Dump your RLC, it's based on a flawed technology.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

meanwhile Intel stock keeps pushing new highs even though its their processors that are mostly affected....
You are right to bring this up, i do not know nearly enough in the subject, and I have no idea if iExecs SDK is vunerable to these side channel attacks, so if a community manager or team member can comment on this, that would be nice.

what I will say is that I have faith, not only in RLC but also in Intel patching and fixing the code to make it more robust than ever.

What happening March 7? it's high volume and spike, news? Thx
Charts look very good, i like.

Looks like a big investor or an insider (maybe a few) bought lots of RLC - good news to me  Grin

This is getting ready to move to next level from my point of view this normal activity because this is already undervalued tech and still have enough space to grow more high level.

I didn't see anything to be worried about as iExec has no mention anywhere in that article which was referred at STK platforms vulnerabilities about Intel. They are working well and this kind of finding will be helpful for team iEXec RLC to look at there platform more carefully. RLC is most advance project among others trying to solve these issues.

Sure but I'd like an official statement about RLC team concerning this potential hack.
All their software relies on SGX security, and the SpecterSGX attack make it useless.

Can any dev team members give some comments on these?  If not, there will make the investors worry about the future of RLC.

Looks to be a serious security breach for Intel SDK, and RLC if sticks to this would be another disaster for a good project.I am too waiting for the team for an official announcement if there is any impact due to this flaw.

If there is a potential flaw related to RLC, how to explain the recent price pump? It is strange.

Yep, I too sense that, but gains and loss which are minimal per day do not have much impact on the news and the current pump can also be part of an organised pump and dump groups.

In the oficial Slack channel, they have said (I'll copy literally):

"    "All their software relies on SGX security"

This is just wrong. Sgx is an extra security in addition to Poco. It gives a bonus but we never assumed it was absolutely secure. It's one of the technologies we study and evaluate weither or not to integrate as a part of the iExec platform.
Workers without sgx are fines, and when other similar technologies become more widespread we might integrate them as well.  "

I did a little digging

from this original article on bleepingcomputer

" Vulnerable SGX development kits include the Intel SGX SDK, Rust-SGX, and Graphene-SGX."

from a February medium update:
https://medium.com/iex-ec/iexec-dev-letter-14-intel-sgx-security-and-r-14-feb-2018-544d87e28869

"Our SGX implementation is currently based on SCONE — a Secure Linux Containers with Intel SGX."

from SCONE github
https://sconedocs.github.io/

SOON TO COME: While SGX is affected by Spectre, SCONE adds protection against Spectre (variants 1 and 2)

IExec has a mature, reliable, open source software that enables it to implement all the functions that desktop network software needs, which is a breakthrough.

iExec don't rely on Intel SGX. At least, not right now.

This will be mentioned in the upcoming Dev Letter.
