141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Simple question of anonymity on: December 17, 2014, 01:34:56 PM
You loose your anonymity on the point of buying real goods, cashout or exchange coins using bank transfer or similar. Also It is possible to track you analysing the way you receive first coins.
After you loose anonymity, all your past and further transactions are very trackable.
That is why we open our service. To guard privacy.

Seems it is the time to make TOR version of LocalBitcoins.
143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Making bitcoin convenient on: December 17, 2014, 01:19:33 PM
Is there a concept or startup out there anywhere offering credit based bitcoin purchasing? The credit could be prepaid funds, or verified deposits, or verified funds available, or just based on credit ratings similar to what credit card companies use today.

Point of sale payment would still be a funds push like any other bitcoin payment, but you would have access to funds for reasonably large purchases without having to carry those funds on your phone, tablet, computer, etc. Then, later you just settle up, much like paying off your credit card bill every month. This approach negates the fraud risk of credit cards, while retaining their convenience.
The problem is bitcoins payments are not reversible. If your account in some credit organisation hacked, you loose all your funds and your credit limit. The idea of bitcoin is you and only you control your funds. Use encrypted phone hot wallet with a small amount for everyday payments.
144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How to set up a BTC cold storage wallet? on: December 17, 2014, 01:08:32 PM
You don't even need a technical device to store your cryptos.
All you need is a private and a public key.
That is the right point. If you can store paper wallet securely, you don't need iPad. You may always see the balance using https://blockchain.info

So your steps:
1. Generate paper wallet.
2. Buy bitcoins to the generated address, check at blockchain.info if arrived.
3. Restore wallet after 5 years importing private key using any modern software.

147  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] OneWallet Marketplace, Auction-House & Bitcoin Wallet on: December 17, 2014, 12:35:35 PM
looks nice, but you have to improve your search, use synonym lists, etc.

Could you please add "Schaff Trend Cycle Indicator"? (ScTC or STC)
149  Economy / Services / Re: Up to 0.01 BTC weekly for YOUR SIGNATURE on: December 17, 2014, 12:08:31 PM
I have experienced the same. The payments are indeed automatic but they don't happen at the same time every week. There is a gap of a few hours. Probably they combine a set of payments every few hours.

150  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is Bitcoin Core's method of RNG? on: December 17, 2014, 11:31:21 AM
Is there any plans to add support for user generated seed like the way Truecrypt does.
I have not heard. You may seek for armory plug-in to generate wallet using real dice output.

152  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Is it really necessary to keep bitcoind on separate server? on: December 17, 2014, 11:13:28 AM
If hacker takes control of your web-server, he can send rpc request to your bitcoin server or prepare data for pick up from 'locked down' server.
The best way - to secure your web server. Use encrypted disks for sensitive data like db, bitcoin configs and wallets. Unmount disks, lock wallet on any unautorized access to the server. Send rpc request from dedicated user, not from www.
153  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Advice on service architecture on: December 17, 2014, 10:57:30 AM
I suggest do not use bitcoind with large project like your. Use your own transaction monitor combined with no-sql database.
Bitcoind could probably have problems with 100k+ addresses. And you should do double work - first bitcoind checks transaction, then your own software.
154  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why are most Bitcoin related websites written in python? on: December 17, 2014, 10:40:43 AM
We use php as well. It could be a little hard to develop your own bitcoin client in php. But you may use json rpc to connect to running bitcoid server.
155  Other / Off-topic / Re: Wired: The FBI Used the Web’s Favorite Hacking Tool to Unmask Tor Users on: December 17, 2014, 08:10:42 AM
Seems TOR is transparent for feds, I see how they catch blackmarket owners.
156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: what to prefer ..normal Paper wallet or Blockchain paper cold storage! on: December 17, 2014, 07:39:03 AM
I would suggest fragmented armory paper wallet. To restore the original wallet you need (for example) 3 of 5 fragments. It is cool feature.
157  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Best way to handle multiple accounts (like a bank)? on: December 17, 2014, 01:02:40 AM
In case of "bank" no way than use unique address for every customer. Combined with no-sql-database it should work pretty fast.
158  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Cryptocurrency business-100% readines -a great opportunity to invest/partner on: December 17, 2014, 12:51:36 AM
could you please explain how the profit is generated? do you connected to the exchange? which?
159  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What's the best way to check deposits? How big sites like BTC-e work? on: December 17, 2014, 12:24:23 AM
You may use bitcoind + JSON RPC to generate wallets and check new transactions.
