141  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Excessive confidence in cryptocurrency trading. on: December 14, 2019, 10:47:21 AM
Too much of everything is bad, so definitely being too confident will earn you losses quickly: you'll hold positions you should get out of because you'll feel the market will move in your favour, chances are you'll become reckless and that can never be a good thing in the highly volative crypto market.
This is a simple rule of nature that even excess of love makes you feel suffocated. Excess of confidence makes you overconfident which is a sure sign of your doom in any profession. Often with overconfidence you ignore minor details and take wrong decisions. I believe that we shall never become damn confident about crypto coins that we are betting with because the market is volatile and your coin start going down anytime.
142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real reasons to Why do you gamble? on: December 14, 2019, 09:48:59 AM
Maybe it's asked before, still, it will help us a lot.

Why do you gamble?

for me, betting is the same as going after the big draw we can get

many people make gambling only limited to entertainment that can produce profits or just the same he goes gambling just looking for fun, if he is lucky then he can produce the big win he will get.
whatever our motive in playing gamble, the most valuable is when we are enjoying and happy because if this thing is not in you, then there is a problem and you might get hooked badly sooner.try to find the true essence and not just because of Money.
Those who simply gamble for money are the ones who really suffer from severe consequences of greed and addiction. As you said we need to understand the real motives we have behind gambling. If we are gambling simply to make money then we need to reconsider our aims because gambling is not the most appropriate means of making money. This game though involves money but shall not be played for money.
143  Economy / Economics / Re: stupidity is so close to poverty on: December 14, 2019, 08:26:50 AM
The answer is partially yes because stupid people can make inherit money/properties/assets or win a lottery but there are 99% chances that the money shall soon leave them or they shall soon loose all the money to the wiser  folks.

Nowadays, a large majority of the billionaires are those who inherited their wealth. Examples range from Mohammad bin Salman of Saudi Arabia and Gina Reinhart of Australia to the current president of the United States (Donald Trump). A few such as Mark Zuckerberg and Sergey Brin have managed to make a fortune for themselves. But the number of such individuals are not increasing.
Rich people in today’s world are usually the ones who have inherited wealth from their ancestors and few of them you have mentioned already. Self made billionaires are also great in number like CEO of facebook, CEO of Amazon etc. the reason why we don’t see more successful people now a day is that the competition has increased to maniac level. Those who have ideas don’t have resources usually.
144  Economy / Economics / Re: what makes us good investors. on: December 14, 2019, 07:51:13 AM
It's obvious that investing in the cryptocurrency world is in need of trust and science.
If we have no knowledge of any of the coins that we are interested in for our definite investment will be carried away emotionally when the price is down and the result is certainly we will hurry to sell it.
But it can be prevented if we have the knowledge and belief that the coin in the future will have a fantastic price.
just having faith doesn't seem enough, if you invest in a project for a long term,
I think you will panic if the price of the coin continues to fall, many projects like that, for example waves, npxs, and dent

It's really not enough, if 'faith is only the solution to every problem, then we will just wish and wish and pray then for sure that there is no rich or poor people now, so we should not tell this to people, we should ACT always and work for our dream, let's dream little by little and focus on it as we cannot achieve something if we don't exert our effort and won't focus on it.
Faith is not the major ingredient for achieving your dreams rather it is needed when you are working hard to achieve your dreams. Your stance of dreaming little at first and then gradually start dreaming about big things is something that is followed by everyone who wants to be a successful person. Besides this I strongly believe that one needs to work hard and put all efforts in order to stand out of the crowd.
145  Economy / Economics / Re: How do manage portfolio efficiently while having a full time job? on: December 12, 2019, 07:08:23 PM
I just got myself a new laptop, thinking that it would be a good investment if I carry it around work, so during the down time I can come here. Keep me more active in the crypto world.
This is the key to make good money in the crypto market. the more you spend time in the market, the more you learn about it and the more knowledge you have the more chances you have of buying right crypto currency on right time and selling it off when the rates are high to secure decent profit. If your laptop is not big in size, then do carry it with you during work and when you are free, visit your profile.
146  Economy / Economics / Re: Who is the richest person? on: December 12, 2019, 02:28:37 PM
Satoshi if still surviving could be another most riches person in the world. Satoshi allegedly holds 1 million bitcoin which are about $72 billions at current price that comes along the money richest persons have. Imagine the moment bitcoin doubles, Satoshi would be the most richest person in the world.

