141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MOBILEGO Crowdfund [$53 Million] - Decentralized Mobile Gaming Solutions on: March 12, 2018, 02:50:13 PM
Hello, who can tell for what 53 million?? Hard cap? It's very much in any case.

As far as I know, $ 53 million is collected on the ICO, only given that they collected in ETH, this number can be multiplied several times

So the dev team have already gotten damned rich. They will never care about the benefit of the investors.

That is the impression for this moment, buying now feels like an gamble but when we see a real product there will be great benefits for investors. They archived already great partnership with unity, when the end product is released I think the investors shall benefit from it.

achieved partnership with Unity? Yes they did after paying them millions for the partnership

Amazing! That should be the way how to spend a lot of money and have nothing back.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Tezos discussion on: March 12, 2018, 02:49:03 PM
Though the ICO of Tezos is over now, Tezos will be launched on the stock exchange 3 months later. (now the futures price has been 3 times higher than the total raise price of 0.5 USD). If you think Tezos has potential, you can invest a little.

Tezos future on HitBTC? Forgot about it. I am serious, really.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | ARDOR | Scalable Blockchain-as-a-Service Platform | Proof of Stake on: March 11, 2018, 03:12:45 PM
What is the sense being listed on Binance? More exchanges - more sells - lower price.

That's not how it works. More exchanges = more volume, more customers => higher price.

Exactly. More exposure equals more value.

Not always true. The final price should reflect the intrinsic value of a project. More volume and more customers are not enough for a successful project.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SONM • Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: March 11, 2018, 03:10:02 PM

We continue to spread the SONM offering across the world. This time we were in Santa Clara for the #ContainerWorld conference.

Looks nice. The more people know about SONM, the more potential it will have.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ⚽ XFCCOIN ▐ Fantasy Football Manager Revolution!▐Swap and exchange open ⚽ on: March 10, 2018, 02:07:30 PM
Can we withdraw our bitcoin in the digital tokens? Did anyone already sold their xfc? It is very difficult to filled your orders in digital tokens  Huh

Never try it. As the price is far lower than what I expected, I won't sell xfc now.
Yes, it is a too low volume now. Should attract more people's attention and interest.

The only way they can attract it is to get it into big exchanges, it is ok to have your own exchange but people have their own exchange they are at home trading, if the management team cannot get this to at least 3 popular exchanges footballcoin will go nowhere, people will become fed up because they fail to trade this coin at the price they want.

That's a good option. Added to the big exchanges is also a good way to let more people/investors know about Footballcoin.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: March 10, 2018, 01:54:28 PM

That's an awesome news for bitcoin cash. The BCC/BTC drops by a factor of two now. It is not good at all.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ELI] Elicoin (CPU mining only) EXCHANGE AVAILABLE! on: March 10, 2018, 01:50:42 PM

EXCHANGE UNAVAILABLE!

Are two previous exchanges dead? That's ridiculous.
Please vote to the trusted exchanges. Small, new exchanges should be avoided.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: March 09, 2018, 09:10:26 AM
I think textcoins are a really powerful application, we might think about using this in the distribution methods, we could send free coins to people through the mail and recover the ones that has not been used, given a timelapse. What do you think about that?

I agreed that textcoins are a really powerful application. However, the market doesn't think so. I can check the recent price.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ELI] Elicoin (CPU mining only) EXCHANGE AVAILABLE! on: March 09, 2018, 08:56:48 AM
I suggested adding Elicoin to Shapeshift. Here is the link!

https://shapeshift.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001620290-I-Want-a-Coin-Added-to-ShapeShift

Lets get Elicoin on Shapeshift!

