I would also agree that Liverpool are doing a good job about choosing the right players to sign. I think that they will sign Darwin Nunez no matter what. I mean even if Mane stays they would still go on because Nunez is more of a striker rather than a winger. After this transfer happens I wonder if they will sell one of the Jota - Firmino duo. If Mane stays one of those players might really leave and that player should be Firmino then. Because his performance was way worse compared to Jota last season. Or they can sell Origi as well as he isn't finding many chances.

I really appreciated Spain's effort in this game. I expected a tougher game than this truthfully but they got a comfortable win by 2-0. When it comes to Portugal, they weren't very good and this cost them three points at the end. Spain are leading the group now while Portugal are following them right behind. Tomorrow we have a really nice game between France and Croatia. France are still moving on without a victory in their group and this is a tough game too. I still think they will finally get that win.

Real Madrid made a big effort to sign Kylian Mbappe but the player himself didn't want to go there after seeing that extraordinary contract offer. Money opens all doors seemingly.  Grin  It was obvious that his dream team were Real Madrid but he didn't want to go now because of that. I still want to be hopeful about seeing him playing for Real Madrid in the future but we will see. PSG would have no problem with money so Mbappe will need to make that critical decision at some point considering his career.

We can see a very active transfer window. One of the probable transfers is Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona as it is seen now. Barcelona still have a significant chance to sign a deal with him thanks to his being determined to leave the team. They may be in some kind of financial trouble but we still don't know it for certain. They might afford him without a problem also. If the deal related to Frenkie de Jong also finishes, it will be good and bad for them at the same time. They will get a lot of money but they will lose one of their important players too.

The Premier League is absolutely the biggest European league now. For this reason I think that it is important to see new big players here regularly. A very good example for the thing I say could be Erling Haaland. He is one of the best strikers in the world and he is a Manchester City player now. This is going to take the league to another level. So I hope this doesn't change any time and this league can continue to make people have a great experience by watching quality games.

I was excited about the games today but almost all of them were disasters. Only the game between Netherlands and Poland was amazing really. That high tension in the second half of the game was worth watching. I was hoping for Netherlands to win the game too after capturing a good psychologic advantage. I'm afraid they couldn't make it. England - Italy was a game that I wanted to forget about the most.

Despite everything, we shouldn't overlook Lionel Messi's performance last season. I also confirm that he isn't as good as his old times here. Isn't it completely normal? Because he isn't a young player anymore and he is playing for a completely different team after devoting his career to Barcelona for so many years. I'm still confident that he will play better than this next season. Besides I don't expect him to return to Barcelona anytime soon too.

I see many talks about Chelsea here and it appears that Tuchel is announcing to the other clubs that he doesn't want Werner and Ziyech anymore with the club!
Pulisic is also not considered. Rudiger left, Christensen to Barca, Lukaku is also considering to return to Inter.
Unless new signing, Chelsea will have to change its strategy and avoid having many injuries at the same time.

This is no surprise to me actually. Ziyech and Werner both didn't have a very productive season at all. Werner has been like cursed since the date he joined Chelsea. He is still unable to give what Chelsea and the fans want to see in him. This won't work out like this so I think it would be much better for Werner to come back to Germany. He was great there and he should move on like that. Leipzig might even be eager to sign him back too but we will see in time what happens.

Liverpool seem to be very decided about transferring Darwin Nunez from Benfica. It would be one of the most attention getting transfers in the Premier League. I don't doubt it. Liverpool have good strikers like Firmino and Jota now but Darwin Nunez is another level for them. He is capable of playing in multiple positions too and he has been very effective in all of those places. He must be right the player Liverpool have been looking for. They are waiting for Mane to be sold before bringing him.

I don't think that PSG's still not winning any Champions League title is related to Neymar or any other player now. The problem must be their current management style. I wouldn't like to put it like Pochettino is a bad coach of course. I really like him as a coach normally but I just don't think that PSG are the right team for him. He has been successful in the Ligue 1 but it isn't the same when it comes to the Champions League. I hope to see them reaching an agreement with a new coach for this reason.

