141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Local/Traditional Gambling Spots on: April 01, 2024, 10:40:12 AM
Have you  ever had the thought of visiting a local gambling spot before, or have you been there before? I had to go there days ago. The place is characterized by old men gamblers and this board game which we call it in our place, is called draft in the local dialect here, some call it Okwe, and others call it different names in their various languages.

I noticed something there, the old men who play this game together always play with fun irrespective of the fact that they gamble, they laugh, talk, and make fun of themselves while they gamble without anyone noticing that they are gambling. Although I have been around them a few times while they play, I never had any idea they gambled. They do that maturely, and you would never understand they do so.

It is never like this when the young ones are playing that game. They always end up shouting match, fighting and quarreling, and making it obvious to people that they are gamblers, which is not appropriate. At first, the environment where they sit to play the game is very rowdy, which is not like that of the older men; they are well-coordinated and mature while playing. This is what the local gambling spot looks like in my country, and it has been going on like that from time to time without any thought of change from the young ones who engage themselves in the game. I have also asked them, just as I did to the older men, but the narrative is quite different from what the older man told me. The younger ones are desperate to get the money, which has made them gamble and forget so soon the tenets and principles of gambling.

The older men gamble, but maturely, and when they gamble, they make fun of the games played, and in some cases, they correct themselves while playing. Despite the fact that they gamble, they point out lapses and errors their counterparts made while playing, laugh over them, and do not mind if money is involved in the game they play.

Have you visited the traditional gambling sport  in your place? How do the traditional gambling games and spots in your country look? Have you gambled the local way?  How was your experience, then?

142  Economy / Gambling / Re: coins.game confiscated 32,800 dollars of my money and blocked the user!!! on: March 31, 2024, 11:43:22 PM
What the heck are Denis and the rest of the Coins.Game team doing? Denis clearly checked this forum out several days back, but his last post was way back in January 2024 which is completely weird.

It's like they don't really care about their reputation anymore which is why they aren't bothering replying to these scam accusations. This doesn't look good for their site.

What an error. Do you mean for this long they have had no much activity and engagements here and they want the community to patronise their services. It is not appropriate for such actions of theirs. And from the looks, it seems OP has not been attended to by the casino and neither have their representative responded positively to OP complaints here which is not healthy for their casino.
I think this is not a good sign and gamblers should be cautious about the casino for now because there is every possibility that the casino might be facing internal crisis since they have been mute about OP complaints and their representative is not as active as before.
143  Economy / Gambling / Re: does betonline.com send an sms when you sign up? on: March 31, 2024, 11:23:20 PM
If you win some money, they can make up the excuse that you use a VPN, they must say that VPN is supported or not, if they say nothing about VPN, do not use VPN, they will use that against you when you win.

What would be the cause for your funds to be frozen? Just because you use a VPN they'll easily freeze an account? I think that is not a just practice of a casino, they have to ensure that there are TOS to be in place and being followed, if VPN is not mentioned in the TOS, then you'll not violate anything if you are using a VPN, unless if they decide to scam which any argument will not work anymore.

I think your point is valid here and I fully support your opinion. As a casino putting all the required guidelines on their terms and conditions of service is very important because there all players who visit can read it properly before engaging. Looking at VPN affairs, if a casino writes about VPN on their terms and conditions, it is likely their is a clause holding VPN usage which you as a gambler would need to read before engaging with them but if there is nothing like VPN there I think they have no moral rights to confiscate a gamblers fund just because they use VPN which was not captured on their terms and conditions. So that should not be a case of argument as the casino should know that already. They can put up an argument if the stated that on their policy but can not do otherwise unless they have the intentions of scamming people.
144  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who does gambling addiction affect the most? on: March 31, 2024, 11:14:47 PM
The first person who will feel the adverse effects of gambling is the gambler himself, and if you ask about who the next person is who has the potential to be affected is clearly the closest people to the addicted gambler such as their family and also other close people such as friends where the problem scenario can be different - different but usually always about financial problems where usually gambling addicts like to make their closest people a target to borrow money when they run out of money to gamble, which is simply that they borrow money but without knowing how to repay it and usually this is the problem between them and their close friends where gambling addicts borrow money but cannot pay it because even though they have money, their main thoughts will still lead to gambling which in the end they use the money for gambling instead of paying debts.

