I think maybe this cat has been fed before this photo or that leg would be missing from the scene

Hehe probably.

.........

Thinking to get a few t-shirts or hats made with new EMC2 designs once they are finalised.

As it turns out Einsteinium atomic structure is pretty:

Appreciated and perfect timing I'd say. I'll PM you my info.

Thinking of organising a get together for a bunch of people in Serbia who are either interested in crypto or programming and over two days hash out a sizeable group of people.

My main fixer is back only in 10 days from holidays and I'm slightly apprehensive to spend time chasing people he already knows.

The Foundation budget is 5 BTC in BTC and couple of million EMC2 from mining %. Reluctant to offer EMC2, as that never went well in the past and BTC is likely to jump within 3 weeks, which again would be an opportunity cost, since coding work and so on will be paid in cash.

..... Once bitten, twice shy is the key here.
Unless I know personally the people who are going to work on EMC2 coding, just can't hand over the keys to the kingdom. I, as head of EMC2 currently, won't be held to ransom. The money on the table is just business and it will be followed through as such with all due care.

Little update:

It looks like we are not going to entrust development to the initial team due to disagreements in which direction we would like EMC2 to head in ... and the price.

Plan B has been enacted.
It might not work out as quickly as I wish, however, I have an even better idea now what to attach to EMC2 brand.

In effect, the Plan B is actually the original plan I had quit work for in June to focus on EMC2 and crypto in general ...with a twist of actually being able to fund it from Foundation funds rather than my own pocket.

To be continued ...

ps: I know I say a lot of things and believe it or not, it's all true.
Due to loyalties to other parties I can't disclose the details of why we are not doing actual coding right now rather than faffing about with team building.
All I can say, I left paid employment as an accountant in London so I can do something ... better and that is EMC2 and couple of other coins after and crypto in general.

Here a pretty kitty gif makes it all better :

I think maybe this cat has been fed before this photo or that leg would be missing from the scene

Perhaps it's just a leg, the rest is gone!  Cheesy

Well the leg doesn't move and the kitty looks very happy ... hmmm ...

In other news:

May just have had the most productive meeting of recent times and snagged a lead developer for EMC2. Bonus point for working with Android as well. New to crypto, but experienced developer in the real world.

Start mid September. By then we'll have designs drawn up and info to post, hopefully Dr. Havekes research conclusion can wait until then Smiley

The original dev team did that. They had something really unique to offer and blew it.

In all honesty, I am leveraging EMC2 for my own project, which is building a programming company which can offer crypto services as well. Which in turn will make EMC2 an educational umbrella under which we can build real academia and science contacts throughout the world. It could be a 10 year project, regardless of coins.

... if PWC want me to work for them for Blockchain Technology Team, then ... well ... why don't I just do it myself? Spent enough years telling others how to run their businesses Cheesy

Work is being done, team is being built. Albeit almost from scratch due to unforeseen ... erm ... pumps Wink

Heheh don't bother mate, the work is starting with website building. Although ... in case Dr. Havekes' research conclusions is published before the end, might need a bit of updating.

Between you and me ... and the internets ... EMC2 rise has been brewing for a long time, like 18 months long. One day I will post the whole story on my website (after EMC2 site is done, mine will be built), because it's a long story but a good 'in. Full of real internet WTF events and a lot of confusion ... which made me laugh out loud when I figured it all out.

In short, January 2015 pump n dump was an accident. A lucky co-incidence for one group and a total f.up for me, but I met some good people because of it. Oh f.it, I can't resist .... it was GameCredits bunch ... when it was still called GamersCoin Cheesy

I mention this because GAME has an excellent team and an excellent coin ... and I made it happen ... the name change, the algo change, the buying on market and announcing it and the team pictures. Really enjoyed trolling Poloniex almost daily. They actually did most of the things I suggested and it worked wonders. Of course I can't take credit for all, they really worked hard.

Between www.gamecredits.net and www.okcash.co ... I have plenty of material to show new people what we want done in EMC2.

Pump will come to EMC2 soon. The simple reason is that many coins will be delisted from Poloniex but EMC2 is not included in that list. Comparing to low trading volume coins in Poloniex, EMC2 doesn't really have more superior features to the others. Being not delisted is both a good news and a good chance for EMC2 to continue developing and consolidate its standing.

Hehe .. I like the way you think ..
https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgflip.com%2F19dm1m.jpg&t=568&c=_r2QqbtEtw5CXw
See above success kid Cheesy

Heck, I will take some credit for EMC2 not being delisted on Polo now and never once received a delisting notice on Bittrex despite low volume for a year. Rest of the credit, where credit is due ... I'll let you mull that one over .. *waves to ..x*

The 27 coin delisting was not a big shock, MINT is the only one I can't figure out, have a clue ... EMC2 not being on that list is absolutely not a shock to me. I like to think, I've proven myself to Poloniex owners and mods over the years that delisting a coin I am fronting publicly is not on the agenda. Also, EMC2 is just great ... the ethos of what it can be is mindblowing.

I can't profess to be able to pull it off, trying pretty hard with a fairly clear goal, if the time comes someone more capable is willing and able to lead, power to them. Ideally, cryto should not need a leader, however in the real world .. we are all lazy AF ...

Will definitely be pestering everyone to hell and back once we have 2 designs ready to show off and let the people decide which one we should develop further. Middle of September, we really have a capable IT person coming on board to front the tech effort and teach, or assist development of several developers.

Serbia is cheap as it gets for programming and cost of living, my city especially ... I've got 3 people working 30 hours a month for €100 each. Bonuses will be paid in EMC2, some from Foundation coffers, some from my stash ... to focus and push work with mutual benefit. Don't want to give out EMC2 while it's under $1mil cap, cash and BTC gets more done short term. Folks have bills to pay, I don't want them selling EMC2 Smiley
