142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best coins to stake? on: June 02, 2016, 06:49:17 AM
Dash, you can have 1000 of those and running a master node, which kind of paying you some interest.

Agree. making DASH node(it cost ~9000$ now) is the best choice for passive income, and the development team and community has repeatedly demonstrated this. also i recommend you to stay away from cryptocurrencies with an unlimited supply of coins.

Agree too, you may get sway running Master node in Pi 2.
143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will the halving happen? on: June 02, 2016, 06:41:10 AM
Halving will increase the cost of mining, which in term will jack up the price.
I am thinking, like many others here, the price will at least double from 400.
144  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Muslim Bitcoiner on: June 02, 2016, 06:29:36 AM
I worked for a wealth management company, and we had Muslim clients.
They don't want to own tobacco, alcohol company, so we will create a special SP 500 companies index, but remove such companies from the index.
Interesting experience.
145  Other / Off-topic / Re: On my way out... on: June 02, 2016, 06:25:40 AM
When I had my first job, I was making like less than 2000, and I traded stocks and lost 5000, then I took out a loan of 1k, made 5k, after that, lost all, including the loan, at the same time, I lost my job.
I was out of work for a period of 3 years after that. Move in with friends, and working as waiter, life was miserable.
I survived, I think you can do that too.
146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should there be public awareness campaigns to warn new users about Ponzi schemes on: June 01, 2016, 06:40:59 AM
Been there done that. I was foolish enough investing in 3 high yields and lost all.
I would really appreciate if some one warned me before.

147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is the best future currency? on: May 27, 2016, 06:52:05 AM
Its the best currency only because there is no interference from government and also we don't nee to pay any tax on it that makes it really unique.
how altcoin or other cryptocurremcy? Another coin also has decentralized nature. what makes bitcoin different from the like? maybe one day. bitcoin will have a competitor of its kind ?

Because Bitcoin is the first, accepted by many users and stores. No altcoin comes close at this point.
148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paypal chargeback concerns for Bitcoin related transaction is a myth on: May 27, 2016, 06:36:51 AM
My feeling is Paypal don't want to hear about Bitcoin, so if it is a Bitcoin related transaction, the first one mentioned Bitcoin will lose. And then Paypal will protect buyer, if buyer claim he receive something not the same as description, then Paypal will refund him...
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CME Group Bitcoin Index on: May 27, 2016, 05:28:53 AM
How is future traded related to Bitcoin index?
150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone have plan to make income on bitcoins :) on: May 21, 2016, 05:27:48 AM
Again, only reliable way I can make coin is signature campaign. I tried cloud mining, lost in both, I tried HYIP, the domain is for sale now. What else I tried, faucet, but making much less than signature campaign, sad.
151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you a victim of TeslaCrypt ransomware? Decrypt Files Using Master Key [Free] on: May 20, 2016, 04:06:28 AM
The master key is a welcome news for many people, although I am not affected, I am saving a copy of the key.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (Eth) Who bought at $8-$10 and had the balls to wait till $13-14? on: May 20, 2016, 04:00:44 AM
There are two things you need to stay away in bitcoin theme, first is cloud mining, second is alt coins not used, including ETH. Only okay alt are ltc ans dash.
Said this, I will not buy any ETH until it actually is useful.
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: hack the bitcoin network for 1000 btc? on: May 19, 2016, 07:01:10 AM
Lol, nothing scary about this ad, the guy is obviously joking. He's basically assigning a near-impossible task to whoever wants the job and he wants the hackers to hand over 95% of the loot to him in the unlikely event they succeed. To put it simply he's asking if anyone out there wants to give him 950 BTC for free  Cheesy

This is very concise and accurate summary of the post.
I was puzzled by the original post for a while, what the heck was the original poster talking about, right?
Thanks again.
154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coin Citadel is going to buy lots of Bitcoins over the next few days! on: May 19, 2016, 05:45:50 AM
I am interested in how they buy all the coins, just curious. for some gossip.
Maybe wire money to Chinese exchange, and but there, since there are heated discussion about them faking all the volumes.
155  Other / Archival / Re: Do you have paypal account even though you have bitcoin? on: May 19, 2016, 05:42:02 AM

156  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are floppy disks safe to store wallets? on: May 19, 2016, 05:39:59 AM
This is hilarious. Okay first I can guess how old are you now. Second I will say, a piece of paper last for ever, even exposed to a magnet.
157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So, why do we need to use Bitcoin? on: May 18, 2016, 06:10:27 AM
To preserve cash. I mean, Bitcoin has a clear upper limit, all fiat, USD, Euro, Yen, has unlimited supply.
158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you trust stuff like Hashocean? on: May 18, 2016, 06:08:22 AM
From my experience, do not trust any cloud mining,I had two very bad experience with them, I will not name them, but they were all very famous in this board.
159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: May 18, 2016, 06:02:28 AM

1 word => That's impossible.

Banks will forever be there, they're not going anywhere.

I believe that also, but I think there would appear a bank for bitcoins. Bank bitcoin maybe not just digital bank, but physical bank either
like other bank the usual way we are using and know it.
Banks won't disappear and will be always there as long as there is a cycle of economy in the world.

Physical  bank for bitcoin would be a great idea. But there are this risk that could happen. Government will want something on you for creating a business. Tax will be paid. Plus many more files and documents before starting this one. I guess the real deal would be banks that are already there will be connected to bitcoins. That way no more hassle will be done.

Yes tax is given even bitcoin is a digital currency I think government will need to create a bill regarding with these kinds of issue.
And the most close thing I am even thinking is that banks will adopt bitcoins.

From user prospective, you want a bank accept Bitcoin deposit, pay back principal with interest in Bitcoin. From bank's angle, Bank will have to exchange Bitcoin to fiat, make money in fiat, exchange back to Bitcoin and pay out interest. You know there is huge exchange rate risk for Bank because Bitcoin price is so volatile.
160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SWIFT hacked...again. What does it mean for Bitcoin? on: May 15, 2016, 05:56:02 AM
Holy cow,I did not know about attack in Feb. I thought central bank is safe, much safer than my account in lousy bank.
Can central bank reverse the transaction, I mean, hacker can not take 800 million cash from bank and disappear, is it?
So the receiving bank will have to reverse the transaction.
