141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does XC uses multisig address and transaction? The answer is NO!! Facts here! on: August 16, 2014, 06:05:45 PM
lol, XC supporters, you try to use my example of XC multisig addresses to support your argument??

I created them to SHOW YOU what is a XC multisig address, since you never saw them before Grin Grin

Now please show me in your **blockchain** a multisig address with transactions associated with it, so people can see how it worked. You don't create a multisig address for fun, you use it for some transactions.

So stupid and desperate, oh well...
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does XC uses multisig address and transaction? Looks like the answer is NO on: August 16, 2014, 04:49:35 PM
OK, for those from XC who never seen a real XC multisig address, let me show you what it is, and you can tell me if there are any exist today on the blockchain Grin

All the one posted in the above links by synechist are regular XC addresses, they are not multisig addresses, why? because XC's multisig address starts with 4, not X.

I downloaded XC wallet, and from there in console, I created 2 multisig addresses.

I used these 3 private-public key pairs:

public key: 033942099d7fb91a51b0e2899040c36cf5337002f43b2e80ec3afe3c81cbb5a3db
private key: X35fMeU3c159SX4tWVnA7ZW7DxTyw7BCqEmt92Nw5N87kezytJSZ

public key: 02733ae45bf1d7fc5b24dcdbf54c0dd2b106a39233e65cdb47fd0fd925734f4b83
private key: X7oy79myB5WmKXAjey6oZPfo12BHmwRfD9k4rmL2oYUMdjff48NU

public key: 02307e5d3924fa8d95093ed61bfa4ecb4bf108196013ee1de466589bcf3fb212b8
private key: X2z4smxErHnkVBZnWzfPMDMNdMvD3mAnB7w7YD1BFeppf3iqUyWJ

these pairs are derived from the addresses I have. From there I created 2 addresses: 2-of-3 multisig address and 3-of-3 multisig address (though this one is of no use - just to show):

2-of-3 multisig address: 4ShqMQFoQFLBzhXDs3aJJMnDNLZ9JTrxKH
3-of-3 multisig address: 4XCmiwfQCm6gQNrW6kaXZJawLPekQGQf5o

BTW, you can make some deposits to 2-of-3 multisig address, and I can show you how to spend it. I can do a tutorial for you guys who have no ideas on what is a multisig address. Grin Grin
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does XC uses multisig address and transaction? Looks like the answer is NO on: August 16, 2014, 04:28:00 PM
Can anyone show me XC's multisig addresses and their associated transactions?
Would these satisfy your curiosity?

these are multi-in/out tx, they are not multisig tx, I don't even see a multisig address there. They are all regular XC addresses.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does XC uses multisig address and transaction? Looks like the answer is NO on: August 16, 2014, 04:25:37 PM
But I am puzzled by the fact that despite they talk like this, I don't see a single multisig address in XC nor do I see any multisig tx. As we all know, these are the central parts, if we do use this technology,
Except multi-sig is only part of what XC is doing. With XC we have a developer who is very interested in the underlying issues and concepts, and a man who has some very relevant technical experience in the field.
So we have something a bit different, an entire platform with many different facets.

using m-of-m multisig, lmao Grin Grin Grin what can you do with a m-of-m multisig? looks like the dev got only the name, and used it wrong Cool
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SUPERCOIN]First P2p Decentralized Trustless Anonymous Wallet New Thread on: August 16, 2014, 04:59:05 AM
You guys do know that XC has had a released and working decentralized trustless multisig anon wallet for over a month now, right?

Ok, who let this guy in? Smiley

I know that, but why XC can not even provide a multisig address?? This is a 2sec job. Want a Mamm multisig or super multisig address? I can give you immediately. Also why they say m-of-m multisig? Is m-of-m multisig of any use? the word like this can only be spoken by people who have no ideas on how multisig works. People almost never use m-of-m, because if one people there is bad, the wallet will be locked forever. People use m-of-n (where m < n) multisig. These people think they know a few buzz words, and they have the world. Typical mentally challenged people Grin

I'd not bash any coins, but I am amazed that some coins can move forward very well by just providing buzz words and very very vague explanations of what they do...

Super is taking a complete different road. We provide the best of breed in technology, and the dev team provides all the details, without fearing other people copycat the ideas. Because super's dev team is the best!
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SUPERCOIN]First P2p Decentralized Trustless Anonymous Wallet New Thread on: August 16, 2014, 03:15:25 AM
lmao, XC claimed they use multisig to support trustless system, but so far they can't even provide a single multisig address:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=741018.0

what a joke. Look at Supercoin/mammothcoin, they not only have plenty multisig addresses and transactions, but also provided very detailed workflow in the whitepaper. Everyone can see who actually has and implemented the multisig tech, who actually has the trustless system.

