141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Cryptocurrency One Big Ponzi Scheme? on: February 24, 2019, 10:49:09 AM
It is wrong to say that because there had been thousands of cryptocurrency created in just a very small time that they are just creating it to be a ponzi scheme. I do believe that there are scams but it didn't break the real purpose of the cryptocurrency in general. Cryptocurrency was invented to be a utility and people think of it just the same until they knew that they could gain from it. And from this knowledge people created for themselves a volatile market of cryptocurrency. The unrealistic demands due to sudden rise of people holding coin for the purpose of gaining or riches and not for any utility as it should have served people created this volatile environment. Many are then complaining for loses which should not have been if people are wise enough to see that cryptocurrency is not just for holding and gaining but for the purpose so important to better served all of us. Should anybody use it for business then it could have limited volatility or may have had stabilized the cryptocurrency market. For me it's not a scheme, if it is then we are to be blamed because we made it looked likr one due to misusing it to earn money instead of its real utility. Money should have been an indirect goal instead of being primary.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano will destroy Ethereum! on: February 23, 2019, 09:17:05 AM
I think this is possible if the developers would try to make more effort to advertise Cardano and make more utilities for it in the real world. Utility is the most important key for the coin to move up to the currents status of other cryptocurrencies, for example of bitcoin. I have seen that Cardano only had a very little volume to make such a great impact to surpass Ethereum. Volume of usage would be a large factor to consider any coins success. Take a look at the link below and see if Cardano and other cryptocurrency.

143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Union Bank of the Philippines Launching Cryptocurrency ATM on: February 23, 2019, 07:09:06 AM
This is a good idea for Philippines. It is an eye opener and for those who haven't been into cryptocurrency. Philippines is a very small country but people are so open-minded to ideas and technologies which could be beneficial to  the whole country. I would agree to most of the comments that are positive as this could be opening new door ways to the use of cryptocurrency which others might have taken for granted. Philippines is small as it is but bigger in its ideas to engage more on the use of this technologies. Good work Union Bank!
144  Economy / Economics / Re: More Countries Continue To Show Support For Blockchain Technology on: February 23, 2019, 04:39:41 AM
This certainly is good for cryptocurrency. When countries allow or support the blockchain technology, it is always the same as promoting cryptocurrency even if such country wouldn't be advertising so much about it. This will certainly create new demands and market for its usage. This could be just a signal to lit the fire to a new beginning of the cryptocurrency after the unfavorable conditions in the digital market.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will banks disappear because of cryptocurrency? on: February 22, 2019, 02:13:42 PM
I don't think they will. For as long as there is fiat which serves as a reference for the cryptocurrency, they might be able to continue since profit is still there. If everything will turn upside down, for example cryptocurrency will be the main currency and fiat will be less used or conversion to fiat will be less significant, perhaps it will be the time when banks will have to close for fiat. But certainly will operate on cryptocurrency mode. Which could mean that they will be staying for centuries until may be when the whole system and the human existence will be technologically advance to accept no more of any fiat currency. For it will less likely to happen that banks will be gone.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next holder are very fast to panic. on: February 22, 2019, 09:57:20 AM
It certain that they are newbie in terms of investments and they did not prepare as much to know more about the market movements for the digital market. With so much changes in terms of price people who are new are the ones who are easily put to the test and FUDs are often roaming around trying to scare everyone else. I just think sometimes this is just like a part of some bigger games. Some post points to big whales for this but I don't generally think so because sometimes the physical market had so much to do as well with the prices of the cryptocurrency.
147  Economy / Economics / Re: Craig Wright is once again claiming he's Satoshi on: February 22, 2019, 09:18:04 AM
This could be a just a joke or something to stir the public of nonsense claim or could as realistic as it gets. The question that we might be asking next is why did he came out to claim it? Was it about for personal fame or conflicting interest on the ownership? or Was it to serve justice or explanation to his invention as people are really now doing scams riding the popularity of cryptocurrency being started by bitcoin? We would not know unless he could tell everybody about it starting from the very beginning with accuracy and detail.
148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a religion on: February 22, 2019, 08:27:42 AM
Not to offend anybody but the way religion is put into this analogy is quite a bit exaggerated. Religion is more than anything, people die because of faith. Who else would want to die for bitcoin? Religion to many have been something so important and not materialistic on most case except for some may be like when religion is focused on worldly material. Bitcoin is different. It is something not to be regarded as religion, it is technology that people would want to use because of its utility. I think it is a misconception to connect bitcoin belief with religion. Not because you believe on it that you have faith. Religions needs faith not belief alone. Belief is just a matter of accepting the truth. And nobody could ever accept that bitcoin is going down or is a poor investment because they have seen how it made the lives of people comfortable and easy.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC or ETH, what good to own now?? on: February 21, 2019, 02:14:20 PM
Both are good but on my part I have to choose ethereum this is because it is a bit rare in my locality to see good exchanges for it, but it is a good coin as well. Ethereum had been on the top for sometime and I do believe that it will eventually go up strong again.