How did you got to the calculation of $72 billion? Satoshi's wallets contain a total of BTC980,000. As per the current exchange rates, his stash will be worth $7.1 billion. But that is not all. We are forgetting about all the forked coins, such as BCH, BTG and BTD. His Bitcoin Cash horde will be worth at least $200 million. Bitcoin Gold has gone down in value recently, but even then if he claims the BTG coins, then his stash will be worth another $5.5 million, which is not a small amount.
Maybe when richest person want to invest and promote bitcoin I think bitcoin will have higher price, but until today no one richest person interested by investing with bitcoin and altcoin, there no expert blockchain talk about how bitcoin working to them and make richest person look busy with their business and never try to adopt bitcoin as their investing for the future.
This is not fair to state that richest people are not interested in bitcoin or blockchain technology. Rich people must be aware of this technology and somehow linked with it. Even facebook CEO launched his own crypto coin which clearly shows the interest of billionaires in this technology. Rich people are the ones who need decentralized system the most so that they can have all control over money.
147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with Fiat or Crypto? on: December 12, 2019, 02:06:23 PM
i would like to gambling with crypto, because your earning can change anytime if the crypto going up,
so my favourite betting is bitcoin ofcourse Cheesy
Gambling is the fastest growing industry right now and people who are involved in crypto are going to be future rulers of the world monetarily. Crypto is future currency and gambling is an easy way to earn it. Gambling with bitcoin can make you rich in small time if you know when to stop and when to jump into betting game. Nothing could be more satisfying than winning some proportions of bitcoin.
148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Social experiments in the world of gambling on: December 12, 2019, 01:39:55 PM
Confusing question.
If I understand it the way you stated it, you mean if someone used all his funds in gambling and then happens to ask me for some help.
At first, I will question him on why he went gambling when he knew that was his last funds.
It's not about been able to show sympathy or so, anyone who is gambling should be able to answer or be responsible for their actions.
I will have somewhat same kind of attitude towards him. The issue is not in helping him; real issue is that he is going to again use money in gambling. This person does not need monetary help; he or she needs some psychological help in regard of overcoming gambling addiction. We need to guide him or her towards some other game which is actually nice and helps him or her in developing some healthy habits.
149  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you holding Bitcoin? on: December 12, 2019, 01:23:41 PM
Holding random crypto coins is not a good decision anymore. Whoever holds many coins, they suffered a lot and lost a huge amount of money. But holding Bitcoin still the best decision! Trading, mining, bounties are not for everyone but everyone can hold, which is easy and work free. Buying bitcoin at the present price and holding will be a perfect movement. I am holding a low amount of Bitcoin and Ether, I believe both coins will rock in 2020!
Yeah good for holding many altcoin kinds in your wallet but never choose with shit coin become your investment assets holding for the future, bitcoin I can't keep holding because I don't have enough money but I save with several altcoin in my wallet more than one year, I am waiting when my altcoin asset go to higher price and take profit again with my altcoin investing.
Choosing those shitcoins was wasting time for us must better to avoid those kind of coins before it to late or not holding and remove them from a portfolio you have. We dont need money to get bitcoin just try get those in bounty or trade some of your altcoins you have. Ill think those kind of altcoins you have are more potential than I expected even do I did not see your altcoins I feel that those are from a top altcoins you choose to invest in.
Choosing small volume altcoin is not really bad if we just hold it less than 5% of our portofolio but an alt with potential to grow. I've collected STM coin it was no value at the market for almost 1 year but i never remove it, and lately i sold my whole stm and worth almost 2 eth
It has never been a bad idea to keep small percentage of altcoins in your wallet but as you said, one simply needs to be careful about the type of altcoin you are keeping. This is great that you kept them for a year and sold them off with a profit. I personally believe going with famous altcoins or the ones that have good history of generating profits. Maximum percentage shall be off bitcoin paired with few good altcoins.
150  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoins or Bitcoin? on: December 10, 2019, 05:47:50 PM
I should have kept everything in Bitcoin but some projects made me fascinated about them and put part of my BTC into them and hodling them all now. Hopefully, they will grow with time and my investments will yield. If there was an option to go back then I would never give away my bitcoin for alts.
Exactly beta coin to invest your money as long as you can. The more you buy bitcoin so it will make a profit for you. Right now the best time to have some bitcoins as after a few years it will be double in price then it will be lost.  Altcoins  good but only ETH for me is the good coin after bitcoin to invest our money as with few patients we will gain profit
Bitcoin is the most loved coin in the crypto market and people are really crazy about it for its tendency to reach unexpected and unbelievable prices. There is no doubt that the more number of bitcoin you have, the more chances you have of huge profits in the future. Well among altcoins, ethereum behaves like bitcoin and it is never a bad combination to have both bitcoin and ethereum in wallet for big money.
151  Economy / Economics / Re: Does China Control Bitcoin? on: December 10, 2019, 05:31:32 PM

