141  Economy / Gambling / Re: MoneyPot.com -- The Social Gambling Game on: September 26, 2014, 12:14:55 PM
Actually there is one issue and a big one.

I have played with pretty good EV+ as other gamblers cashed out quicly, but my ROI was still very negative, I thought it was just bad luck but I did hundreds and hundreds bets, and still negative ROI.

So I checked and I found out that my bonus had never been paid.

Maybe I am wrong and I don't understand how it's working but my win should be odd*bet + bonus  right?

Bonus is always missing....

My account is marechou, you can check, maybe this bug is only for me....

I don't blame you, the site is pretty new it possible there is some bug, but in this case I would like you cumulate all my bonuses and reimburse me.

Thank you, and good luck with your betting game Wink

1st time I am ready to gamble Wink
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SuperNET - ICO conducted by BTER + ... on: September 24, 2014, 10:45:52 AM
Yes this is strange that coindesk does not talk about supernet, be cause they can have a bad opinion but they cannot ignore it, this is big just by numbers (thread ultra active, huge amount invested, etc...)

So I used to read coindesk, but it seems they are like all big news corporation, (they forget their neutrality...)

So I think I will find an other source of information.
144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a unwanted child, people wants to hold fiat on: September 19, 2014, 03:43:35 PM
It is true that bitpay makes the price lower because of the insta-dump on platform exchange but this is just the 1st step.

This allow people to trust and use more bitcoin, and the more people trust bitcoin, the more they want to hold it.

Then merchant will understand better the bitcoin and start to accept bitcoin when they will be able to pay their bill in bitcoin.

The next step will be the salaries paid in bitcoin.

If all the wealth of the world is in bitcoin 1 bitcoin would worth 10 millions actual $.

For a bitcoin at 500$ it would be a X20.000, I know there is not 50% of odds that bitcoin is mainstream but do you really think with everyything happening in the world the odds are only 1/20.000? So only 0.005% chances it is happening?

I think it is closer somewhere around 1%, just in my opinion.

So if you gamble I would advise you to gamble with 1 bitcoin on a cold wallet Wink

146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SuperNET - ICO conducted by BTER + ... on: September 18, 2014, 10:23:03 PM
Since SuperNET holds 7.245% of NXTventure, does SuperNET now also possess some Atomic shares?

indirectly it does

theoretically the increase in value of the Atomic should ripple through and increase the value of SuperNET.

There are price discrepancies as the assets are not arbitraged in realtime like other markets (yet), so this makes for ways that people can make some trading profits. once all the price discrepancies are smoothed out, then I expect any value increase of a SuperNET indirect holding will boost the valuation.

This effect is clearest with JLH. I keep adding new assets to it, without it paying anything, so this makes is NAV go up. However it is traded in multiple markets and its price is usually lagging the NAV for a while, until the market realizes that it is underpriced. so there is a time lag and for each level of indirection I would assume another lag.

as fast as crypto is, the price movements are actually still quite slow and possible to trade manually

James

Is it a bad idea that supertraders do this arbitrage?

I mean if the price of unity is under the NAV they can buy some unity  and lead the NAV at a higher price because they would use less bitcoin to buy than bitcoin equivalent of unity (true value of the fund) that it represents.

If it is not clear imagine for exemple there is some panic sell from some assetholder :

-Supertraders have a buy order at 95% of the NAV (the value should be always calculated in all the coins of supernet)
-Supertraders buy it with BTC / NXT/ BBR or other coin (maybe the margin should be bigger for coins with less volume trading)
-So the total fund of supernet has decreased but the NAV is higher making all assetholder remaining more rich.
-After it could happen a panic buy so supertraders can sell unity at 105% of NAV.

ps: The value of 95%/105% is just to have an idea of the margin in order to make the exemple more clear but it should be calculated.
147  Economy / Economics / Re: In 10 years, when BTC is mainstream what % of people will own 1 BTC on: September 13, 2014, 11:48:37 PM
1% of world population = 70 millions of people.

There will be 21 millions bitcoin , so more than 1 btc per person for 1% of population is not possible due to something called maths Wink

Ok I think I got it and I vote YES James, just waiting for the option appears in BTER ( I guess the vote will be wagered with the quantity of token we own )

Actually I can't understand how to vote NO on this, because in my mind there is 2 possible situations.

1st case: Everything is a big scam, and if you believe this , then you should not be an investor of supernet...or you're dumb  Roll Eyes

2nd case : What James wants to do with the implementation of his assets  (2000 BTC worth on marketcap / 500 BTC worth of token for him)  is really good on an investor side and show James is very confident with his project.
The bonus reward that James is asking for (5% + 5% if market cap increase a lot) is a little and minimum compensation for the big risk he is taking.
So as you think this whole supernet is something serious (because you are not in 1st case) then it would be stupid in my mind to vote NO.

