141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in altcoin still worth? on: January 02, 2018, 04:49:25 PM
Bitcoin has definitely done a phenomenal job in 2017, but some altcoins as well like Ethereum, I believe that cryptocurrecies in general are gaining much popularity and people are beggining to invest, I think that altcoins are a good alternative for bitcoin since bitcoin’s price right now is very high, not to mention the transaction fees. If youre going to invest in altcoin, I suggest to study first the coin for safety and stability, One of the best altcoin for me is Ethereum, its second in value next to Bitcoin and is has grown to be very popular among investors. I for one chooses to invest in ETH.
That's correct man, there is a lot of coins going around and if Bitcoin stays being the number one Crypto then Ethereum might be #2.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoin to invest right now? on: January 02, 2018, 01:51:32 AM
I like Monero-- great privacy coin and i think they will become quite popular.
I would use Monero as well, that coin has a lot of healthy conversations in the announcement thread and people still want to purchase it.
The coin also has actual usage so that's pretty nice too.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Who believes Ethereum can go 4,000 USD 2018? on: January 02, 2018, 01:50:31 AM
It takes more time than a year, maybe in 2019
While there is a lot of investors in Ethereum, there is a lot of people trying to dump the coin down if it gets to that price. I would be careful that point.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptsy Exchange on: January 02, 2018, 01:48:03 AM
Hello I have heard of Cryptsy Exchange, but I cannot find it...anyone knows the link, thanks

It's gone. I remembered that I lost also some BTC on there. Almost 2 Bitcoins, not a good memory Cheesy
A lot of people were registered in that website and they tried to get their money back but couldn't. Don't feel that bad, we just have to learn from our mistakes lol.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Long term vs. Short term on: January 02, 2018, 01:47:00 AM
I'm mostly looking for long term investments. But time to time I'm making some arrangements on my portfolio.
Most coins that are inside of Coinmarketcap won't last that long since they have a lot of whales trying to manipulate the price.

So, I guess my answer is that it depends on the coin.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple's Value Should not be evaluated in US dollar on: January 02, 2018, 01:42:00 AM
Ripple is not an ordinary Cryptocurrency, it shouldnt be listed among other Cryptocurrencies,

our problem is that the banksters, are printing US dollar to push their ripple and their evil agenda, and they are finding idiots that seek to get advantages from this

there has to be a solution for this or it wouldnt be worth doing cryptoeconomics in the first place

we are too dependent on thinking in US dollar,

our goal however must be the destruction of the US dollar, and end the abusal of it by the Fed

regards
I agree with you, there is a lot of people that just want to purchase Ripple for the money though they have no other thoughts on what they are actually purchasing.
Ripple is trying to break crypto.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Transaction on EtherDelta valued at zero on: January 02, 2018, 01:38:54 AM
I just sold some BLUE tokens on ETHERDELTA. I picked a sell order. After filling it, its showing the value as zero. Did I just give out my precious tokens?

This is my first trade on EtherDelta. Please help!
Did you check your balance on Github? You'd want to see how many coins you have after that trade, it could've canceled your order without you officially knowing.

The game could have public pack odds and a trading marketplace and tournaments where you wagered eth and bound it in a contract for the winner. Something ala Hearthstone or Gwent.

How many people do you think will use that coin or play something based on Bitcoins Blockchain? Or use that coins Blockchain in real life?
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: With how much should i start on: January 02, 2018, 01:30:33 AM
You don’t need much money to trade, you can start with maybe as little as 500$ or possibly even less than that. Of course the saying “you have to have money to make money” is true because if your principle is low, the profits are low too, but you have to start somewhere. Any amount is worth it as long as you can gain a profit from it.

You don't really need $500 to start, only $10 or so can make you a bunch of money if you trade inside the right coin.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RIPPLE PASSES ETHEREUM!! on: January 02, 2018, 01:27:59 AM
Whoa there I'm pretty sure XRP wont surpass Eth . Ripple has a long way to go before that happens. Although I don't think Ripple will outdo Eth I do think it's a great investment for crypto portfolios.
I am sure that Ripple won't get larger than Ethereum because of the dislikes that Ripple has. More people don't like Ripple compared to Ethereum.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your best Altcoin Prediction for 2018? on: December 31, 2017, 11:13:32 PM
Hi folks,

what is your choice for the best Altcoin of the coming year and please give a short explanation.

Which ICOs will do very well in your opinion.

Please share your thoughts of the hottest industries and the hottest projects.

Any participation will be highly appreciated.

