When will the 2nd distribution happen?

I'd be surprised if Poloniex listed it with a question mark over the remaining 95% of the supply being in the dev's control regardless of the longevity and validity of the project. Exactly, I've read everything that the dev has said in this thread recently but nothing he said really gives an excuse for this. Distribution should be a priority or the whole project just looks incompetent, the more people find out about the coin while the distribution is basically non existent, the more people will lose interest in the project simply because they have no access to the coins at a normal price, knowing that devs are holding 95% of the supply and the coin has already been in development for 3.5 years. I love this coin, 3.5 Years of development, that is good but distribution cannot be the same, you are confusing the economy for no reason and there will always be a big question mark above this project. I have traded cryptos on this forum for about 4 years now and this is one of the worst distributions I've ever seen, putting a huge stain on its amazing tech, there is no excuse for this. We are talking about distribution in the telegram chat, it would be great if all the community members could jump in. It's all to play for - the correct distribution has to occur though for the network to remain decentralized. So far there is no common solution to distribution problems. There is no POW or POS in relation to this coin, so it has to be taken with a gentle approach. It's not like they meant partner in a law firm, clearly, so the only other thing legal partner could really mean is that they are helping out with legal issues. Even so this team has the intention to persuade investors into believing they do have a real legal partner through the help of PWC who doesn't say they fully intent to be the legal partner of Exscudo. This could be a scam. What do you mean by "real legal partner"? This isn't a law firm with partners in law, the meaning of a legal partner in this context is somebody who provides legal assistance. Look up "legal partner" on google, it has no definition outside of a law firm or a domestic partnership lol. |

Really? Which ones? "On May 2, 2017, the following will be delisted: BBR, BITS, C2, CURE, HZ, IOC, MYR, NOBL, NSR, QBK, QORA, QTL, RBY, SDC, UNITY, VOX, XMG" Did they give a reason for these delists? Every single one of these coins has decent volume (25+ BTC), some of them have quite significant volume (250+ BTC). Seems odd to me. I guess they are trying to consolidate into higher volume and more established/reputable coins, perhaps? This would also seem to indicate it might be hard to get BTA on polo, at least at the current volume on bittrex (~25 BTC). |

Yeah it is kind of discouraging but if you think of it from a business model standpoint it makes sense. At that time they needed to raise revenue from investors, that was their primary job at the time, so of course they focused on that. Now that they have the money it is time to do something with it, so it kind of makes sense that they would be focusing on development now. Still, it would be nice if somebody maintained consistent community relations.
But also people want them to communicate but what if all they can say right now is nothing is ready yet, that nothing new has happened? Do we need to them to communicate even when there aren't new developments to communicate to us? If all they can say is "soon", I don't really see the point in saying it at all. It's like when you are a kid and you are driving in the car with your parents and you ask "are we there yet"? We aren't there yet, and I'm confident they will let us know when we are. They've been pretty good at telling us when something has happened or is happening, so I take their silence to simply mean there isn't much to update us with yet.

Now that dividends are no longer an obstacle to being listed either on Poloniex or Bittrex, the ICONOMI team should at the very least make an effort to get listed on Bittrex. We know that Jani met with Bittrex Bill and that they did discuss about things. If I remember correctly, Bittrex Bill did say that Jani was not intrested on getting ICN listed on Bittrex at the time but that they would be working on things in the future. @Jani- Come on man, get something sorted now. https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-TRST^^ Their ICO is barely over and they already are listed. It bugs me though that when asked on reddit when the Q1 report would be out 1-2 weeks ago Jani said "in days" (or something along those lines) and it still isn't out... But this is a perfect example of why it might be better if they avoid "soon"-type statements and just say and release things when they are actually ready. |

I think the only real solution is to burn a considerable amount, lets say 80 Million, after which only 15 million will be left over for distribution. The devs could keep a significant amount, lets say 5 mil, to fund future development.

Agreed, I would have purchased more if the distribution wasn't so rediculous, Same. In fact I bought into the ICO thinking the total supply was the amount that was being sold in the ICO (I know, my mistake). But I am so far impressed by the devs responsiveness and receptiveness, they are definitely aware of our concerns. Let's wait and see what happens. Either way I am very optimistic about this project, I remember reading about it when I first joined BCT in early 2014 and I'm happy to see it is starting to come to fruition. |
