141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in College??? on: April 09, 2018, 07:30:42 PM
In Russia currently they have almost legalized crypto and the government even has plans to make their own crypto, to use instead of the ruble (Russian currency). But nothing specific really. But people in Russia are making big money on investing and speculations. In the "Russian Facebook", called VK, groups which help earn money in crypto are one of the leading ones now. But I guess that happens due to the character of Russian to constantly try to earn something, even if its a few bucks. Onto the topic of studying bitcoins. Yes, there are private studies and different courses about bitcoin and how it is structured. But, as far as I know, it is not raised to such a level to become an official topic to study.
142  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to earn Bitcoin without investing?? on: April 06, 2018, 03:59:46 PM
Well, it depends what are your goals when getting bitcoin. If your goal is just to get extra money, you could do campaigns: they take up max. 10 min a day and can pay quite a stack if you do many at a time, which pay you tokens which could be later on transferred into bitcoin. And instead if you are interested in bitcoin as investment or just keeping your money in bitcoin, you could use Coinbase, physical terminals or other ways for exchanging cash into bitcoin, whcih are all around, so i don't thing it a problem.
143  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beginner in bounty on: March 27, 2018, 10:24:22 AM
Bounty is a quite risky project, and I personally do quite a lot of research before participating in a bounty. Just choose ICOs with huge organic communities and those ones who had been on the market for a while and have multiple successful projects. Nothing difficult, just a bit of research.
144  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Airdrop Guide: What, How and Why on: March 20, 2018, 09:12:18 AM
In my opinion, airdrops have a very low profitability. Most of them are just scams for likes and subscriptions. You need quite a lot of time to do a lot of airdrops and you will have a chance to get paid a very small amount of tokens, which probably won't even be on the exchanges. But of course, as in every place, there are exceptions. But if you want a stable profit, do bounties. Yes, they take a lot of time and require you to do them every day, but at least you will be earning a decent sum and won't be dependent on luck.
145  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie can not Join Bounty Program? on: March 20, 2018, 09:03:53 AM
A newbie can't set signatures (or only very short ones), so there's no point in letting them join signature campaigns. It also encourages account creation spam, so the minimum is usually Junior Member for these two reasons.

Hello, excuse me for disturbing. I'm a newbie with 28 activity points and I have 31 posts. My activity points don't update since yesterday's evening. All of the posts were not spam, over 70 words, one with 350 words. What do I do? I need to rank up to Jr. Member.
146  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Ways To Buy BTC With PayPal on: March 19, 2018, 10:41:29 PM
Most people buying Bitcoin, or Etherium, with real money from PayPal, are most likely to be interested in investing in any kind of cryptocurrency. I personally was hyped up for buying Tron (TRX) and spent hours searching for ways to get bitcoins from scratch. So here is some of my personal experience advises.

There are 2 ways to buy bitcoin with PayPal: public and private sellers. Public ones are the websites where you enter your data and buy bitcoins. They used to be a viable option, but recently (i mean like 7-8 months) this had been restricted and now you have to submit any kind of ID in order for a purchase. But believe me, it is harder than it sounds. If you overcome the fear of giving away your private info, it is just impossible to get yourself approved. I submitted my ID to literally all of the available public sellers (Bitcoin Panda, Coinbase...) and none of them approved. There are some stories about people who got approved, but I believe that was long ago. If you start digging deeper, to the less popular public sellers, you just risk getting yourself scammed, so beware. EDIT: Recently they added a new option, VirVox, but I, unfortunately, have no finances to check that out.

Now onto the private sellers. Services like LocalBitcoin offer you a stack of private sellers who sell hand-to-hand. There is a myth that they do not require verification in the form of ID. I can say the complete opposite: you have to send them the ID, your photo, your photo holding the ID, have a good reputation on the website and sometimes even a trader certificate. You might be better off just trying to use the public ones.

As a conclusion, I can say that it is unexpectedly hard to buy bitcoin at this time, selling might appear easier. You will have a better chance of getting your hand on bitcoins if you find a person, one of your friends maybe, who owns some and is willing to sell. Believe me, he will not refuse. If not, maybe you can find a crypto terminal in your city, there are already some of them around. I just wanna say that this all is my personal experience and yours might be different.

