Escrow only works in very situational scam attempts where the seller insists that you send PayPal first. He'll then delay sending you your BTC (he actually has no intention of sending them at all) while he offloads your PayPal payment onto a VCC where he can then cash out. Escrow will not protect the BTC seller against charge backs. What's a VCC? So basically the worry is that I'll cancel the payment or whatever? Is there any way I can buy BTC with PayPal other than Virwox? |

A potential deal to merge ShadowCash with Darkcoin was being discussed privately by the developers of both coins. A document with details of the proposal was leaked. Evan then formally put the idea on the table for the Darkcoin community. Many were against the idea, so Evan made the decision not to go ahead with it. Buying drugs with Darkcoin on the dark markets will go to air on FOX News in Texas tonight. It is rumoured that OKCoin will be listing DRK soon. Evan succesfully performed an InstanTx transaction in about 2 seconds in testing. Hopefully a testnet version will be released soon. Thanks! FOX?! DAMN! |

Has there been talk of reducing the number of coins for a masternode? I would love to be able to run one or two!
On DCT the discussion considered reducing the number of coins, but the consensus was it would not benefit the security of the masternode network. An alternate suggestion was made to allow pooling of DRK such that several people could trustlessly use their DRK together to run a masternode. Evan said he would look into supporting this. It will open up the coin to smaller investors who are interested but don't have the scratch to pick up 1k DRK. Thanks, sounds interesting. |
