Hey everyone, I'm so glad I kept my factom but I just have a question now I've seen the investment opportunity for factom Inc.
What is the total number of factoids that are being created? When we invested on koinify did we as a whole only invest in around 10% or did we actually buy all the factoids that will ever be created?
Also, are the factoids we bought getting broken down, say 10 software tokens for 1 factoid?
Any answers would be great!! Great work so far factom team!
The post-sale number of Factoids is 8,759,944. As mentioned on the Koinify Token Sale page 50% of the total Factoids were up for sale. The rest are 30% to be distributed to early contributors and 20% for early purchasers. Once the network goes live there will be Factoids generated by the network and distributed to Factom nodes and Federated servers. That is an incentive to help maintain the network with resources and computing power. The Factoids purchased on koinify are 1 for 1. Hope this helps.  Great !!! Waiting for the start |

Hey guys, development and work on the XAI project still continues on. There is a lot of work to do and limited resources, but it has not stopped. My time horizon on this is long term, but it won't be abandoned. A couple of things I've got cooking: - Implementing the new wallet design from our designer - Solution for the scripting shell that cross-compiles on all platforms - I was contacted by a guy from SuperNET and responded - I am working with an advisor who has also advised some other notable projects on bolstering our presence in the Asian market I have also been looking at a cool board I found: https://www.parallella.org/These boards are affordable and similar to a raspi, but have a multicore risc processor on board. Down the road this could be a pretty cool hardware device for XAI so people can get an off the shelf computing "neurominer". I'm hoping to get my hands on one of these boards soon. Good luck to moving forward with this very promising project. |

I suppose I'm trying to understand the reasons not to issue a third-party token.
Just need to be patient, if you have read our latest dev update it explains there when we expect the wallet to be ready. I think it's because the Factom devs want to avoid the usual pump-and-dump games that go on around here, not to mention an ethical commitment about not letting it be traded while the product is still vapourware. Lol. Are you newbie? This serious devs don't care about any P'n'Dumps. Factom project has a huge venture investments and financial background. Developers are generally not interested in knowing factoid price at the markets, it's not make any sense. Factoids are like air for living of all Factom system and will have high value anyway |