And another problem is with their own family where usually someone who is addicted usually experiences changes in their behavior and personality, becomes more aggressive and easily emotional especially after experiencing defeat which even the worst thing is that they can commit violence against their family members.

The results of the poll is almost 50-50 now. But I believe there's no need to ask this as it is of course very obvious that the gambler and his immediate family are the ones who are directly affected by his gambling habits. Or if the gambler is not living with his immediate family, the people affected are the ones who are living with him because they can see or feel directly what he is going thru. The emotional roller-coaster ride alone will have an impact on the people living with him.

I agree with your opinion on this though but I believe that  as a gambler who is reasonable enough to know that his or her family would be affected by their gambling lifestyle, they should go very far from their environment when gambling. You know doing such around your living environment is very undermining. It can make people disrespect and call you out at anytime and using you as a reference or example for a bad gambling lifestyle which is very detrimental to the health of your family.
I have nothing against gamblers but to some point, it is nice as a gambler you should think with your thinking faculty properly. I am not in support of gambling within your living environment. If you want to do that as a family man, you can go far away from your living environment or you do that online so that the people within your environment would not be able to detect you. By so doing, you are saving your family of some stress from your gambling lifestyle.
145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Claw Machines: a category of gambling? on: March 31, 2024, 11:02:23 PM
I really do not think this is gambling. This is fun rather because of the nature of the game. This game can be played with the family in a kind of outing where you and your family can just try their luck one after the other in the open and it is always done in the open for all to see.
This type of game does not require skills or tactics to win them but rather being smart enough to play the game. I believe good gamers are likely to win this more because they always play game often and know how to play games of this nature without any much stress on their path.
146  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why they need a license if bitcon is not money? on: March 31, 2024, 10:09:16 PM
Government is just a funny body that think they can do anything and whatever the want. Well for the fact that they are issuing licence to casinos, means that they want money but not just money anyways for documentation purposes but however, casinos are business ventures and as such the government would want to take task from them because her citizens patronise them for services which means the casino too are making huge revenue from them coupled with the fact that most do not win the games rather they lose their money and are not compensated because they are gambling.
Possibly these are amongst the reasons why government are hell bent on taking tax from casinos and issuing them operational license because they too want their own share of the cake the casino take from gamblers.
147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does affilate programs work in casinos? on: March 31, 2024, 03:10:39 PM
That's not a big deal man. Affiliate marketing is more like a referral stuff but well packaged and upgraded. This particular aspect of marketing is accord to influencers with large numbers of followers or a person who manages a large community. In some cases, the casino verifies to know the genuity of the affiliate before reaching terms and conditions.

They create a special link for them to use for their followers or community to register through. The more traffic the website gets through the link to register, the more rewards the marketer gets. The rewards comes per registered account or depending on the agreement binding both parties involved in the contract.
148  Other / Off-topic / Re: Noticing sign of gambling addiction before it gets worst on: March 31, 2024, 02:36:08 PM
OP, as a gambler, you should know when you have began to get addicted to gambling because you alone would first detect when you have started gambling beyond your budget and time. People do not really detect your gambling addiction fast but only when it has gone beyond control that is when they know and by then it is already too late because you as an individual have known this for long and decided to keep it to yourself.