Some coins are only good at promo and hype.

XC is a joke Grin
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does XC uses multisig address and transaction? Looks like the answer is NO on: August 16, 2014, 01:05:54 AM
Yes Supercoin dev published very detailed workflows, maybe XC can copy it and implement it.... but it will take weeks to do  Grin Grin Grin

The alpha testing is going on now, and seems working very well... Cheesy

Great to hear, I am looking forward to beta testing on SuperCoin (Aug. 20th)

TO THE MOON

You can also join alpha testing if you want, it is on the MAMM network. real network. Contact supercointeam if you are interested...

I know most of you is not even heard the technology (Multisig) we used. And you can watch about another marketplace product build on Multisig.

Watch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oK85PCee3pU Learn What's the real powerful technology behind Supercoin product. He explains mainly how SuperCoin works (Listen carefully)

Do not allow us lose,  it's your job to award true innovation makers.

We are truly amazing first Crypto currency who did multisig decentralization first time. It cost us long coding hours and back pain. We did it against all fud and reasons not to do. Because we love what we do. See the difference.

It is not easy thing to do that's why no one were able to deliver clear Schemes, diagrams and true product before our teams.

Interesting...OpenBazaar also use 2-of-3 multisig transactions. Supercoin's new trtustless system uses exactly the same... OpenBazaar uses for Buyer/Seller/Notary, Supercoin uses for Sender/Mixer/Guarantor, very similar situations, very interesting.

In a way, it is a proof that the technology supercoin used is a very good one!
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MAMM] MammothCoin| REAL TRUSTLESS DECENTRALISED Anon Wallet Coming soon on: August 12, 2014, 07:45:29 AM
who is the guarantor

you should check the original post, and read the part 1 of the whitepaper, it's all explained.

below is the original post

Here is the 2nd part of the whitepaper, which gives a high level in-depth view of the trustless algorithm we use. Please refer to the part 1 if you need to understand some terms. Part 1 is here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=618552.msg8272890#msg8272890

==
The following diagram shows a high level description of the trustless system algorithm. It shows the “normal” case where everything goes as expected.

The next diagram shows the case where, after step 6, the Sender is not satisfied with the Mixer’s txid. This could happen if the Sender cannot verify Mixer’s transaction, or Mixer did not send enough funds to the destination. In which case Sender asks Guarantor to do the arbitration. The new scenario are marked in brown lines and explained in the diagram.

There are other possible scenarios, that we will describe in the next parts, where we will show details of the algorithm and steps. But from the above two cases you see why multisig is tightly linked with trustless system and how it creates a bonding among all parties where they have to follow the anonymous transfer rules.

I am looking forward to coin's long term roadmap, this will boost people's confidence.

Very important message to make.

You guys know I post a lot of charts around but this time I have something to say. This weekend we have witness several crash on the largest crypto markets: Litecoin, Cloakcoin, Blackcoin, Nxt, etc. A lot of crypto have been lagging since.

I would like to point your attention to the recent price activity in SuperCoin indicating that a new leadership is coming and we might see a lot of money coming into this market really soon.

I have studied a lot of charts and cryptocurrencies this weekend and I have many reasons to believe that we could see a price increase to 6000-7000 satoshis very quickly. The days building up to "SuperSend Trustless" and the Aug. 25th release date could bring much more investors after that sending the price above 15 000 satoshis.

Trade at your own risk, crypto is a very dangerous market but there is some fundamental strengths in Supercoin right now.

Agree, good analysis Smiley

Are you worried about being found out by unwanted parties?
Find out the definition of anonymity with SuperCoin...

lol, this is good point. It is literally 1 min for SUPER vs 1 hr for BTC Grin

We are still working on it.

This is great Smiley

Super is going on strong, with price almost doubled last few days, I saw some profit taking. But good news is yet to come, I keep my faith. This dev team is the best I've ever seen.

Yes but "profit taking" is nothing suprising and very characteristic of a bull market, like I said earlier this afternoon, it's best to put buy orders in this situation because weak hands dump their small profit before the big rise. It's what we call in french "précoce". Like a premature ejaculation, you can't enjoy the whole ride because you're too quick on the sell button.

Some guys sold to me at 2000, 2100, 2150 tonight. This market is beautiful.

Yes I agree, this is a normal process.

Yes makes sense
