141  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [2100 TH] CKPool (kano.is) from the cgminer devs [0.9% PPLNS] on: April 21, 2015, 11:40:17 PM
Kano

It not the not found block issue it is the miner disconnects from the pool in the past few days there have been large drops where the moners slowed to 25% of there capabilities,  I have seen this several times then they drop completely,  I suspect a pool issue and they come back to normal and then i see there was a server reset.

I am very happy with CK pool and am grateful for all your support here.  So no I am not complaining at all.

Just wanted to make sure you know whats going on and to see if there is a issue that might need to be addressed.

Any idea whats up with the pool the past few days.  It seems like the pool needs to be reset every several days or the ability to catch blocks is non existence.  And my miners that are normally extremely stable have been dropping hash rate and almost going to 0.0...   Seems like something is up, even the p2p pools are catching blocks, and we have not in almost 3 and a half to 4 days

Just was wondering if there was a issue

I have had 7 S1, 5 s2, 7 s3 and now 14 S5 there support has always been excellent, any rma need has been met immediately and with needed replacement parts.  They have even cross shipped parts as needed.

I am extremely happy with what I have.  Grin

I have been mining here off and on for about 10 months.  I have never been paid better then 97%.  It seems to me that this is a way to get a 3% bounty for the ability to mine here.  Also another thing that really irritates  me is the pay out queue.  The pool immediately when a block is found.  But the miners can wait days to get paid.  I could see a pay out once a day or after the 120 confirmations.  But not this variable pay out queue that one can sit in for days or weeks.

It just does not make since to me.  And is not really fair to the miners.

Working now

Hmmm for some reason my miner will not connect to the solo.ckpool.org pool

And the Web interface shows errors also.

Count me in.  I am a network guy not a programmer.  I will be glad to assist with test servers and access to my private data center of needed.

And yes I will be glad to donate anything I can.

 Angry Angry Angry

Oh man the Block gods have not been shining on P2Pool lately.  Getting another long stretch.

Does anyone know where the distro for Debian 7.7 for the pypy utility that can run python scripts.

I am very interested in getting my node to its max performance.  I have a dul xeon 4 core processor pc with 24 gb ram So i have what it takes to run pypy

Thanks

So what version of firmware will your cgminer work with I can always back rev and update the cgminer
152  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1500 TH] p2pool: Decentralized, DoS-resistant, Hop-Proof pool on: February 19, 2015, 02:19:26 PM
CK  your last cgminer binary will not work with the Jan 2015 Bitmain S3 firmware.  the cgminer that is part of the Jan 2015 firmware is version 4.70  not 4.6.  Do you know if this has the fix in it.

Will I leave P2Pool probably not.  I will run a node because it does not cost a thing to do it.  I just look at bitcoin like a investment and with this luck rate one must be multi diversified.  Not all hashing power on one site.  Yes I am still hashing on p2pool just enough to keep making $$$ when blocks are found.

But bills have to be paid, So yes I mine on other sites as well.

And will move hash power around as i see the most efficient at the time.

Gee will it help us find blocks.  LOL  I dont think so.

157  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [3500 TH] p2pool: Decentralized, DoS-resistant, Hop-Proof pool on: February 15, 2015, 06:41:22 PM
Makes one wonder how many people will stick with P2Pool until the next block is found.  alot of has power has left.  Other pool stats do not look near as bad as p2pool  Any change there is a rogue machine sending bad work or something else to prevent blocks being found.  I am to new to know enough to figure this out.

But I do think there is more then just bad luck.

Any one want to join the conversation.

Man it is hard to believe no blocks in 5 days.  Gettin hard to stay mining on my own node.  Very much in the red about now...

Ruff is not the word for it.  Disaster is more like it.  Share are hard to get and Blocks none in almost 4 days now
