141  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: February 20, 2016, 02:20:39 AM
Hopefully bitcoins price will rise, my plan as of now if just to have an earnings with btc with campaign signature, since I don't have budget to put up a small business. I will also try to sell my services as well. But I'm lazy about it haha, as long as there is a progress on your wallet then it is fine and just keep saving btc and when price rises, go sell your btc's.
btc price will rise this year but not to the level that will make many here rich and highly unlikley not to 5k in the coming years. You need to have more in mind than having small earnings from signature campaign. If you're lazy about it then you have no hope and that is not funny but sad times. Op lets wait and see if the guy in chat has the right idea,100btc at 5k would be enough in a 3rd world so good luck to him.
142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: February 20, 2016, 12:36:09 AM
I've lost over 10BTC in the past three months, and let me tell you. Stopping isn't as easy as you might think. I don't know why I keep doing it but I do. And the result is always the same.
Net Profit: - 5.500BTC
Sometimes I play Black Jack, sometimes I play Dice. Most of the time it's dice, and that's basically where I lose all my money. Nothing ever works. Martingale: Nope. Reverse Martingale: Nope. All in 80-90%: Nope. Spamming 97% win chance: Nope. I wish I could stop lol

There is onl ONE strategy that works. LUCKY STRIKE!  Grin
I used to believe martingale is good, and always I prefer not to talk about why this was so wrong.
Ouch 10btc in 3 months  Undecided Gambling is as easy as you make it to stop.i have gambled on and off for over ten years not once have i had problems with stopping. if you believed martingale was good then no wonder you dont want to talk about how you was wrong. There is no free method in gambling nor winning strategy for 99% of people the sooner people realize that the sooner they would be able to easily walk away from gambling.
143  Other / Off-topic / Re: How would you guys react if you guys lost 10, 000 bitcoin? on: February 20, 2016, 12:21:35 AM
If i had 10k btc to lose at once that would mean i had probably 100k safe, so losing 10k btc would be a pain in the ass but not the end of the world. i would feel the same as if i lose a few btc from my holdings now. Not great but would move on ok enough.
lets see, 10,000 bitcoins at todays rate is about $420,000. so if i somehow had and lost that much. i would be pretty damn upset. but i wudnt let that happen. if i owned that much money, i would be smart enough to make sure its safe.
You should probably go back to school for math. its 10x that  Undecided
144  Other / Archival / Re: Negative trust... But really? on: February 20, 2016, 12:05:10 AM
Check my profile for the - trust. Yeah, I know, there's always that one guy who's different from the bunch. "I don't think that's funny". It wasn't supposed to be a scam. I assumed everybody would read the whole post. :/.So... What now? I've never gotten + once in my life.

Yep, no one seems to like ponzis (even legit ones).

You should really have known this before posting because Mexxer-2 and Vod love to neg rep people for making ponzis (even if they are legit).

I find it rather strange, probably they lost a lot on ponzis when stating out as it doesn't really help the communify wen someone makes a legitimate ponzi and are givn neg rep.

i would not normally post here but i have to ask when has there ever been a legit ponzi? Please pm me it as it is obviously still going after years. They rep them because they are not silly enough to believe you can get an indefinite legit ponzi they all collapse and scam in the end. Joke or no joke that thread was not the best thing to create in the first place, you probably should have been warned to close the thread buy what is done is done. Maybe if you're good in will be changed to neutral  Tongue
145  Economy / Speculation / Re: Poll: What year will we hit $100,000? on: February 10, 2016, 03:05:13 AM
by 2021, i'd be surprised if the price passed the $50,000 mark...

2021 is just 5 years away from now. I don't think we'll even see the price touch $5000 within 5 years, let alone $50,000 as that is simply not a realistic price to happen in a matter of some years.

There was people thinking Btc would never reach $1,$5, $10 then $50, $100, $200 $500, $1000. My point obviously surprises can and will happen. Personally i dont think it will reach 100k because my financial luck has never been great so i cant see a simple investment of a few k turning me in to a millionaire. If it does reach it like a few others have said times would be very bad for the economy and the $ would be pretty much worthless. im happy where it is now to be honest.
146  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: February 10, 2016, 12:20:45 AM
I chose bitcoin which I think is more simple Shocked

Btc is more simple compared to gold? I have never heard that one before, it must have just been me having to study what Btc was for weeks when i first started. Gold was an easy process of handing over paper and receiving my coins, bracelet and missus ring. The gambler in me would choose Btc because of the ease in which i could hide my savings. Try save thousands in gold and maybe travel if needed. It is hard to be your own bank holding gold but Btc on the other hand? Easy easy once you know what you are doing.

Its asked to recommend decent pokersites to play against people not against the house as most casinos offer poker against the house, do you have pvp texas holdem? He is not asking for blackjack  Huh. I can only recommend where i have played and had good experiences. SWC and Betcoin.ag they both have a reasonable amount of players at their sites, nowhere near fiat sites but in future i am sure Btc poker will catch on due to the ease and anonymity it provides its customers.

and can you tell us poker on android with bitcoin? did any of these sites has android app?
Hopefully SWC will bring one out this year, not sure about BC.ag. luckyflop is playable from phone without download but it lacks players.
148  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: February 09, 2016, 11:17:37 PM
You should not sell your bitcoins at all.
This is because the bitcoin is the future of all currency's.
Also the bitcoin will rise soon or later to a high price.