150  Economy / Economics / Re: LESSONS FROM CRYPTO MARKET on: February 21, 2019, 11:56:31 AM
Greed and Fear are things that worked well when talking about getting to earn money. At the end of the day still it boils down to certain things that you alone have the power to choose between whether to buy or not. Still your experiences works better than just plainly looking at people's fear or perhaps attempting to analyze the Greed that could cause prices and volumes to go up again.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEM Philippines Helps Universities Provide Blockchain Electives on: February 21, 2019, 09:21:15 AM
This is a very good move for the universities of the Philippines mentioned in the post as this would help people learn about the technology. Learning the technology would be very important and this will help create demands for cryptocurrency and will open new movements to it as well. Educating people about cryptocurrency is very important as people who doesn't possess good knowledge will just take things for granted instead of using the technology for their own good and advantage. So this is a great advances for the Filipino people.
152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The big picture they've all been missing on: February 21, 2019, 08:47:50 AM
People would always invent things and I believe that even without bitcoin the chances are cryptocurrency will eventually appear. Games had ecoins and some similar stuff which could eventually lead to the use of cryptocurrency. But on the other hand, we should take note that if it was not because of bitcoin which started the cryptocurrency, it is as well possible that cryptocurrency could not have gone this far. So we should all thank bitcoin and the originator for this like satoshi. For without him the utility that we get out of it will never be realized.
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin puzzle transaction ~32 BTC prize to who solves it on: February 20, 2019, 03:18:47 PM
These addresses could be just random addresses created by the bot who seem to have been programmed by somebody knowledgeable about bitcoin to send to other addresses. This could have been done for recreation or for some purpose like safe keeping the coins from hackers. We will never know until one person will come in and say I have done this! Anyway thank you for your post.
154  Economy / Speculation / Re: A chance for Bitcoin to rise! on: February 20, 2019, 02:18:10 PM
Don't worry we all will have our time for bitcoin to rise. First consideration that I could think that it is possible is the utility of bitcoin. People are aware of it, only a bit afraid to gamble when they saw that bitcoin was going down, but as time goes by it will certainly go back to its usual price and may be even more than that. So may be you can at least keep some strength and give it a bit of patience.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What made you fall in love with crypto? on: February 20, 2019, 09:50:24 AM
On my part actually I have not made a big money on cryptocurrency but out of curiosity, I learned so many things about it and made me realize that the invention was not at all that bad and in fact it was just the best. Utilizing makes me really fell in love with it. Plus I learned it also that there were few of my friends that have made riches out of cryptocurrency, especially bitcoin.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to invest in an ICO? on: February 20, 2019, 08:23:28 AM
Due to possibilities of competition it would be best to see the team members first because they will be the one responsible for the success of the project. There are good ICOs that do not have good exposure due to less actions made by the team as a result it failed. Second to the team members would be the ICO itself.  There are innovative ideas but couldn't just get into a successful market due to some problems with its utility. If the utility for the coin is intended to reach out any sector of the community then it would be best.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make money on cryptocurrency in 2019 on: February 19, 2019, 02:23:08 PM
I have observed that while most people are so afraid on investing on cryptocurrency, I think this is an opportunity that you might use if you are not afraid to gamble on cryptocurrency. Time will definitely come given that we know how cryptocurrency really have made an impact to people's lives and its utility, that it will certainly increase in terms of value. So if you are not afraid to do so then maybe it is time to start trading cryptocurrency and storing it not in terms of price but on volume so that one day if price go up you will be one of the rich people due to cryptocurrency.
158  Economy / Economics / Re: Each country has its own crypto currency! on: February 19, 2019, 11:48:19 AM
I think each country will still have growth. There is not much of a difference of the situation with the idea about money. If money is owned by each country then that would almost be similar to the physical money. I think there will be a kind of currency that could unify all and will stand as a sort of neutral coin, that I think could be played well by bitcoin.
159  Economy / Economics / Re: Another good news for cryptocurrency in the Philippines on: February 19, 2019, 09:19:48 AM
If this is true this could have been a very good example of how one can really benefit from the use of cryptocurrency. I hope this starts as a good model to push others to use or do just the same. Philippines is a small country yet it has never been so full of surprises to see that from such a small country comes the love and acceptance of cryptocurrency.
160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So I told my banker about bitcoin on: February 19, 2019, 08:21:41 AM
As for now, I do believe in the bankers idea of cash not going to die. Eevn with the new technologies still cash or money didn't loose its significance of usage. There are so many cryptocurrency as of now and none of these could claim that cash can be removed and be replaced by anyone of these. The real scenario was that people invested so much on cryptocurrency to earn cash or money, and so how can cash die if this is the whole intention? I could agree on the banker on these points, but who knows what cryptocurrency can do to change the whole monetary system? It is still a possibility but it would take some time. The reaction of the banker should at least prove that not all could easily use bitcoin and that they need more simplifying. Perhaps an easy interface that could lead any user to work on bitcoin transactions. This I think is a good way to attract more users.
