141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: should i invest to this project ? on: October 28, 2020, 08:10:43 AM
You can only ask for people's opinions about a project, asking them if you should invest is wrong, you should do your own  research on projects and if you don't know how just learn it, this project website isn't working and the Twitter profile is down too, I'm guessing this is a scam DeFi project like many other.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you find out about new projects? on: October 27, 2020, 07:02:37 AM
I use coinmarketcap.com/new and icoannoucement.io, these two websites are good enough to fill you in about any upcoming ICO/IEO projects but alas do not trust new projects, do your own research to avoid bad endings
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Half bread is better than none on: October 27, 2020, 06:54:07 AM
It's no surprise that some make big money from scam projects, I've read online that someone make biggest money from a scam ICO project in 2017, something that inspired me into promoting projects, my aim is to get paid and take my profit instantly, whatever happens to the project after is none of my business, I only trust top altcoins and bitcoin
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: My opinion on Airdrop or Bounty hunters who dump token after the campaign on: October 26, 2020, 05:49:16 PM
I've seen some projects who changed contract address and did a complicated token swap after thier airdrop or Bounty. So, anyone who is holding this coins will be left with a useless version of it. And most of them don't know because they are already following other projects as a bounty hunter.
An Example of these kind of projects is tratok who did token swap more than once. And left many holders hoping on useless tokens.

So many hunters who believed in these kinds of projects will always say some sort of bad words to people who sell their token.
But Wait Please.
Are they hunting bounty to hold or live with the payment?
As for me, I can only do a bounty to use some of my payments and not to hold all.

Although some might prefer to invest thier time instead of money to get some tokens to hold but no one need to blame the ones who dumped. Although, dumpers can make price fall more than expectation. But no ones knows anyone current condition or situation.

This is the way I understand this kind of situation.
Any dumper needs money.. Thats it.
Or what do you think?
There is no way a project will change their smart contract without informing the public either investors or bounty hunters, this blame is on the public not the team, if you miss out it's simply because you aren't following the project update, it's true that some bounty hunters end up with outdated tokens but it's their fault
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins that go up and down fast? (I'm a noob) on: October 26, 2020, 05:45:50 PM
Hey guys, I hope that you are having an amazing day. I made a post about trading and after a bit of research I think that I'll go with altcoins. I was wondering if you know some altcoins that tend to go up and down fast. I have seen FOXT for example, but there's not a market for that. Also, if they can be in known exchanges like Binance it'll be way better.

Thank you so much in advance!
This is new.... Why would you want a altcoin that will go up and down fast? Everyone wants crypto projects that will keep surging lol, anyways every altcoins and even bitcoin have high volatility, they go up and down even when you don't see it coming, since you are new to this I will advice you to figure out why coins are at the top using coinmarketcap, they are rated in the positions they are for some reasons
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why don't you stop rushing to promote bounty from a scammed bounty manager on: October 25, 2020, 05:54:20 AM
Some bounty managers have been known to promote scam projects and I believe because they have users who rush to sign up, they keep being agents of scam project and not escrowing rewards.
More is that, the reasons bounty has been paying shit is because you rushing over it and they decide to list below, compare it with 2017 coins.

I believe some users are getting worried and fade up on lack of fulfilment of bounty promises at the end because the promises are not met as you either get scammed or the worth of your thousand units is = to a dollar ($1) at the end of many weeks.

When you work for months and dump total worth for $15 (rare case) if you get up to that, you have just paid for your data usage. What about your time? Inconveniences etc.

They take advantage of hunters that participated and not pay reward with different excuses which are :

1. KYC introduced while it was not started from beginning:
Know your customer is actually not necessary in a decentralized setting, all you need is to guide yourself or company because decentralized system should guarantee freedom. Why then introduce it at the end, to prevent participants from receiving their labour. I believe most times, this is to push out because if they are genuine, they should state it clearly from beginning that KYC is a necessary factor to receive reward. Example is bubbalex, his bounty has been one of the most sincere type I have read, from beginning to end is the way it is done. To
time for listing, times and dates for distribution.
All information about the growth of the project in different SM channels, medium, Twitter, telegram. No KYC introduced at the beginning and to the end.