At first you begin to exceed your gambling time and budget that is the time you put for yourself to leave the casino house or logout online and also another thing you should note when you are getting addicted is that you gamble beyond your budget per gamble time or game. You find out that even after finishing your initial amount you budget for the day gamble, you still add more funds to gamble more than your daily gambling budget. With this attitude, you have already been addicted to gambling.
149  Economy / Gambling / Re: My experience on live bet on: March 31, 2024, 01:51:06 PM
OP, I was thinking you could understand  the nature of game you entered. I will only assume you are a newbie or it is your first time gambling and seeing such features as well. What you were given was a cash out option for you to choose if in the end your game does not win, at least you could get a little cash out from your game. This feature is mostly good when you are having any doubt about the game to end in your favour. In most cases, gamblers opt for it and walk away with the little amount presented rather than losing all at once.
So the casino presented you the cash out features for you to choose either to take the cash or continue the game and accept the end result with fate.
150  Economy / Services / Re: How to make $100,000+ a year 1h-2h per day on: March 31, 2024, 01:32:45 PM
The best way to make $100,000 per year in 1 or 2 hours per day is this...  You convince a lot of strangers on the internet that you can make $100,000 a year with only a few hours of effort per week.  Then you tell them that you can teach them how to do it as well for only the cost of a $100 online course.  You get 1,000 idiots to believe you and pay for the course.  BOOM!  $100,000 in a year with only a few hours of work per week convincing people you know what you're doing and are successful.  Good luck and happy learning!  Let me know if you want to buy my course where I copy paste this into a word document for $50 (half price sale).

OP thinks he could  cajole members  with his tricks. It is not possible to just within 1 to 2 hours and make such a huge amount of money with this OP kind of business. Till this moment I am wondering if OP really thinks before he or she acts because this post alone makes me feel OP had gone nuts to putting up a thread of this nature.

I am looking and waiting for the member that would fall victim of this stunt by OP. Even a newbie would run  away from such unimaginable dream by OP to present such here for business. OP should know that at this as stage of development, such a ploy does not work and it is a mission in futility.
151  Economy / Services / Re: How to make $100,000+ a year 1h-2h per day on: March 30, 2024, 07:05:55 PM
I was wondering if this could be for real because I really have not seen any body that would expose their means or source of income that way when in happens that is their major source of income, never. OP I became curious to ask you this question. Are you for real? Do  you think people here are dumb ass like you to fall cheap for this trick? I think you should go to other platforms and try your luck there because nobody would come your way here.

If its real for sure he will not waste his time to post same thing like this and enjoy his earnings then became busy on other things like multiple investments. He provably not gonna share this if he's really earning that huge figure since it can spoil and might he can't earn with it anymore. By posting that it just leave an impression that he just want to catch those greedy people who want to earn easy money. For sure now he know that he can't fool people on this kind of methods or offer he share so maybe he need to do more better approach and find more legit ways to earn since he can't do shady business especially here in forum where anybody is willing to share their insights towards those shady offer they read in this forum.

I can not stop laughing though. OP thinks he can come here to play games with members here. It is not possible that one would be making such am amount of money and would want to expose such strategy to the public. Does he not think that the more he expose it the more people would know his secret and the more such avenue to generate income begins to drop.

OP thinks he is smart to play millions of people here onboard this platform. I think he met his Waterloo and got flagged for that.
152  Economy / Gambling / Re: GETSATS.CLUB, a new NO-KYC, lightning network, onion casino | LIMITED FREE BET on: March 30, 2024, 06:56:31 PM
Welcome to bitcointalk platform mate.  Since you have said this "More games coming soon..." I will presume the website is still on development phase but can be used for service because I perused the website for myself to see how your service looks like because the nature of this service as you have mentioned here looks quite different from other casinos I have encountered on this platform. Possibly this might be a new pattern  though and I commend your efforts for this.

I see that you are trying to do away with most of what other casinos does by demanding for too much  details which is in accordance with government policies of the various places they operate from making them centralized casinos out there.

I have read your replies to questions pertaining to your terms and conditions of service which you have not. Do you not think the FAQ and TOS would give and guide prospective visitors to your website on how to use your casino? Your TOS could help if stated could help visitors to your website know and have clues  about your website and how to navigate through.

It would be nice you include the above listed features wether you are a centralized or decentralized casino. It would be good  visitors have clue about your casino and what it  stands for so as to guide them through their visit to your website.

