Lol to the panic sellers. I hope yu did realise that yesterday we were at 30k? Meaning that.. Even with these huge dumps and dips back we were still WELL OVER 50% gain?! So.. Lol.Coins have swapped hands.
This is how many people ended up with just a few hunderd ltc max. And not many hders had loads in the thousands anymore.

Yu should have realised that when we were nearing 100?k.. same thing happens to coin as when we hit.10k nearlu. Its a psychological barrier. And for whales.. Its an amazing time to dumpand cause loads od panic. Yu keep.blaming whales for manipulating. They just give it a push with a few sell orders way below market value. And yu all panic and sell. Yu go lissing to the fuds and the haters and panic more and we the believe rs that we are NOT LIKE Auroracoin or Mazacoin bought more lol.

We need some profit taking and further distribution of coins amongst a greater # of people... Please think long term.. I'm just sitting back and staking with my coins in my wallet personally  I feel like this is a better method vs PoW/Bitcoins.. but it's still got a long way to go. Need patience.. Remember tat bitcoin crashed from 120 to 2 dollars and MANY PEOPLE LOST THEIR bitcoins on her due to panic selling. And in a period of 2 months or so? It went up to 1200 Think long term or you lose big time. And think in dollars not satoshis... This coin was at 0.40 dollar cents. And its so amazing and peercoin/namecoin and litecoin are above a dollar. some REALLY THINK! That we won't do that?... lol I will laugh at you when we are above the 100k barrier. |

But seeing how fast it went up agian.. I dont see a MAJOR dump that puts us back down in the 10.000's Also seeing how Aurora is holding up their. But you know price was just 30.000 last night. 50.000 this morning. And 95.000 high. So these drops seeem huge but actually their not and just corrections.. |

my btc dissapeared and are hanging now in "held for orders"!
This happened to me a few weeks ago (when they were smaller and got a spike of volume). After an hour I made a ticket but it fixed itself about a minute later. They are handling a phenomenal amount of volume very well so far for such a new exchange. Cryptsy pretty much shit itself and died the first time it got a volume spike last year. Anyone else lose their BTC? Mine disappeared.... Mintpal fix this shit.. Yeah, same thing happened to me. Tried to sneak in a buy order right after it tanked, and my bitcoins vanished.  2000 blackcoin I bought during crash dissapeared? Or was it really that this was a big mintpal bug so that the prices were not real at the time or someting? |

Let me repeat one more time. That was not a dump!!! It was a trading error with Mintpal. Never has a dump pushed the value down 40,000 sat in less than 5 minutes and then back up again in 1 minute. It is Impossible!!!
IT went madly fast indeed I saw it all.. But Iconic I have seen this twice at 4k. with a dump down to 3k. But yea that was just 1k.. |

i personally hold 80K+ coins. Cashing out right now to earn a small profit would be a really stupid act. i see a bright future of this coin.
Yes 20000 sat swing should be normal. Some early adopters tried to cash out for profits. Correction will be made in the next few hours.
But this swing went so fast.. From 90.000 to 58.000 that was just a very manipulated dump to get more coins cheaper. You have to admit that. |

LOL! What a manipulated crash! This crash has happend before at 4k! IT dropped down to 3k in a matter of seconds! And alot of people paniced. What would you do if all of sudden you are near so much money and the price drops from 90.000 to 80.000 to 70.000 to 60.000 to 58.000 I sold quickly at 7000 and bought back at 6000 really fast made about 1000  I really hope some of you DID NOT PANIC SELL. This was just very manipulated by the biggest whales. Cozz it was a bot who was doing all those orders |

Just for information: following an earlier advice on how to get rich, I cashed out 10% of my BC. The next time I will cash out 10% of my remaining BC will be when the price will double again, at 150k I might make a mistake, I don't know. I want to experiment this method (too lazy to look for the link, it was on the BC thread a dozen pages ago, published yesterday) One question, though: should I cash out in BTC or fiat? I thnik the idea is to cash out in fiat. Opinions? My strategie: First invest 3k savings into litecoin and end up with just 1200 dollars left Then make 1 btc on the aurora pump and invest 2 btc in mazacoin to lose all lol Then go into blackcoin at 8k and go all in at 12k Then at 55k get 1k more from savings to end up with just 3k savings left. And poor the 1000 euro all in Blackcoin at 55k. Then a few hours later sit safeley at 75k. And wait for it to hit 2 dollar. Then cash out my 6k of my 1000 euro investment and have 20k left! Gave 500 to a friend. Cozz really now its awesome! I can share all the happieness and joy with him of this coin rising! And gave 2k to my sister who doesnt understands shit but she is trying to realize that she might be able to finally go on a holiday with her kids! And HOLD THE REST Not selling before we hit 10dollar. And even if I'd sell at 10 dollar. Someone else is gonna take it over and go for 20 dollar untill we get to a point where price is stable. |

What do you think of 1) Blackcoin (look at this chart on the three month lenght or else on mintpal) and 2) the poster's summary? Do you thing, to related with your answer, that Blackcoin is one of those "things that can go really high."? I don't know what is blackcoin so that I could have an opinion on it. It is obviously one of those things that "can go really high". Real estate and gold are examples of things that cannot, I meant that you should not buy them with an intention to cash out your original investment, rather they are to be accumulated and never sold. Also stocks I don't recommend the method because you cut your winnings and let the losers run, the opposite of what is prudent. The spirit of my plan is also that you start selling only after bitcoin/whatevercoin has become a significant part of your portfolio. Then periodic selling also satisfies the Kelly criterion. EDIT: Blackcoin resembles Quark in that it is practically premined and its price can be decided by the preminers. Quark made the preminers rich when the premine ended and pump began, but it has been going down since taking the sheep with it. Don't buy blackcoin.You my sir.. Are absoluty the biggest idiot on this forum I have come across so far. What the fuck. I have been compiling a list of journalists that have actively reported on altcoins in the past several months, as well as reaching out to several personal friends I have in the media from my time studying journalism before I moved into marketing.
So far I have sent about 20 emails to various writers and editors at publications such as Bloomberg, USA Today, the Houston Chronicle, the Washington Post, the LA Times, CNN, and more. I will be sending more in the days to come. (actually as I was writing this I received a reply from a writer at Bloomberg asking for some more details on Blackcoin so so far so good!).
My whole goal of course is to continue to increase mainstream awareness about BC to help contribute to the building of a viable future for this coin. I will post any updates I receive from writers, and I might also reach out to some of you for contact information to be used as a source in future articles.
An FYI about me: I am a Director of Marketing & Communications for a large non-profit based in Texas, so media campaigns, branding, and awareness building are what I do.

I'm starting to get really anxious about losing my Blackcoin to some hacker.
What's the best idea to secure them?
Put the wallet.dat on a USB and delete them on my computer? Guy where do you have your BC? Where is the safest place? Is it safe on mintpal or is it better to store them in your offline wallet? A FAQ for this things would be Great! Pitty Im not the best in english! Download eraser. Back up the wallet. dat on a few usb sticks. And delete the wallet.dat with eraser. Serious now..
