141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MAMM] MammothCoin | TRUSTLESS WALLET UPDATED! V.3.1 (Mandatory) on: September 09, 2014, 11:47:22 AM
We look for professional promoters do you know any?

I do promotions for companies constantly, this is how I make my living. I also use senior advertising writers, web experts and pro designers for worthy projects. . . Even with a big stake in this coin myself, I can't invest anything further free of charge without proof that this is real. That can only come from consensus and that will happen when the tech is actually released - code open source. If there is a dev/foundation/big donor who wants to hire me, I'm in for payment happily, but I can't work for something so uncertain like this free of charge.

You will probably hear the same story from any professional. Remember that when looking for promoters you are up against coins with money to spend, and released code, POD and other things that allow workers to trust that their efforts are not in vain.

Yup

It would be awesome if you could buy and sell Mammothcoin from within the wallet. Using the different API's exchanges provide.

Orrrr anonymous chat like IRC kinda thing in the wallet

Imagine having anonymous chat on an android wallet

I also think an interest taking foundation could be smart. Such a small premine, the dev didn't have much bounty to work with and if he's bought, its coming out of pocket. A small randomly given interest into a wallet held by multiple users who poney up a fee to join the foundation - that sort of thing. Multiple passwords from all foundation members needed to release the collected bounty...It could also be synced to coin price. So while the price is still very low, more interest is generated, but as the price goes up, the foundation receives less coins per interest payment.

Just a thought, it'd be nice if we had some sort of foundation to support various needs.

Like a MultiSig anonymous trustfund Tongue

we are working on the new site, some issues there but we will fix it soon and make a good surprise for you.

Best surprise would be release of the code. . .Help us to trust Mammoth Coin. We don't need to know who you are, but we need proof that your tech is legit.

If the code was out and scrutinized, I for one will help by going to other threads of "anon" coins and tell them to come here instead, I'll make more videos, I'll email publications, I will do everything I can....But its really hard to promote this when I can't be sure that its real. If its proven, I'm going to put hard work into it - I'm sure a lot of people watching this would.
@remistevens it's very legit & respected by authorities, it's best possible tech for anonymity currently we have in altcoin industry. It's something new.  It's used at OpenBaazar and many other trustless products. Our design little different than OpenBazaar as concepts but it works and deliver performance.

You can see it works, just try it. You can see every step actually happens and works.  The problem is when we release the codes many other copy cats will occur. We have already enough hype, they try to sell their very trust based systems as trustless. For users like you have no chance to see the job here done unless you are really a good tech person. That's why we need do videos, promotions and websites.

Except for promo and new website, what is the next thing you're going to do?

Thought I would share this http://iconicexpert.newsvine.com/_news/2014/09/06/25897631-cryptocurrency-exchange-guiding-principle for those of you that can read. Kidding of course...who reads anymore?

Don't mind the author, it's the ideas that make sense.

What did he say about POD's? Shocking revelation..

Finally something that makes sense. The protections and safeguards from the real stockmarket are not that bad. Allows you to make the same money, but be protected.

This would be a good way to get rid of people thinking they are gordon gecko

Don't think he has final say in that since it made together with super coin. I do think however the super coin dev also should think about releasing it

Is anyone able to earn coins via staking atm? Dev, when you get online could you please address this?

Dev if you've given up, would you be so kind to close the thread and let people know?
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MAMM] MammothCoin | TRUSTLESS WALLET UPDATED! OP UPDATED! on: September 04, 2014, 01:41:26 PM
Mammoth is not a scam. Coin supply is as expected and stable. Launch was fair and equitable.

Its undernourished. Dev is far to quiet.

The only time in the last couple months we saw a spike in price was when the dev said he was open to a name change and new branding. Maybe the continued dropping will get him back onto that idea - or at least here in the thread.

Maybe he sold what he had and is hoping to buy more low....or.....dude could have a dozen coins on the go since he's anonymous and just doesn't have time. No one knows for sure, but this is all on him.

Exactly, feel like only a relaunch with different name can save this

What is happening with Mamm? Not liking the drop in price or silence from dev team.

Dev is working or on holiday,no clue. I have seen new site though which looks really nice

Im legit starting to wonder if Super and Mamm dev actually know what they're doing. We haven't actually seen any coding and both coins are kinda dying, and now this fiasco. Maybe I'm wrong but i feel like this is it as for these 2 coins.

They seem to be 2 egocentrical idiots. Like really, you think you can survive without proper marketing and exhanges. Let me break it to you, by the end of the year there will be 100 more coins with similar tech and doing everything you are not doing right now. Bound to fail, and if you ever speak to MAMM dev again you can tell him he's the biggest moron out of the 2 of you, atleast you have that going for you.