I spent 30 minutes writing this, worth your attention?
147  Other / Beginners & Help / Is mining still viable on GPUs and CPUs? on: March 19, 2018, 07:41:57 PM
Tried mining with my GTX 750ti, but the results were ridiculous. Is it the GPU or is the mining on GPUs dead in general?
148  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to update membership on bitcointalk.org on: March 19, 2018, 06:14:35 PM
how can one become senior member or hero member?

In case of some experienced people coming by my post, how do you get the merit? People say it is a pain to gain.

Wow, thanks for all of this! Btw, on what website can I find the best bounty deals? And are they very time-consuming?
150  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which wallet should i send my bounty rewards to? on: March 19, 2018, 05:50:38 PM
Dear All,

Currently I have a new MEW, Metamask as well as a Nano Ledger.

i am quite confused that even though I tried to link them up in MEW website, all of them leads to a totally different address.

I need to use a ERC20 wallet address for my bounty rewards hence I am trying to be very careful with this so please pardon me.

A) If I am using MEW wallet address, how can I access it without using private key for MEW?

B) Can I say that MetaMask is a totally different wallet which is not linked to MEW and I can use that metamask Wallet address to receive bounty rewards? And I can transfer all current coins stored in MEW to Metamask and ignore the MEW wallet for life?

C) For the Nano Ledger, I see 4-5 address inside it and does it have any link to the current MEW address which I have when i use MEW website to connect to my Nano Ledger?

D) Which should I use for my bounty rewards?

Thanks so much

I personally keep a MyEtherWallet, on which I keep tokens for all campaigns. It again depends where and with who you work and you might want to make a separate one for each campaign, but I personally sell as they appear on the exchange, don't like risk.
151  Other / Meta / Re: Ranking up on: March 19, 2018, 05:45:00 PM
I am a newbie. How can i rank up quickly to jr or higher membership. I continuously posting everyday. But my activity is not being increased. Then what can i do? Actually i don't know the activity counting system.

You have to post thoughtful comments on the forum, not spam. And over time they will turn into activity points.
152  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: confused for wallet ETH on: March 19, 2018, 01:53:50 PM
If you are just a person looking for a personal wallet, MyEtherWallet is perfect for you. But if you are willing to store large amounts, buy a cold (hardware) wallet.

154  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Real Airdrops Identify on: March 19, 2018, 12:22:32 PM
How i know what is the real airdrops among more airdrops? i want to know about this. Because some airdrops do not give free token after their works.

As somebody said before me, it only takes up to 2 minutes, so just try it and see yourself. Don't provide them anything private, only your wallet address.

156  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should I invest in Bitcoin? on: March 19, 2018, 11:39:59 AM
Right now Bitcoin price lower then other time.. what's your opinion??
Should I invest in Bitcoin right now?

Probably now is the best time to invest, if ever. I hope you know the story of the dot-com, which boomed in price and crypto is just a very small percentage of that. There is a theory it will boom too.

158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I earn a lot on Airdrop? on: March 14, 2018, 04:31:55 PM
How can I earn a lot on Airdrop? The topic is very worthwhile and you can earn a lot. Those who are engaged in this, give please standing advice

Airdrops are very easy and can be done in 30-160 seconds. So, as expected, you can not earn a lot from it. I suggest getting engaged with the bounty for more cash. Bounties are like daily airdrops, but you will be getting 150-400$ a month from one bounty, and you can do multiple at a time.
159  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are stakes on: March 14, 2018, 04:17:24 PM
Hi folks, I see alot of bounties defining rewards in stakes. My question is "HOW MANY TOKENS ARE IN ONE STAKE" is it a fix quantity or vary from bounty to bounty. Moreover, why dont all the bounties simply reward in tokens instead of stakes. Huh I found it bit confusing  Roll Eyes

Let's say that I have 5000 followers and you have 300. It is just simply unfair to share the same prize pool. That why there are stakes, which are different prize pools for different tiers of accounts.
160  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: exchange ETH to BTC on: March 14, 2018, 04:08:52 PM
I'm a novice and got around 0.05 ETH on cex.io.  Where can I change ETH to BTC ,Trustworthy and low fee ?

I'd suggest using Binance or such platform as the fees on YoBit are just way too high. Plus YoBit is not that secure, but has much more small altcoins, that why many people use it for pumps