Hi,
thank you very much for the interest!

We will soon make a tutorial page to understand how the casino works, and
we will write a TOS and FAQ that will state explicitely that we do not have particular
restrictions. We allow users from all over the world to play and we do not have a ban policy,
because we are not allowing users to make something we don't want in the first place. And as you can see,
there are no registration, just a recovery key/password to save your session (and balance). So we can't
really ban nobody, since they could make another session.
Thank you very much for all of the efforts you took to write to us, we will improve ourself through your words.

Indeed this is what a decentralised casino looks like. I have gone through your website again and I can confirm that you have now updated your tos. This is what it means listening to the input and opinions of others. You are a good listener and communicator. You understand the business principles and applications. I have no doubt you would go a long way.

Lastly, you should learn to quote reply that you do o not occupy the thread alone otherwise you would be tagged spamming your own board. If you can, edit and quote reply, that would be okay and it keeps your thread coordinated.

Hi,
thank you very much for all the compliments!
I will try to understandard better how to use the functionality of bitcointalk. Is there a guide for newbie? Thank you very much!

It is good you get acquainted with the platform so you do not get yourself into issues. You can check out this board and see for yourself what is obtainable here. You should read them and understand them properly. On the beginners and help board, there you can ask questions of there is anything you do not understand so that members could help you explain things to you for your better understanding.

Here is the link to the thread for you to read about the platform. They are just some tips on activities here.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1689727.0

Thank you very much for the suggestions! We will read it for sure

It is nice you are really a good listener. I see you will have a smooth ride here for this act. I am very happy because this is a good sign of a good manager that listens to their clients. Like I always say first impression matters and you just did very well by abiding to the forum policies and as a matter of fact, members here like such act and would be looking forward to seeing you put up something within a short time for patronage.

Do you have any plans for publicity and awareness of your casino on this platform? I believe this could help you boast your presence here reaching out to members all round the platform. You can look into it for a good marketing.
153  Economy / Gambling / Re: CSGOPolygon.com⭐BTC and CSGO gambling site⭐Best reff system⭐Promo code: ADMIN on: March 30, 2024, 06:37:29 PM
CSGOPolygon.com is a well-reputed platform, but I can't see much activity here on this thread.
I don't understand why it isn't trending much here compared to other platforms.

I think OP must be more proactive to increase the reach of many other users.

Thank you for your advice Smiley

I am surprised to see  that this casino has been here for a long time but has no reputation. Being relevant and known takes a lot as casinos would always want to be at the top of it all contending with each other and the only way this can be achieved is through publicity and awareness. Why not try contact a good and reliable manager to help you fine with.

Just see them when they launch there casino but I didn't bother to test them and maybe the reason shy they are not  so known its because they are not doing any good marketing that's why there's no people talk about their casino or even their existence. If you talk about reputation well maybe this is questionable for other people but if they someone could able take the risk and try since they are now showing some sign of being active here then maybe we can get a feedback from them.

Also they should spread out the awareness of their casino by doing a marketing campaign and maybe for that there's a lot of gamblers that they exist in this forum.

Possibly the reason why they are not known here is publicity. No activity on their thread, nothing to show about their engagement here. No reputable member talking about them. Seems like the casino died a long time ago and and reappeared from nowhere. This alone would make people here sceptical about the casino and would want to avoid them. However, if they get engaged with awareness and publicity by contacting a good manager, their casino would be back on track and members would be confident in  their casino and would want to try them.

We understand the importance of engagement, transparency, and reputation in the gaming industry. Rest assured, we are actively working on initiatives to increase our visibility, engage with players, and demonstrate our commitment to fair play and customer satisfaction.

Your suggestion about contacting a good manager for awareness and publicity is duly noted. We'll be exploring avenues to enhance our presence and ensure that players have confidence in our casino.