150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: LottoShares - Dice 0% Edge - 80LTS Airdrop to all DOGE owners on: September 04, 2014, 08:12:00 PM
the price on bter is like shit now Angry

Looks quite good to me. 7080  LTS  (which was the free distribution to several thousand Share and Football coin holders) is worth around $200 at the current bid.

I am still well in profit on the ones I bought a few weeks ago, and of course, the free ones yet to come.

LTS is a novel distribution model, slow-burning, and there should be plenty available in the next year or so. I would look to buy some more below 2000 sats. when the freebies start getting sold..

This is what I meant, the price is already pretty high and I  guess when the 1st mature coins will arrive there will be an increase in the sell order wich will lead to a drop on the price.
The donation is divided in ten times so it should not be a huge dump, so i am also waiting for someting around 2000 satoshis to buy more coins as I love this concept.

But anyway 5000 satoshis will seem ridiculous in few years I hope Smiley
151  Economy / Economics / Re: --- You Are Not Late --- on: September 03, 2014, 01:38:51 PM
There is 7B people on earth for 21 millions max bitcoin, so an average of 0.003 bitcoins per person Smiley

If it's become a common currency like euros or dollar 500$ for 1 whole bitcoin is not that much and it's not more crazy to think that than first investors who bought only an idea, ther was no business related to bitcoin at this time, no advertising, and it was something totally new...
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: LottoShares - Dice 0% Edge - 80LTS Airdrop to all DOGE owners on: September 03, 2014, 08:54:12 AM
Hi free trade,

As I said coinExd seem strongly to be a scam, now after 1 day I still have 0 bitcoin on my balance instead of 0.15 and still no reply from the support, on the thread some people are still waiting since 4 days...
You should remove it from the exchange for LTS/BTC in order to avoid newcomer like me to loose their bitcoin instead of buying LTS.

If there are some donators to refund me a part in LTS, my wallet is on my signature  Smiley

I am not begging for donations, I should have been more carefull but it is still painfull  Cry

Btw when the 1st coin mature will be available for those who will receive more than 7000 coins with a year? (I am not holder of them but I hope for a little dump when it will happen, will be a good time to buy)

Thanks,

I would advise to not trade with coinExd , I sent some bitcoin on it and my balance is still 0 after 20 confirmations + no answer from the support.
It seems I am not the only one in this situation, you can check on the bitcointalk thread of coinExd.

157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: LottoShares - Dice 0% Edge - 80LTS Airdrop to all DOGE owners on: August 31, 2014, 09:27:58 AM
It's been a long time I am thinking about a similar coin but as I don't have IT Knowledge, I have never did it.
So I have invested some bitcoin in this awesome project.

The distribution is pretty good even if I think giving 7080 coins to some holder of other coin is too much, at the current price (5500 satoshis) it is almost 0.4 bitcoin so roughly 200$ ), I have the feeling lot of people gonna dump the coin at this price.

For dogecoin holder it is 80 LTS so 88 times less, a pretty big gap in my mind.

By the way when the first mature coin will be spendable?

Anyway this coin is still really good in my mind even if I don't expect a rise in the price until all coins are mature, it's a long term investment.

I think an other game could be inside the wallet, a ponzi game with 0% housedge would be awesome like http://ponzidoge.com/ what do you think about that?
The only housedge would be the person not totally filled by previous senders (this person would get 0 LTS instead of 75% of his investment for exemple)

About the giveaway for bitcointalk users how does  it work? A bounty campaign if we put LTS in our signature would be nice isn't it?

My wallet adress is LckXBvejLEHivBbKdJ7RH3A2mkALgyUWkL

How much bitcoin you need to launch your project? What if you get only 1 or 2 bitcoin? Will you be able to run the project?
If I want to send some bitcoin I send you directly to the wallet and tell you on bitcointalk the amount I have sent?
Then when the coin will be ready you will send me the coins?

Thanks

I hold some LOL and I believe it's a very good coin but I disagree on 1 point, the fees of 5%.

If you are doing that, you have nothing better than any other dev who is doing e-sport bet with bitcoin, it is just worst cause LOL coin is far behind bitcoin, we have to admit that.

So to avoid any competitor who would like to do e-sports betting you should put 0% fees.
I understand you want to make money + there is server cost + time spent, but if you believe in your coin you should have tons of LOL coins.

So if you want to be the only one used for LOL bets just don't put any fees and then you will become THE coin for LOL cause no one will make a website in bitcoin for 0% fees, for you it is different you are a big bag holder of LOL coin (I hope so ), so if the coin get a high value you can sell regularly few to get paid and you will find other way to get money in the future with LOL coin.

So what is better? get 5% on few bets  wothless or doing bets without fees but have a coin with huge value?

I know I am exagerating the whole thing a bit but there is something true in my words.

So what do you think about this?

No problem, starts from 7/12 GGWP.CO will be 0% fee for 1 month, and with 0.5% fee after that. Let me know what you think Smiley

It's much better, thanks to be positive to your community, gj  devs Wink
