When is the new wallet getting released? Haven't actually decided on the wallet as yet. I have asked the experienced devs to look into OKCash wallet and see if they can copy that for us, I'll talk to OKtoshi as well about it. The website building starts on Monday 10th October, will last about 3-4 weeks (we'll post updates when it kicks off). Designs are almost settled on, just waiting on final pass to show off what we think is a pretty cool and clever philosophy. For Android wallet we have two options of some pretty far out tech, but it costs and arm and both legs so can't afford that now. |

Greetings folks I hear you missed me ... awwww ... you guys are the best. Fear not though, for I have arrived in London after a pretty freaking epic flight. I saw a blue cloud .. BLUE cloud over the Alps and 2 of the 3 hours were bathed in the most awe-inspiring colours of the rainbow across the almost clear skies, with a few fluffy clouds coloured red and that blue one. Also I became an uncle 2 days ago. This will be a good month  Just wanted to give you a fair warning before I come on Discord finally and now I have a week in London with not very much to do ... muahahah .. I mean ...see you there  Did I mention there are 4 others in my dev team now and are going to come on Discord?

Is it possible that Wormhole Event won't occur during one of epoch?
Could you specify Block Rewards Table. It doen't match current situation. It's 31 epoch block reward should be 16 EMC2(according to the table), but it is only 8 EMC2 in fact
Wormholes don't appear in every epoch. They are more like once a month averaged. Alas, yes we will update OP, it sure needs sprucing up. It's a cumulative effort, I need a couple of things done to justify spending time updating OP which might change shortly after. What is the current wallet version? Good evening to all. First meeting went well, great group off people we have and pizza was real tasty... Now lets start work on our Einstein... Welcome EMC2 team member ....

If this goes well, I'll insist you come and see ... also, I'll need some of that Foundation BTC stash, in 10 days time, month end. We are almost approaching €550 in costs, which is 1 BTC now. Could be less BTC by then Oh ye, I have a price list for various things we need done for EMC2. It's under the max budget all in. Sorting through for a day or two, some more meetings to be had and will announce what is planned. |

Thank you -------------------- Update:-- Today is the day we get dev team together in my office (after we wipe the dust from the tables) ... will post pic later. -- Three designs have been sketched out. Two are posted already, we like the third, just doing some amendments. -- We'll do a publicity run most likely this week to help chose which designs we like best and go with that. -- Team is made up of some super experienced coders and designers complimented by a bunch of newbies to programming and designers who will learn, while studying coding. -- In effect, this is the direction I see EMC2 as best suited for. Educating a new generation of developers. |

If XBC can rise again and it's only the start ... well ... watch this space. Also, the lead dev is back from her Masters exam and will start on EMC2 planning from tomorrow I think.  Regards to all. I guess so ... Tiny update:Lead dev confirmed involvement starting next week. Another very good experienced dev is interested and has already implemented BTC payments into websites and so on. I'm off to Amsterdam this weekend, wanted to make a quick detour to meet Prof. Havekes in person, however due to time constraints on both sides, we'll reschedule. I may have missed something ... oh yeah the mini price jump: FOR SCIENCE ... hehe, remember that? CURE and FLDC + 200% today on Polo, EMC2 going up as well. |

Why the block halving took place? According to the schedule it should halvs after block 1 152 000, but now it is only 1080138
I thought it dropped to 16 coins in last halving, not recently. Pretty sure actually. Could we expect at least 1.2k satoshi ? It happened once, and we are working to make it happen again. Regards to all. Greetings EMC2 team member cmin dev update again

Pump will come to EMC2 soon. The simple reason is that many coins will be delisted from Poloniex but EMC2 is not included in that list. Comparing to low trading volume coins in Poloniex, EMC2 doesn't really have more superior features to the others. Being not delisted is both a good news and a good chance for EMC2 to continue developing and consolidate its standing.

Rest of the credit, where credit is due ... I'll let you mull that one over .. *waves to ..x* The 27 coin delisting was not a big shock, MINT is the only one I can't figure out, have a clue ... EMC2 not being on that list is absolutely not a shock to me. I like to think, I've proven myself to Poloniex owners and mods over the years that delisting a coin I am fronting publicly is not on the agenda. Also, EMC2 is just great ... the ethos of what it can be is mindblowing. I can't profess to be able to pull it off, trying pretty hard with a fairly clear goal, if the time comes someone more capable is willing and able to lead, power to them. Ideally, cryto should not need a leader, however in the real world .. we are all lazy AF ... Will definitely be pestering everyone to hell and back once we have 2 designs ready to show off and let the people decide which one we should develop further. Middle of September, we really have a capable IT person coming on board to front the tech effort and teach, or assist development of several developers. Serbia is cheap as it gets for programming and cost of living, my city especially ... I've got 3 people working 30 hours a month for €100 each. Bonuses will be paid in EMC2, some from Foundation coffers, some from my stash ... to focus and push work with mutual benefit. Don't want to give out EMC2 while it's under $1mil cap, cash and BTC gets more done short term. Folks have bills to pay, I don't want them selling EMC2 |
