Are you saying that you purchased MyriadCoin related domains and you're now trying to get developers to build sites for you so you can make profit out of adverts? No, sorry for the confusion. The idea is to do the following: 1. Open up the domains to development without a buyout. 2. Use any advertising revenue generated to create buy pressure on the exchanges, to counteract this seemingly endless supply of selling. I'm working with one developer already on getting MyriadcoinPool.com up, you'll see it being used within the next few days. Yeah and you keep the coins bought with this buy pressure... wtf? lol Obviously not. They would either go towards the developers or some sort of community pool. In fact, we're setting up a system on MyriadcoinPool.com already where I'm not even touching the advertising revenue, its going right into a script that trades on mint pal. I'm trying to do something good here, and do have lots of people already willing to help. I know the crypto currency community in general has a knee jerk reaction to this, but I'm not directly benefiting in any way. I apologize for casting doubt on this before. Must admit all this PR stuff is way over my head.

why do i get this error sometimes in the switchergui? ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fi.gyazo.com%2Ff39344a1d7e86989437cf89317ef1b30.png&t=663&c=ywKHWqnacvMMLQ) Not trying to be rude, and I know this app is nice, (although I never use it in my scenario) but can we please make a new topic for this, and only use this forum for Myriad itself? I love announcements that have to do with the coin, but tech support for an app that supports Myriad really should be elsewhere. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) oh sorry, i thought the myriad switcher is part of myriad, never knew it just supports myriad since it was named after it. and i also got it from this very thread just a few pages back. anyway, thanks Again, I was not trying to be rude. But I personally feel messages regarding an outside application should be dealt with elsewhere. If I stepped on toes, I apologize. non taken bro, i seriously thought it was a part of the coin ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) This is just the block explorer taking too long to respond (more than the http timeout set in the config) Not much I can do if the app can't fetch the difficulties to calculate profitability. You can try increasing the timeout, but if the block explorer API goes down you'll still get this error message

I found & fixed a bug that made the Myriad Switcher slow down and eventually stop completely if the query for difficulties to the block explorer timed out. Fixed in version 0.2.9 http://bit.ly/MyriadSwitcherGUIThere's also a "Resume" button now that allows you to resume the previous mining session, while the "Run" button will start over Dazz, I'm loving the work! I think it's time to pay your bounty today--Send me an address and I'll award you the bounty ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Thanks bro. MPLArvmR7dQrF7BCPDFsRCniFnCJhZkG9d I'm still going to work on a Linux version, but that's going to take some time cause I need to recode the console because of lack of wxPython's html2 support in linux

Tell us about Part 3 : Securing 5 algo difficulty under low profitability.
Miners are moving on, soon all 5 algos will be CPUable. Death is near.
What the hell are you talking about? http://myriad.theblockexplorer.com/

Question though: For kh/s next to each algo, are we supposed to enter a rough value for what our total rig outputs?
Correct. Obviously not everyone has the same hashrate for each algo or in the same proportion. Some may have better hardware for Scrypt, or Groestl... You can leave it alone and use defaults (taken from your http://myriad.theblockexplorer.com/ where the amount of coins per 1MH scrypt are calculated assuming 14MH/s in Groestl, 300 in Skein and 7 in Qubit) but setting accurate figures there will help at switching to your current most profitable algo and will also provide accurate figures in the estimates for myr/day, satoshi/day, etc... The scripts are the only items that are mandatory though. I'll document it soon, promise ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) You should join the IRC and at least lurk until someone has another question/bug with the new GUI miner algo switcher (live feedback ftw!)
Thanks, will do You should join the IRC and at least lurk until someone has another question/bug with the new GUI miner algo switcher (live feedback ftw!)
Actually I was considering the Android wallet, but if this is a higher priority I can maybe try this instead. Not sure what it involves or what technology/language would be best for the Electrum wallet so I'll have to dig a bit deeper before I commit here