2.The excuses of launch of website, app, main net, sales , soft cap are all reason you should understand you are wasting your time especially when you get shit pay.

What you can do if you like the project and you are not sure of  the promises

Save up to buy if you don't have money, you can wait for it when it is listed and dumped, you buy cheap.

If you have not checked this thread
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5230885.msg53975958#msg53975958
I believe that what anyone can do if they like a particular project and they aren't sure of the project's success is to invest on what they can afford to lose, there is no guarantee that the coin will surge, it's not about buying cheap, it's about the quality of the project and the team behind it, but to say the truth it's safer to promote the project if bounty campaign is available, you aren't investing money but only your time.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This will make any positive impact in crypto space? on: October 25, 2020, 05:50:13 AM
Elvira Nabiullina, head of Russia's central bank, today said that a pilot version of a digital ruble could be ready by 2021. A Russian CBDC would “make payments faster, simpler and safer,” the country’s central bank also said in a report. Here is the source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2mmajgIYPA

This ain't the first time we've seen news like this one, we need more than words right now, I don't see how this will have impact on crypto, let see, this particular russian coin is CBDC right? Of course it won't have any impact, PayPal never said they will only support central bank digital currency but Bitcoin and other popular coins which I believe that's why we are bullish presently.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrops Confusion on: October 24, 2020, 03:31:25 PM
It's not hard work to join Airdrops I guess that's why many refer to them as free money, you just need to follow the project social media accounts like facebook and twitter and do some retweeting, this won't take much of your time, can't be compare to bounties that takes weeks and months
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrencies have the lowest transaction fees? on: October 24, 2020, 03:29:11 PM
1. Tron Network
2. EOS
3. Doge Coin
4. XLM
5. Litecoin

The reason why these coins have low transaction fee is their value, they have big max supply and low value too, the transaction fee can easily surge in future if Doge coin costs 10$ or 100$
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How safe it is to give a away personal detail to SwissBorg on: October 22, 2020, 02:51:49 PM
I downloaded their app and during the signing up process I got bit worried of all the personal details they ask such as:
my name, residential address, identity verification.
Personally, I don't feel relaxed giving away such personal detail, am I overreacting  and it is safe or you think the same as I?
Swissborg isn't a small company and many have already completed their KYC, I don't think there is any reasons to be worried about this, you can find reviews about the company online, I'm sure you will be satisfied with their review but if you feel it's not safe then don't bother using the platform
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: End of Defi hype! Time to invest in real business with real products? on: October 22, 2020, 02:47:56 PM
Today Bitcoin is trading at 12000+ and majority of DeFi projects only brings 10% recovery, this is sadden and I have no choice but to accept what OP is saying, I think it's over for DeFi and only very few popular DeFi projects are still doing fine, it's better to invest in other strong projects that are old already, like BNB or ETH
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Message to Bounty Managers and Participants on: October 20, 2020, 05:44:52 AM
Its the bounty manager's fault that cheaters invade the campaign, I would have joined DEGO Finance bounty too but the bounty has no signature campaign available, every bounty managers must compulsory proof of authentication and also limited participants to have a clean bounty managing experience
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think we have more bounty hunters now because of the pandemic on: October 20, 2020, 05:39:53 AM
There are many projects that still haven't pay bounty hunters till date, joining bounties and getting paid is luck today, too many developers cares about themselves and their projects only, it's better to learn crypto trading or other ways do making money online like CPA and promote offers, bounty hunting is full of displeasure and sadness
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Portfolio before and after the pandemic on: October 19, 2020, 01:06:03 PM
It is good news for mostly those who have something else they are doing to survive and it's bad news for those who have no other way after they lost their jobs, they have to dump some of their tokens by forced just to survive, my portfolio is never the same again as I've sold majority of the best coins I was holding, I had no other choice
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Where can I get 200 gpus on: October 19, 2020, 01:01:26 PM
Funny, thread titles like this is what make scammers happy and because of threads like this scammers are still scamming, in this time and age if the op does not know where to buy gpus then he has serious lack of mental capability and awareness.

