Thanks to everyone who is active in the IRC. I am not able to hang around IRC for long. Given all the crap that's been happening around Voot, I am glad that there are lot of people voluntaring to help and coming with new ideas for the pipeline.

as they have been paid to do a job.
If they want more money then they need to come out and say why,
however as its stands you've tendered for a job got paid then you must deliver
to the community foundation what they paid for, or it will be nothing but a theft and scam for anything less than that.
The cards are on the table so answers need to be forthcoming on this thread and not in
secret backroom irc chatrooms.
Agree with you sovie. Regarding #2, we need Mscollec to confirm. For the last two days, we are trying to find out the original agreement with Mscollec and smoke. Some people including Jeff have pm'd him about this. Like you said I also don't see why the smoke team is not handing over the exchange to Jeff or Mscollec. We know Mscollec paid Smoke with the development fund for the creation of the anon exchange. We need his confirmation on the ownership of the exchange and if smoke team has any ownership / stake after the creation of the exchange. After this, Mscollec also has to confirm the 'agreement' for Voot market and voot cloud. P.s - it is Mscollec's decision to leave or stay with Voot, but if this coin needs to progress, then we need answers from him. Thanks |

SMOKE team is avoiding our questions and demands. We gave them a deadline. After which the poll results will go into effect.
Does everybody know that axedcode has sold all his voot? Why he is still speaking and deciding in the behalf of the voot comunity? For the someone asking why i have smthng to say,i will put a sell order right in this moment at: 250 sat,that is the sum i will like to sell, after all this drama...unfortunately,losing 4000$ Yes, he did mention that, right at the beginning when we joined the foundation. He is helping the community manage the foundation with rational decisions and not work on emotions. He has come forward because he wants to be involved in the future of voot. I have no association with him, and instead of thanking him for taking time for voot, there is no sense in complaining about his credentials. Note his position in the foundation is temporary (like everyone except Jeff and whale) and he is helping us and does not hold permanent position in the foundation. People who have come forward to the voot foundation have joined for the right reasons. Note, if you are selling at a loss, it is cause of your decisions. The same happened when people sold at 65 sats and rebounded to 800. |

I could be interpreting them wrong, but what I understood is that, they want 'investors' to take over the Anon exchange, i.e. basically selling off the exchange to an investor (maybe even participating in the profit). If the payment for the Anon exchange is paid for, and belongs to Mscollec or the Voot community, then I don't see why they want 'investors' to take over the Anon exchange?
One thing is for sure: SMOKE should hand over the exchange, either to Mscollec, or to someone he decides. (e.g. the new foundation...)
Yes, this is fine. Mscollec, could you please reach out to smoke team, as they trust you more and get control of the exchange. Once you get control of the exchange, we can decide on how to run it through the VOOT foundation. You know the circumstance of the agreement made with Smoke team, and it is best if you try to resolve this. Does that make sense? |

Time and time again Guglimugli has not given a proper answer to why he is still with URO after being request to leave so many times. I don't see him leaving anytime soon lol

Really disappointed with the smoke team and especially their communication style. This is like, if I employee & pay a contractor to build a house for me and after completing of the house, I have to pay them again to take ownership of the house  . Smoke team where employed to build & hand over the anon exchange and not lease or resell it to the Voot community. @Smoke team, please speak up! extorting the voot community is not the correct approach for the benefit of the coin and for your reputation. |

ANON EXCHANGE
As far as I know, the problem lies between the agreement between Mscollec and Smoke. No one is 100% sure on it, and we are lacking Mscollec's response. Based on what I can tell, Mscollec only paid Smoke team to code and create the exchange but the ownership of the exchange lies with Smoke team. This is kinda strange, because normally when you employ someone to create a website for you, it is understood/normal practice that, the provider of the funds is the owner.
I believe this is the issue with Smoke not handing over the exchange and needs someone to 'buy off' the exchange from them. Mscollec can quote me here, if my understanding is wrong.
It's strange to see smoke take this approach, and especially if they aren't allowing the code review, no one will deposit coins in that exchange.
VOOT FOUNDATION
Regarding the voot foundation, I know some of you are surprised that there has been no voting done. Please note that everyone except Whale and Jeff are temporary members and no these temp members are not power hungry & remain in their position for ever. Aim for this temp voot foundation, is to moderate and stabilize the situation. Once we get a clear sense of direction, we can formally go for a voot foundation election.
Jeff is also working on bringing his dev friend on board to take over this coin.

we won't release the sourcecode because we want to avoid leaks. can someone post the business discussion of what actually occurred on the irc chat please?
How is the foundation to endorse such a service if they, as experienced developers, are unable to review what they are pushing to the public? we have no idea who the foundation is? dont get us wrong we are not trying to be derrogtory but in the same moment people from this community are waigning from left to right with affiliations, initially we were contacted by an individual after prior contact the individual started slandering the coin. the exchange is ready and setup we are expecting a business negotiation here we gave everyone a chance to view the exchange and be involved. that was why the community had an IRC chat and we sent the appropriate information. we want to know what happened within these communications as we have no idea what was discussed. Then kindly give the code to jeff who is the formal PR for Voot. Things will not progress until there is a review of the code. |

we are still waiting on what the community wants to do with exchange. the exchange is not beta it is finished and was released on time. we told trading was disabled until we find a legitimate business person to take it over and give control to, we told this to various people over and over again. we gave the link to jefferson before the deadline so the PR team could confirm that it is completed and he could show it to interested parties. currently we have no idea whats happening with it we are unable to do anything very few have made contact with us regarding it. please have a normal discussion about the options for it and then we can have discussions.
also we received no information on what was discussed on IRC or possible solutions in any way. PR is doing a good job but we are completely out of the loop on what the community thinks.

Not fudding, this is strictly my opinion since there were way too many horrible chain of events that happened this week for this coin to survive.
Voot's image and along with its reputation is now down the drained. To add, the devs and along with smoke team failed to deliver a finished product like promised in earlier posts...again; I felt like the "so called release" was a slap in the face, a wake up call.
Lack of coordination between the two parties have caused me to have my doubts.
I had high hope for this coin... but I am out. As for all you other bag holders, there's no point holding anymore. We need to stop pretending that this coin will make its comeback. Everything was a disaster, from one promises to the next...
Thanks whale123 and Jefferson, you guys did a great job in communicating with the community.
Sorry to hear that but with the new change coming (Voot Foundation), only good things can happen to VOOT in the future. |