The source says that Manchester United have already made their first offer for Frenkie de Jong. It's a deal consisting of 60 million euros plus 20 million euros (add-ons). Considering his current value, I think that it is a really nice offer. However we don't know how much money Barcelona want for him now. They really need money these days so if they reach an agreement with Manchester United at the end, it would be great for them. On the other hand they will lose a very important player too of course. But sometimes you might need to make some sacrifices.

Barcelona wants 80 million immediately and not in a 60 + 20 scheme, they said they are waiting for a settlement of this issue before June 30th. To be honest, this transfer will be ideal for Barcelona - they will improve their financial situation, and they have actually lost the player, because after such an attitude towards him, he lost any loyalty to the club.

I agree. It would be a great agreement for Barcelona if they have a deal with Manchester United about 80 million euros in cash. Barcelona need to fix their financial condition as quick as possible and this is one of the biggest ways. He can play as a defensive midfielder too in addition to playing as a central midfield. Manchester United really need a defensive midfielder now as many people agree on it already. This can be their solution I hope. After spending this much money their expectations will be high from him.

Mane is a very valuable player for Liverpool and I have no doubt they would do their best to keep him in the team normally. As he wants to leave the team now there is not much thing to do for Liverpool. They would just like to sell him for a really good amount of money at least. He is worth incredibly much now and Bayern Munich's last offer was just ridiculous. Liverpool wouldn't be okay to a very low amount of money like that. If they don't get a proper offer from Bayern Munich then Mane could even stay.

Portugal and Spain both showed a good performance and got deserved wins at the end. Spain had some difficulties in the second half and this might have caused them to lose points too. Switzerland couldn't benefit from the chances they found in this half properly. Portugal were very advantageous in the first half already and they didn't give much chance to their opponent. I really liked Bernardo Silva in this game as he made two assists. Portugal have been the most attracting team of their group so far.
155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 winner - Real Madrid! on: June 09, 2022, 10:10:12 PM
Real Madrid's success in this tournament is incredibly big now. There is no other team that are this much consistent or capable when it comes to winning the Champions League title. Real Madrid are the best team in this tournament and there isn't going to be any other team to beat their record for a long time. There are teams like Manchester City and PSG that are seen as the closest teams to put an end to this considering their squad qualities but they still haven't achieved any title.

By bringing in more than 10 players at once in the market last season, positively impacting AC Milan by topping the standings last season and for the transfer market this season, AC Milan also looks to be spending a lot of money and according to news circulating, AC Milan will be signed by Milan. The first Il Diavolo are Sven Botman, Renato Sanches, and Divock Origi and AC Milan's efforts to recruit these three players continue to reap positive news so it is very likely that these three players will be included in AC Milan's newest squad.

Milan are going to be very active in this transfer windows as it seems. They should be like that too if they want to carry their performance to another level. They will need to bring some new players who can strengthen the squad too because of their joining the Champions League by winning the Serie A title. They need these changes in the squad to be more serious in the Champions League and they will need it for maintaining successful years in the Serie A as well.

Belgium had a very unexpected performance for me against Poland today. I thought that Belgium would win this game by a close score difference like one goal. After they got 2-1 ahead, I thought that it would end like that. But things got really interesting after some time. Belgium started to have the full control of the game and this reflected on the score on a large scale too. The final score was a whopping 6-1. I was very surprised to see it at the end but they definitely deserved that win.

We have less than three hours left for the third game of this series. I enjoyed both of the first two games a lot. For the third game, I'm thinking that Celtics are going to be victorious. They had a really bad result in the previous game so I think we will watch a much more solid Celtics in this game. Warriors wouldn't let them pull away earlier in the game I presume but Celtics would still make it to victory. They just need to defend Warriors players very well this time.

Gabriel Jesus had better find a good team for himself in this transfer window. Erling Haaland has come to Manchester City and there is no way Gabriel Jesus is having many opportunities at the team from now on. Arsenal seem like really serious about signing him, yes. They have been in need of a good striker for a long time so this would be a great deal for them. Gabriel Jesus is a very young player also and he can be productive for many years. I don't think that he would have much adaptation problem.