Also if you see eth profitability right now, you will see that is more than 50% lower than it was a week ago. So the OP troll if bought the gpus then he probably must be crying right now with those 200 gpus ehhe, the truth is, these trolls never learn anything. OP next time, create a thread and write " Where can I get 200000000000 gpus", trust me that will make you happy hehe.

Yes mining profitability have dropped severely. I think at peak I was making like $2/day/GPU on an old RX 470. And now it's like a quarter a day with the same card.

So people saw that they can make $2 a day with a $75 GPU and figured they can't lose because the ROI is about 2 months and the GPUs itself always hold some value.

Little did they know there is something called difficulty so the more people mine the less coins there is for everybody else and the prices were inflated due to all the DeFI hype last month. I remember people paying something like $50 per transaction just like the good old $20K Dec 2017 Bitcoin transactions.

Now I am pretty sure the OP will move on to other ways of making money in Crypto.
True it's not worth buying cards to mine today, profit have drop compare to weeks ago and the big bad news is Ethereum and Ethereum Classic have announced that they are leaving Ethash Algorithm behind, this is the most profitable Algorithms for RX470 and 580s, buying is a total waste of time, invest your money on coins
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why hesitate ???? on: October 18, 2020, 02:36:18 PM
You invested in a ICO or IEO project at 1$ per token or coin and the price surge up to 3$ but because you see potential in the project you decide to hold and after few months the price goes down to 0.45$ and after four years and the token surge back to 3$, my question is why the wait? You hold a coin for years just to go back to it's ATH (All Time High) ? And most times majority of coins don't go back to their ATH ever again, what could you learn from this? Never ever hesitate to take profits, even if the project is the best ever, take profits, invest again when price is down because believe me, the price will surely go down

if humans are programmed to see the future won't we all be rich?
How I wish the market is predictable so we can all be rich but it's not the way it works we suffer because of this i am a victim of so many waiting for another all time high that took a lo tfo time to come the latest of which is the Uniswap I should have sold half of it when it reach it's all time high of $8 now I'm crossing my finger that it reach $8 or even more.
Well said brother/sister, I would have make good money if I always take profits from projects, I have this mentality of holding for years and that have gotten me nowhere, since 2017 all altcoins I hold never go back to their ATH again, I guess I learned the hard way but now I'm a different person
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why hesitate ???? on: October 18, 2020, 02:32:22 PM
In the process of trying to earn big you will end up losing big, that's all I can say about what OP is talking about, to me it's still greed and in the most painful way because holding on to tokens for years and in the end still same result isn't a easy task, fake hope I presume
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Where can I get 200 gpus on: October 17, 2020, 07:12:34 AM
You will have a hard time finding rx580. The one option you can go for is to try any big distributors near you or on the internet sometimes they have some stock left to sell (be careful of the latter because they sometimes can scam you) but getting 200 cards seems a bit impossible to me.
Sir it's not hard to find rx580 today, they are available on ebay right now and even on amazon and newegg website, maybe I will drop screenshot of good rx580 offers on here then, here you go

You can either bid for the best price or buy direct, there are even some at the range of 120$ per card
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Where can I get 200 gpus on: October 17, 2020, 07:01:53 AM
Why do you need this old junk, you can buy 5500 XT 8 GB, you will have the same hashrate and 2 times less power consumption.
Old junks? You mean rx470 and rx5** ? What you don't get is these cards are far more cheaper than 5500 XT series and they produce roughly the same MH/S and even some rx580 variants gives better Hashrates, meaning that rx470 or 480 will bring ROI faster than 5500 XT gpus, it's that simple, do you get that? DYOR mate
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: the cheater bounty participants began to act again on: October 16, 2020, 09:33:24 AM
The job of a bounty manager is to fish out every cheaters on bounty spreadsheet, only inexperienced bounty managers don't know how to go about this, proof of Authentication is very important and I don't see how it can be changed, using POA alone solves cheating depending on the vital information requested on the form and POA