A good suggestion. Strongly support it. ShapeShift is more reliable than the present exchanges, https://trade.multicoins.org/
and ICQBASE exchange.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Tezos discussion on: March 08, 2018, 02:56:02 PM
Around the ecology of the Tezos, the community has started a number of projects, listed on the web site tezos.help. When I saw it, I felt so stunned that a continuous project had such a tenacious vitality. Cool

More and more good news are coming. Let's expect what will happen when the main net will launch after the coins being delivered. Good luck to Tezos. Hope it be a successful 3rd generation blockchain system.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RLC] iEx.ec blockchain-based distributed cloud announces its Crowdsale on: March 08, 2018, 02:47:41 PM
I didn't see anything to be worried about as iExec has no mention anywhere in that article which was referred at STK platforms vulnerabilities about Intel. They are working well and this kind of finding will be helpful for team iEXec RLC to look at there platform more carefully. RLC is most advance project among others trying to solve these issues.

Sure but I'd like an official statement about RLC team concerning this potential hack.
All their software relies on SGX security, and the SpecterSGX attack make it useless.

Looks to be a serious security breach for Intel SDK, and RLC if sticks to this would be another disaster for a good project.I am too waiting for the team for an official announcement if there is any impact due to this flaw.

If there is a potential flaw related to RLC, how to explain the recent price pump? It is strange.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ELI] Elicoin (CPU mining only) EXCHANGE AVAILABLE! on: March 08, 2018, 02:36:38 PM

Hello Dev,

Are you sure this icqbase is a reliable exchange? Yesterday I deposited BTC and it is still listed as a pending deposit, while the transaction has been confirmed many times in the blockchain.
I also noticed they do not have any security like 2FA or email confirmation. How did you end up on this exchange?

Never use the untrusted exchange! If you'd like to buy some coins, pm on the bct is far better.

That will be very misleading.

One question about the block reward:
It says 10 per block while I just saw 9.9 on the block explorer. Why?
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ELI] Elicoin (CPU mining only) on: March 07, 2018, 12:12:47 AM
I wonder how the algorithm can be protected from asic and gpu mining. For some reason it seems to me that asic can at a very low level it's bypassed

It is not protected against GPU mining, but it's very slow on it. ASIC for YescryptR16 is a sci-fi.

I saw the official pool pool.elecoin.net has been update to yiimp. However, it doesn't look steady. The payout seems not correct.
And I can't find the correct hash rate of my miners.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ELI] Elicoin (CPU mining only) on: March 06, 2018, 12:47:38 PM

It's great, even there is no volume now. Hope the trade will be active soon.

Dev, when the official pool will be updated? Is it steady now?
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ELI] Elicoin (CPU mining only) on: March 06, 2018, 07:11:35 AM
Dev,

I have created (borrowed) a hash rate comparison sheet for the processors I have tested so far for EliCoin mining. I want to post it here so others can submit their processor/hash rates. Editors please use add entries tab for submission. if you have any questions please let me know.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1XcbYIhAbz9SfNUdCV8OZKsYhbiU8wgPe-VM8NXUd4mA/edit?usp=sharing

Similar test is available here https://github.com/elicoin/elicoin/blob/master/HASHRATE.md

Awesome Spartan013!

Dev if you know the specs for each system tested please list them and I will add them to the spreadsheet.

Good information. I can also provide the hash rate of my rigs:
Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2620 v4 @ 2.10GHz.   2300 H/s
Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2620 v3 @ 2.40GHz    1700 H/s

Not working properly on both win32 and win64. Tried on Windows 7 and Windows 10. The wallet stopped working just before opening it. Dev team, improve it, please.

The wallet works fine for me, both on windows 7 64bit and Ubuntu.
However, on windows wallet, it still says the Litecoin wallet.. Maybe it is just a UI problem.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: March 05, 2018, 08:42:09 AM
Now developers can access almost any function of headless Byteball node via JSON-RPC https://github.com/byteball/byteballcore/wiki/JSON-RPC-interface

Previously, only a small subset of functions was available through RPC.

This allows to easily integrate BB nodes with programs written in languages other than node.js.

Nice job.

"and to allow you to experience its features, we are sending you 72,000,000 Bytes (worth about $30)."
How to get that free 72Mbyte?

Anyway, totally agree with the change of the symbol from Gbyte to Mbyte.
