it's a multipool taking advantage of the retargeting system, this kind of thing can be done on any coin in existence be it scrypt or any other pow algo if the given difficulty is low enough.
Issue here is not retargeting but block reorganization. This needs to be fixed ASAP!! as in NOW. Otherwise we might see 200 or less satoshi/MYR before Monday!! Welcome to my ignore list. You dont know what you're talking about. There is no issue at all. As if i care about your fucking ignore list, all i care about are my profits! FIX THE FUCKING CODE DEV!!!!

So the record during this was 4 blocks found by one address, 259253 - 259256. This is not bad for a young coin with low diff. Didn't recently an address find 8 LTC blocks in a row? Nut2pools went down which might have had something to do with this. Personally I think there's two lessons from this:
a) Myriad itself is fine and very resilient b) Myriad's scrypt needs p2pool users. There's only one scrypt p2pool and nobody uses it.

nut's outage made the diff low making the coin more profitable to mine making a multipool go bananas on myr. nothing else happened.

Tested the wallet on a Galaxy 4S & it's working great. Did notice the word "Bitcoin" when copying the address and needed to re-sync the chain before my first deposit showed. But great work, been waiting long for this, must have been a h.ll of a job with this chain Sure this will help a lot with Myraid adoptation!

I found & fixed a bug that made the Myriad Switcher slow down and eventually stop completely if the query for difficulties to the block explorer timed out. Fixed in version 0.2.9 http://bit.ly/MyriadSwitcherGUIThere's also a "Resume" button now that allows you to resume the previous mining session, while the "Run" button will start over

MPLArvmR7dQrF7BCPDFsRCniFnCJhZkG9d I'm still going to work on a Linux version, but that's going to take some time cause I need to recode the console because of lack of wxPython's html2 support in linux

We need some positive news in order to attract new miners and investors. It is unhealthy when all coins are in hands of a few people (us), it won't let prices grow, and we will be with the broken trough despite our millions of coins. Our goal is to launch new services, may be implementing some great ideas from other coins (darksend and others), to make our coin most perfect in cryptoworld.
When such positive news will appear here?

I again looked at last blocks at http://myriad.theblockexplorer.com/ and saw such strange blocks 267214,267213,267212 with some transactions but 0 coins out! Other blocks have at least 1000 coins out as a reward. What does it mean? Height Time Transactions Coins Out 267214 1401026333 1 0 267213 1401026304 2 0 267212 1401026276 3 0 267211 1401026100 1 1000 I tried to look at the main blockexplorer ( http://myriad.theblockexplorer.com:2750/) , but it doesn't work as well as others blockexplorers. Are you making some upgrade?

Can someone help me setup a node to solo mine sha256? I'm on a pool now but have only received about %50 worth of the blocks i've found. I'll pay a 25k bounty.
I'm currently running an asic rig thats running cgminer on a raspberry pi. I've gathered from looking on reddit that I can create a node on another machine and then point my asic to it like i would for p2p pooling. Is this correct? How would I go about setting up a node?
Thanks!
