146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts about Bitcoin adoption on: January 06, 2020, 07:24:06 PM
I think that if we talk about mass adoption, it should mean that Bitcoin is largely recognized as a payment method.
Mass adoption of Bitcoin is not only that Bitcoin is recognized as a payment method or digital money but mass adoption has to do with the entire world understands and knows what exactly bitcoin is and the benefits attached to it. People need to know and understand what bitcoin is to avoid unnecessary scams.
147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee backs out of his $1 million bitcoin prediction on: January 06, 2020, 04:29:33 PM
John McAfee has always been making these insane predictions i believe just to kick in some FOMO but does not work anytime he makes these speculations. One thing i don't understand is why he gets all angry in his claims and starts to insult people when they don't go with his predictions. I mean we are in a decentralized world and if he really values that then i guess he should appreciate the speculations of others also.
148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Bullish Bitcoin Facts on: January 06, 2020, 02:27:32 PM
All these upcoming news and developments are really inspiring to the blockchain industry but i don't want us to put our hopes in them for an imminent bull run because the negative sentiments about blockchain industry in general is way up than all these good news. This wards off individual and institutional investors whose entry into this crypto industry is likely to spark of a bull run. However, let's not give up hope and hodl!
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin is a get rich quick scheme, then fiat is a get poor slow scheme on: January 06, 2020, 10:47:05 AM
I found this quality topic on twitter and it all caught my attention. I have seen that fiat is the currency of the Government and Bitcoin is the currency of the people, Can the Government Crash? if so the people cannot Crash neither, because so many people are not making good business from the fiat than in bitcoin, which have provided so much job opportunities for users who are online. Fiat will be replaced soon by bitcoin.

Share your thoughts

The crypto industry has really helped several people online to get employment including myself as a bounty manager and also a community manager with several projects. i would encourage every one in this industry to get a skill in order to get employed by any blockchain startup because we are likely going to earn more than they do not forgetting the upward trend volatility of bitcoin which increases our salaries beyond the normal. Investing in fiat has never and will never be my choice lol.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What you will opinion? on: January 06, 2020, 08:52:54 AM
Dude, Elrond is one hell of a good project to invest into okay. Their team is well experienced and the use case behind the Elrond project is a laudable one. Currently it is way cheaper than i thought, guess this is the time to fill my portfolio with some ERD again, hopefully alts season can kick in at any point in time. How much do i need to stake before i can get into this staking program?
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ICO WhitePaper Matter Most? on: January 06, 2020, 08:30:01 AM
Grin the whitepaper really matters at least that gives you a fair idea of what they want to develop in the first place but it is better if you go just beyond fancy whitepapers and look at other factors as well. For instance, you need to consider the experience of the team as well as the use cases of the project. Ask yourself how feasible can these dreams be achieved and do they have a real world use or it's just a bunch of ideas. Every piece of information you find with these searches will affect your decision whether to invest or not.
152  Economy / Economics / Re: Halving is approacing: HOLD YOUR BITCOINS AND NEVER SELL THEM on: January 04, 2020, 10:09:24 PM
Never had a thought cross my mind saying otherwise Grin. Selling bitcoin at this time is not the best of decision with news of bitcoin block halving just a few months away from us. I have started filling buying and holding more as i am predicting that the price of bitcoin will definitely hit slightly above 10K. Don't fall for the regular pumps and dumps of whales Grin
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Death of ICOs on: January 04, 2020, 10:01:33 PM
ICOs are not seeing any success with fundraising because of the previous numerous scams that have engulfed this space. Also, investors got to realize that most of the ICOs that are being launched into this space have no good use case and real world benefit other than just a bunch of ideas which are not feasible.
Another thing that is off a great concern is the greed of the team members. I have seen projects whereby team members abscond with the funds of their investors.
154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is buying Bitcoin in Iran? on: January 04, 2020, 06:11:19 PM
That's such a huge amount and i am wondering for what purpose are they really purchasing these bitcoins for? Are they planning to purchase some illegal weapons to fight the US. I don't think this would lead to war, i expect the international peace keeping bodies to step into this situation before things go downside to create a whole lot of unrest in these countries. We need peace!
155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to know if a bitcoin trading is worth trusting? on: January 04, 2020, 05:05:58 PM
OMG! do you think people would be crying if such offers were really true lol, then all crypto enthusiasts should be cruising jaguars and rolls royce at the moment. Mahn, never fall for those schemes, they are worthless and don't mean a anything, they are just interested in the little $500 that you have and they play on the greedy spirit of men to lure them into these scams. You are lucky you sought advice in here before venturing.
156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright claims , today will be the last day for Bitcoins. on: January 03, 2020, 09:38:51 PM
Why do people still entertain this Craig Wright joker. This guy knows nothing about bitcoin and to even think of being the creator of bitcoin and Blockchain technology. He is just an ordinary person who is just seeking the attention of the world. People shouldn't pay attention to his nonsense assumptions and claims.
157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sending Bitcoin over Bluetooth? on: January 03, 2020, 09:31:59 PM
Sending Bitcoin over Bluetooth? Really??  How will the transactions be confirmed when it is sent over Bluetooth? Come on, the transaction of bitcoin can not do away with the use of the internet. Transactions are done worldwide and should be the need for a medium that connects the entire world. Bitcoin exist because of the existence of the internet. Bluetooth can't be used as a medium the connects the entire blockchain network.
158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin fail if Satoshi is found? on: January 03, 2020, 09:22:28 PM
You just need to understand that there is no way the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto will ever be known. And as it stands now,  knowing the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto will not either have negative or positive effect on bitcoin and Blockchain technology. This is because bitcoin is widely used in the crypto ecosystem and Blockchain technology has also been worldwide adopted as public ledger for storing and processing data. Its just a waste of time finding the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people still fall victim to obvious scam? on: January 02, 2020, 08:41:04 PM
People who still fall prey to some of these cheat scams are basically greedy folks who want to make millions within a day. Rome was not built in a day people, you got to work hard to expand your income. Never trust anybody with your funds with the notion that the are going to multiply it by some percentage for you. If you still want the get rich quick scheme then i think you should consider getting into margin trading.
160  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we getting a pump and dump for this month? on: January 02, 2020, 08:37:00 PM
Apparently this seems to be the situation as it has been predicted that bitcoin is going to dump a little before it rises again. This is exactly what we are experiencing at the moment. I hope this dump does not go on for a very long time to ruin that returns that most of us are waiting for with bitcoin halving just around the corner.
