I misunderstood something?  Huh
150  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: February 11, 2016, 10:38:32 AM
Hello guys,

how many of you are earning for living just with bitcoin base projects? If so, can you contribute what do you do?

I earning about 0.2 bitcoin every week for living just with bitcoin. i do signature campaign, twitter campaign, do some service for bitcoins, and join poker freeroll to get free bitcoins.
Where are you from? How to live with this money? Or you have an another job?

0.2 BTC per week is not bad especially if you're living in a third world country and living with your parents. 0.2 BTC for a student is not that bad.

I agree. How much time a day you spend on that activities? Also, how much can you earn from freerolls? I used to play poker few years ago so I am bit curious Smiley
151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Dollar on: February 08, 2016, 07:54:43 PM
Honestly I appreciate bitcoin than dollar, bitcoin is easier value to get money and price is changing you can get some income.Dollar is stable is not a good think.

Yeah people are getting in bitcoin trading only because of its price volatility as dollar is not that volatile and you cannot make quick profits out of it, so if anyone who is looking for quick profits would surely pick bitcoin over gold.

But the short term trading is quite difficult. When I think the price will rise and buy some bitcoin, but it drops instead.
Nowadays short term trade is very beneficial with bitcoin, it is the lucky time of short term trading with bitcoin. All you need to observe the fluctuations in price very carefully, plus try to be patient and wait for the exact time to buy and exact time to sell.
In short Try to learn more you will be successful .

It's a general instruction for trading any asset. You don't have any guarantee of price rising in the future, all the more that bitcoin is very vulnerable to speculation mechanisms.
152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The thing that will destroy Bitcoin. on: February 08, 2016, 07:49:49 PM
This is definetly true. More exchanges and BTC transfers, the more the size will grow. And soon you wont be able to store it on your computer, so something will have to get changed. But it will not be as "decentralised" if any new things like that take place such as one central place where transactions will be stored.

We don't live in 2004 anymore to be worried about 60 or even 600GB disk space. I wonder if there could be any mechanism that would encourage people to set dedicated bitcoin servers (nodes). If it would be economically reasonable (I am not saying about stream of $$$) I'd run one on my own.
153  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: February 08, 2016, 07:43:55 PM
I do plan to go buy it. Because I think it will be worth more. The fact also now has a pretty low price.
So I think if I buy now I can get a profit later. But it is in fact very unpredictable, but the risk should take you.
Yes, it is a better chance to buy it right now, as in this year the price will definitely touch $1000 and will start increasing, so now the price is pretty better to buy some amount of it. I am also collecting all my earnings for the price double up and planning to buy more.

I doubt if halving will cause price rising to 1000$, but the buying hype among the bitcoin community could result is some gain  Roll Eyes
154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Airdrops 1 Million BTC to the Poor on: February 08, 2016, 07:39:40 PM
Well it is an intriguing idea. I for one don't think handing out money to people is a good thing to do. People in need as in charities that could work, but just "poor" people? for doing nothing? You can at least hire them to do something for Bitcoin if that was the case, something very easy and almost symbolic but something.

Great idea - unemployment problems are caused mainly by insufficient private capital in the economy circulation. If some poor people would be asked to do some work for BTC they could gain also some experience. It also doesn't have to be 100% economically justified Smiley
155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if there is nomore coins to mine? on: February 08, 2016, 07:28:06 PM
So I was watching videos on youtube and I came accross to a video regarding the facts about bitcoin. I saw there that every halving the reward block is halve right? And so the rewards that the miner will get will decreased. My question is what will happen to the miners if there will be no more coins to mine? Since there is only a limit on how many bitcoins can be produced, a time will come that mining will put on stop. What will happen to the bitcoin price if then?
When the last coin will be mined, it will be a great moment for all of us! For miners less.. Wink
Miners will earn only from transactions fees. Price, with an increasingly popularity will be growing all the time - in the name of the law of supply and demand.

But beyond the speculation factors, what would be the reason to buying BTC if price will go higher and higher? Every price bubble has its limits.
156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: February 08, 2016, 07:06:44 PM
Trading tip
Avoid coins that are worth 1-2 satoshi per 1 whole coin.
They may duble your btc (buy at 1 satoshi/sell at 2) but that happens very rarely.
Mostly they hang at base value and get you aggravated.
just stay away from shitty or scam coin, so many scam coin out there, they created just to make their owner rich, the best choice is trade reputable coin like ltc, doge or etherum etc
just in my humble opinion

Even if not scam, most of altcoins will perish, as there is no reason for surviving in a market where everyone can make its own coin. Just check sell and buy orders volume - it could tell you something about condition of particular coin.
157  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: February 08, 2016, 07:03:40 PM
There are plenty of reasons to be excited about 2016, The block halving is near meaning most probably the price will move favorably at least in my opinion, allot of interesting bitcoin project are opening and getting crowdfunding, also media coverage and public adoption is increasing.
Late December/early January people were saying that the halving was already priced in yet the price fell. There is just no way to know for sure. I speculate that there will be some artificial pressure to keep the price profitable but profit taking should also play a role. Maybe we will see miners getting unplugged.

I'd rather say, that new generation of mining gear will compensate the reward loss. But if you will not make ROI till halving, you probably will be screwed up.
158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: February 07, 2016, 04:32:13 PM
Of all the crypto currencies available, Bitcoin is the strongest. The only way to keep it stronger is by not allowing it to be controlled by any entity. If banks and governments want to buy it, well and good but they should not be allowed to regulate or control it.

If they decide to regulate every legal way to convert BTC to fiat money, we could do nothing as all changes will be proceeded on the banking system side. This is the real danger to BTC these days.
159  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2020 on: February 07, 2016, 04:26:56 PM
In 2020 we can see either 2 things.
Bitcoin worked and it is mainstream/
It failed and there are no more miners left.

I dont think it must be mainstream (several hundred million users?) or dead, in 2020 we can have similar situation like today and still Bitcoin the most used cryptocurrency.

I dont know about future price, but I believe Bitcoin will remain the most used cryptocurrency in 2020 as well.

True. People are impatient and they expect spectacular effects in short time. Predictions are usually too much optimistic (or just opposite) and fitting their wishes. And you could be right, that maybe destiny of BTC is different than replacing traditional legal tenders, what many people are epecting?
160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should i buy my first whole bitcoin on: February 07, 2016, 04:07:07 PM
To buy bitcoin as a long-term investment must avoid three things:

1. Being impatient as price would not change in some timeframe
2. Panic sell if someday BTC/USD will fall significantly
3. Selling after little price rising, to gather any revenue

It could be summarized as PATIENCE Smiley