We cannot remove the fact that China had the major contribution regards with Bitcoin mining and I admit as well that they have big impact in this industry but I don't think they have the full control on Bitcoin. Perhaps you we are all aware that no one can manipulate Bitcoin because if it does then we cannot say it as decentralized.
It is true China is one of the leading countries when it comes to bitcoin mining for once it mined almost 3/4 of the bitcoin in a month and even affected the stability of bitcoin's price. The cause of this centralized mining in China is the cheap electricity rates but these past few months China are being rude to their miners attacking then about the e-waste that bitcoin mining produced.

As far as I know, Bitcoin is not banned in the said country but rather the exchanges related with crypto. Bitcoin mining is still widely processed in China so we cannot totally say that it is prohibited. They may use their own digital currency but it won't overthrow Bitcoin in any other way.
Actually they are not against bitcoin, in fact they are handling it a good way but there are just exchanges whose being illegal that involves in various scams and fraud in the country so China decided to take it down. I guess they are initiating these matters to fully clean their country and start with a their own blockchain and digital currency.
In advance country with the best technologies is against Bitcoin or any other digital coin. Only these people understand the true power of bitcoin. However, no one can deny that decentralized crypto currencies have opened ways for common people to hide their assets from governments. This eventually threatens the control of authorities. China intended to control bitcoin but failed. It does not hate it, but just scare of it.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think crypto world needs... on: December 10, 2019, 05:14:56 PM
What is in need of Crypto now is an innovation that does not exist today. Because at the time of ICO Jaya, the same project release only aims for market listings and sell all their products to the market that makes the project die because the investors used to be just hit and run. I think we need a project that has innovations and benefits to the real world so that crypto can be in good legal and well by others.

Agree that the new project needs to bring a new business perspective on the cryptocurrency market. Nowadays many coins have the same project as the others and this will make the same coin be eliminated by the competition. By bringing new business to the cryptocurrency market, investors will try to invest in new projects and I think this is good for ICO development

Well i would not like to support ICO's anymore as there were many scams and false promises in the past. I would like to encourage more self-funded projects that are perspective and work hard day in night in order to suceed.
resulting in more and greater emergence of gains. This is the hope and desire of the Cryptocurrency world.
This situation is supported by many fans ' wishes for the many advantages to be achieved. So in the world the desired Cryptocurrency is to bring up a real well-realized project project in order to make an extraordinary profit.
No doubt that people basically join the digital coin market to make profit. If we look at the bitcoin in this aspect, it has been the best asset that helped people in improving their financial standards drastically over a short time of period. We already have the best with us and do not need new projects to give us the opportunity of gaining huge amounts. All we need to do is support bitcoin.
153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with Fiat or Crypto? on: December 10, 2019, 04:58:44 PM
It depends to the person what they think is the best to use in gambling is either crypto or fiat but for me what ever we used as long as we win in our playing that is good . But for sure after we play gambling using crypto once we win for sure we will convert to fiat. But for me I wsnt to play gambling by using cryptocurrency because Im big fan of cryptocurrency and it's look like we use chips and then after we play we convert into our fiat which is the money. Im not suprised if most players choose crypto because obviously we are are in crypto community.
The choice of crypto or fiat depends on many factors such as the availability of land casinos and good security in them. In most of the states where land casinos are banned by state, people go for online gambling which is mostly played with the help of cryptocurrencies. Indeed it is not surprising to see people gambling with cryptocurrencies because they simply want to earn digital currencies easily.
154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for increasing and decreasing money on: December 10, 2019, 04:29:33 PM
I don't that he was trying to say is that gambling is the best way to spend money but it could be the fastest way to spend money.
I just read in the newspaper that a certain person won the jackpot price for about 14 million( Philippine money) but he got lost it less than a year. The bad thing is that he's totally out of control and because of greediness he put bets in large amounts and lose.

The fault there is that, he already won from the house, he got the prize but still he play, and every business will not allow that to happen, they will do everything they can to take back the losses. And the lesson there, if you really want to earn money, earn from gambling, if you won, then save it. Do not bet it again, bet only money you get from your other assets.
This is one of the most fundamental mistakes committed by majority of the gamblers. They shall understand that the house is not happy when they win huge money. House wants their money back at all costs and the easiest way for them is to make the winner play again. House has the capacity to make changes in a way that the winner always losses. We shall play fixed number of games every day.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL&CALM on: December 09, 2019, 04:36:07 PM
Holding a garbage coin or token for a long time is not a good idea. If you are trying to achieve a big goal you should invest in a good quality project and hold them for the right moments. Crypto is a very promising place to invest you just need to select the right project and be clam because the price will rise in time if project is strong.