Thank you in advance and all the best for the coming year
I also feel that Ethereum is going to be one of the top contenders for the ranks next to Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple price prediction for the month of January 2018 on: December 31, 2017, 02:12:47 AM
POLL - Vote for Ripple price prediction for the month of January 2018

Hey everybody as we countdown the year 2017 we are witnessing the coming about of Ripple (XRP) coin finally. After threatening to break the sub $1 price for quite sometime it has finally managed to reach $2.84 today.

Arguably Ripple is one of the strongest coins in circulation and has briefly become the second most valuable coin after Bitcoin in marketcap.

Our Poll for today is based on a price prediction for Ripple coin by the end of January 2018.

Voting is simple and results clearly visible to everyone unlike other polls conducted. I have created 4 options below each indicating one option and all you have to do is upvote the price that you feel will be the most accurate one.

Remember no comments to be made on options where prices are given. The only place you may share your opinion is the section marked as others. Upvote others and reply with your price prediction.
Ripple can go over $5 per coin though most people in this forum won't want it because they know that the whales can dump at any moment.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best ICO of week on: December 31, 2017, 02:11:02 AM
I think Neurogress and Zaber are among the best ICOs now, check them out.
Those coins don't seem like they will do well outside of Crypto. There is a point to all these coins and I think that they are missing that.

Skycoin is a cryptocurrency that allows for zeros transaction fees, two second confirmation times (in comparison to Bitcoin's 10 minutes or sometimes even hours) and infinite scalability. There are also many sub-projects of Skycoin that are built using the Skycoin infrastructure such as Skywire, Skyledger, Viscript, Sky-messenger etc.

Wtaf. Why is no one talking about this?

Didn't that coin get labeled a scam when they postponed their project without any updates on their Announcement thread?
Yes it was labelled as a scam and though they claimedto have raised over 50+ million dollars in their ICO, no one really heard much about them afterwards.Their site was really very informative but it was later found out to be a scam site.
They actually made some money through their ICO? That's a real bad system then, they didn't do anything that useful with their time.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC or XRP? on: December 30, 2017, 08:04:15 PM
Personally I like both coins..Both are very good options. If in market potential LTC has greater potential than ripple. Also ripple is centralized which make me choose LTC.
But ltc price is high enough so If I will choose for long term investment i will take XRP (Ripple) . I've owned both of them and I'm planning to hold and buy some more for the future.
Invest in Litecoin, at least you will keep your dignity when you have those coins. Banks are trying to regulate cryptocurrency through Ripple and their Blockchain.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has anyone heard of skycoin? on: December 30, 2017, 08:02:15 PM
I had never even heard of this coin. If it is then it is not worth our attention. It's just not serious!
I would not invest in it as well, I just saw the chart on Cryptopia and it looks like the price was pumped so it could be dumped on whoever buys in now.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yobit.net is not safe on: December 30, 2017, 07:59:46 PM
no users here can help restore your assets, waiting for replies from the yobit support team is the best thing.

do you provide the ethereum address correctly?
because the ethereum network is now normal or stable and the transaction does not take a long time.

The address is correct.

Is there somewhere that you can give us a link to the transaction? If you have the TXID then you can verify that you didn't get it.

159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yobit.net is not safe on: December 30, 2017, 07:50:10 PM
I lost all my money when I withdrew the coins from yobit.net yesterday. I was told the the process of withdrawing was complete. But the coin did not show up in my wallet.

I left a message on their website searching for the support, no one reply.

The point is, you can deposit your money safely to their platform. You can exchange your money at their platform safely. You have the chance to lost all your money when you withdraw your money.

Any one got into this kind of trouble?

Any way I can get my money back?

They usually reply back to messages that get sent to support, they just take a while to respond. I don't like that they have futures on that website though, their wallets are almost always on maintanance.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Potential Portfolio Analysis on: December 23, 2017, 11:23:05 PM
Hello everyone!

New member here. I have been following crypto-currencies for years now (not super close, but aware of them). I had the opportunity to buy BTC at $100-400 and passed it up. I am not going to let them happen again! I have about $1k to invest in crypto. I want to diversify to an extent. I don't want 8+ currencies because it will be impossible to keep track of all the wallets and keys. I have done a little research and have come up with the following portfolio:
ETH 25%
XVG 25%
WAVES 25%
XLM 25%

I am open to changes and modifying the percentages. I currently own .5 ETH and 1.4 LTC that I will use to buy some of the other cryptos. Does that portfolio look pretty strong to you guys? Feel free to tear it apart! I would appreciate any input.

Thanks!
How come you didn't invest more of your money into Ethereum? The price looks like it's going to increase soon.