If you believe there is going to be a bit of chaos in the next few months it will be a good time to sell some of your stash to short the market, risky but will more than likely pay off as there is bound to be a shake before the great halving pump that everyone is expecting. Btc is not going to be the future of all currencies but hopefully it will live a longside the currencies of the future. To answer op i will only sell in the attempt to earn more, sooner or later your scenario will happen and it will not be worth selling Btc for worthless inflated fiat.
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did anyone buy during $1200? on: February 09, 2016, 08:07:12 PM
i think nobody bought but if anyone did he must be proud of him self
Where would you get that nobody brought in around the $1k price? Not all the volume was fake and many would have brought in for 1k and more. Not sure why anyone would be proud of themselves for buying in at the price.
150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 09, 2016, 07:07:49 PM
today's match will be fun to watch , both teams are good and West Ham proved to be great especially in home games
I'm confused about this match , but I think I will go for both teams to score
both teams need to score tonight , if Liverpool scored first this match will be really fun

It will be a good game to watch. I prefer West Ham but this game is one of the hardest to predict so you are not the only one that is confused by it. I am that confused my bet has had to be either away or home, odds of just 1.4 but i feel more confident maybe winning a little than predicting a single team this time around. If i was to bet with someone elses money id go with West Ham due to their home performances.
151  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best Price on Buying Bitcoin? on: February 09, 2016, 06:11:55 PM
The only advice i can add to this is that you should only buy what you can afford to lose and not listen to anyone who says it is the greatest time to buy because the halving is coming etc. My personal ways of doing it is to buy small whenever i get spare money that i cant do much else with. It all adds up and the price begins to matter less as it is spare money that has been invested.

153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: February 08, 2016, 12:26:04 AM
Yes it is.... One of the main uses for BTC at the moment is obviously for buying drugs.
I think the biggest use for it is gambling and trading but the fact is we need to accept that btc is here to stay and what gave it its foot hold was the darknet. Good or bad it has helped it get where it is today. I am only here because of a documentary that was basically saying how bad it was because people was buying illegal things with it. So what? The world is not a hunky dory place and the little impact btc has on illegal is almost funny. Its tiny in the schemes of things isnt it?
154  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bankroll management - Don't go bust all the time on: February 07, 2016, 11:50:20 PM
Thanks for this thread.

I don't think it's possible to earn on the long trend in gambling anyway, but it's cool to see an interesting thread in the gambling section.
An interesting and helping post. Better than the usual "how can you win".

Yes it is a nice thought through thread and very welcomed. It certainly is possible to earn long term by gambling but if your playing the casino house you are very unlikely to but this helps minimizing losses for your entertainment. If proper bankroll management is used with sports and poker then with knowledge and skill you can do ok.
155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any advantages from gambling? on: February 07, 2016, 11:32:52 PM
Money! And money buys stuff! Do we even need to go further? Cheesy
But did you actually earn the money or lose it ?
I think it's wrong to use gambling as mean of gaining cash as you know the house always has the advantages in the end Tongue
Though if being used as entertaiment/funp purposes it's completely fine
P.s don't get addicted too much Tongue
Money is an advantage but more times than not you will lose money so you wont be able to buy things, or at least to the value that you could before gambling. It is not wrong to use gambling as a means to gaining some cash, that is what gambling is. It is wrong when you have that as your only means to try and gain monies. Unless you are a strong minded person who is improving self discipline and bankroll management, I cant see any advantages from gambling and scanning through the thread has not changed my mind.
156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 07, 2016, 12:35:04 PM
Chelsea and Man U would be a great match to watch but very hard to predict. I think the most decent one would be the over in goal spread but even that is hard to choose since there offenses are doing bad currently.

I dont typically like either team this season but i agree it will be a good game. It isnt an easy one to predict that is for sure, i have gone with United this game. To me they are very closely matched but United have very good odds so i will back them this game.
157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: February 07, 2016, 07:42:01 AM
lately I never use bitcoin I get, I just put it in two different wallets, one in blockchain and the other in c-CEX, I hope it will always be safe  Smiley

Online wallets like block chain or coinbase are safe only but still hackers are scamming in online wallets. Better you would go ahead with offline wallets, paper or cold storage to keep it safe.
That is the thing i know online wallets can be unsafe but i have had a small amount in blockchain.info since i started here. I say small but we are talking a couple of btc. If you have just a small amount then as you say they are safe enough. When you get to 5 and above btc that is when send to cold storage just to be sure. If you have good security and dont surf and download from dodgy sites all will be ok. I only leave on exchanges what i could lose, they could run at anytime Sad
158  Economy / Auctions / Re: Firesale! Hero account with 600+ activity. 0.1 starting bid. on: February 07, 2016, 07:23:43 AM
For the price i will have a spare account around the same rank.  0.1075 as you said escrow will be used if i win Smiley
159  Economy / Speculation / Re: If the US dollar crashed, would it affect bitcoin in any way? on: February 07, 2016, 06:47:18 AM
I don't think it will affect bitcoins in any major way because bitcoin is like gold and the price might increase when a crash happens.

You cannot take away a big part of the market valuation and expect it not to crash at least for a short term, there would be no chance of an increase until China was fearful that they was next and put all there money in btc. The most likely event would be the real gold would rocket with the smart money being invested. Lets hope the dollar stays around for awhile longer which ihave no doubt it will.
160  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 02, 2016, 10:01:58 PM
Arsenal has got 2 points only in the last 3 EPL games and Southampton has won 3 games in a row. I think Southampton +0.5 @ 2.192 is worth the risk and thus will bet on it.

The Arsenal vs Southampton game ends as a goalless draw, though Arsenal has a lot more ball possession, shots and scoring chances. Smiley

That was disastrous for my parlay bet. The only team that let me down was the one i was most sure about. Never mind.