In terms of shitcoins, let's check their community, their roadmap, or their platform if it has really a development, if there's no development at all then it is time for us to move on and let's find other ways for us to be able to make money and not just ranting and crying in some place that our holdings did not met our expectation, we should stand up and let's find other ways. There's a lot out there that are worth holding at.
The better approach would be to hold a potential coin like bitcoin or ethereum first and then try to check out from the new ones. This way at least the investor won’t lose time by wasting in holding lame coins. After all, the main purpose of joining the digital coin market is to have a secure future, not to test the new projects. The amount that is spending on weakling should also be a small one.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your take? on: December 09, 2019, 03:38:18 PM
Today's crypto prices are mostly bad. I think you are right, but other than that because the project is dead or has no future ... so the price is low
- I still support investment in crypto. but only for good crypto such as ethereum, bitcoin, bnb, and a few others.
- my portfolio is good. it really gives me profit. you need to know, I started crypto without funds.
- for investors use your funds in coins with a future (Top 10 coins in coinmarketcap.)
The market is just having another dip which is not a new thing at all. This is normal when the assets hold a fluctuating nature. Sooner or later, everyone will be witnessing a rise. People who are holding these coins at the moment will definitely earn huge amounts in the future. All those who want to join this market must start with bitcoin. That should be the number one priority. Good to see that you hold some potential coins.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: waiting for altcoin season might take time on: December 09, 2019, 03:07:06 PM
Yes of course waiting for the altcoin season we have to wait for a fairly long time, because the movement of altcoin is very slow this year, everyone needs an extra process so that the altcoin season occurs, seeing from the price movement soon the altcoin season will soon arrive in the near future
I am waiting for the altcoin season to be able to make a good profit from this market because currently this is the only way to make me richer when participating. In fact, a lot of cheap coins are available in this market and this is an opportunity not to be missed when investing. Of course, you also need to do some research before making a decision because the current market is still very volatile.
Then you must keep an eye on bitcoin because the prices of all altcoins depend on bitcoin. You might come across few altcoins that at some point show opposite behavior than bitcoin but eventually depend on it for all sorts of fluctuations. Once bitcoin will start gaining value, that it is about too soon, all the altcoins are going to do the same. So good days are coming and now is the time to participate more by investing more in good coins.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ideas - dead cryptos on: December 09, 2019, 02:41:03 PM
You can revive a project if you find a new developer for it and create a marketing plan and organize exchange listings, but all this requires some initial outlay of capital so you'll need to have that at hand before you seek out the resources required to re-launch an old cryptocurrency that is no longer actively being developed
it is not easy to find new sources of funding for developing dead projects. moreover the project has been successful in gaining the trust of investors, of course it will be even more difficult. therefore many developers choose to leave the project and create another new project
If some project has died then it is better to not try to bring the dead back because it won give any benefit. So the best approach is to either start a new project or never let your hardly created project die. Both are possible. For someone with experience, it won’t be much of a task to plan starting a new project. At last, developers should not switch on to new projects just because they can’t keep up with old one.
159  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if the all countries convert to cryptocurrency? on: December 09, 2019, 02:08:59 PM
Nothing would happen because that is utopia. Situation where all countries adopt Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies and abandon fiat money is impossible.
We are very far away from mass adoption that has too many obstacles like lack of knowledge and education about cryptocurrencies, lack of internet connectivity, lack of regulation. There are still people in the world that live without electricity and internet for them is just a dream.
Also, countries and economies can't function based on cryptocurrencies, they are not adequate for that role.
The world is moving towards an era of pure digital currencies. We have already entered into that by the invention of bitcoin and the experiment was not a failure even in the least. Bitcoin has been a blockbuster, a superstar since its beginning. By looking at its present market cap and support, it would become easier to judge the future. All the countries will be releasing their own digital coins too.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Opinions about quitting mining on: December 08, 2019, 05:49:34 PM
Mining is not profitable on old rigs anymore unfortunatly, your decision is right
Mining is the most profitable and reliable method of making money in digital coin market. For those people who have doubts regarding this technique, they can Google the monthly earning of miners. The amount obviously depends on the coin being mined too. The thing that keeps people away from adopting this profession is the initial amount required to set up mining machines. That is a bit costly so trading is preferred.