Thank you for bringing these concerns to our attention. We value your feedback and look forward to regaining your trust and confidence in our casino. If you have any further suggestions or questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.
I like the fact that you take out time to attend to your potential clients here as required of you. You know here first impression matters as that would hell how you handle situations at hand and how far you can go as a casino.

Lastly I checked your terms and conditions of service where you talked about not using VPN and I have this question to ask you. What if a player who's IP has been reading a particular country not on your prohibited list and likely traveled to another country on your prohibited list as maybe they play a game and win but used a VPN and when it is time to withdraw and upon detecting it is discovered that the IP changed as a result of the VPN used What will be the resolution of the casino?
154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The power of HODLing BTC on: March 30, 2024, 06:22:41 PM
Possibly the owner could have other means by which they earn a living because I know that such amount is so tempting to hold with the price fluctuations.

We all know the power and benefits of long-term holding, the longer you hold, the greater the profit . But the problem is that everyone's life is different and most of us here are people who need money to sustain our lives . So holding has many limitations and that is something we have to accept .

Like me, I have an outside source of income besides investing in bitcoin . And my salary is only enough for me to spend to maintain daily life, but to be able to buy a house , buy a car or provide better needs for my children is impossible. Therefore , I need to sell my bitcoins during the upcoming bull season to serve my life's needs.

Holding on is sometimes easy for some but also a challenge for many .

I understand your point mate. You know sometimes life just happens like that. People that could hold for a long time possibly have no much financial challenges of that nature. Some could but in some cases, when a pressing need comes up which needs urgent attention maybe in that situation there might be no spare cash for them and in that case they would fall back to their savings for a back up which would warrant them to sell their Bitcoin to solve their problems at hand and I believe this is amongst the reasons why Bitcoin is good to keep as a reserve. You just might not know when anything of such nature might come up but that is not what I wish anybody to experience in life.
155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where is the fun when you lose your money? on: March 30, 2024, 06:03:56 PM
That is why gamblers are advised to gamble responsibly and with what they could afford to lose.
Some gamblers will tell you they are gambling responsibly, they will make you believe they can control themselves, they can stop gambling at any time which they want, but if you notice people like that, you will see that they are already addicted to gambling, and they can’t control themselves just as they say.
They don't show it to the public because they're scared that they will be judged accordingly with their addiction. And that's why even if it's visible that they're addicted, they'd just decline and say that they're fun and will even give advise to the others that they should watch themselves so that they won't be addicted. With that, they only want people to see on how good they are with their attitude but with their gambling addiction, they're shy to show it to anyone. I guess that even their closest friends and relatives is that they don't want to let them know that they're on that state because it's a huge shame on them that they've been known as good people but they've fallen to gambling addiction. Actually, it's a separate thing to be thought of but you know these days, one mistake and all of the goodness and kindness you did to them will be forgotten by just one mistake or by being a gambling addict. I'm pointing out that people shouldn't be addicted to gambling but still there's a balance on it but about you having an alter ego, that's why they don't admit that they're addicted to gambling.

Most times, addiction comes as a result of financial issues. When a gambler is pressed with financial challenges and have no other means of meeting up with his or her financial demand, they just fall back to gambling as a last resort and rescue. They just go ahead to keep gambling and trying of luck and it keeps repeating and repeating to some extent of borrowing to gamble to see of they could try their luck and see if they could win. I have encountered many of them and the situation is very devastating because they no longer have that self-control as they are bent on winning a game to sort out financial issues they are into and in that case they keep gambling and it continues that way.
156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a scam on: March 30, 2024, 05:52:43 PM
I have come to understand that people who are calling Bitcoin names are those who are not well learned about Bitcoin. They are always quick to judge whatever result that comes out from the mouth just to discredit Bitcoin but little did they know that Bitcoin is now all over the world and people are tuning in to adoption and acceptance. OP I think telling people about it would help alot to change their mentality towards Bitcoin and enlightenment which is very much important to keep them informed about Bitcoin happenings.
Those who judge Bitcoin is open based on their knowledge will of course think that Bitcoin will make someone lose by holding it, but if they want to find out about Bitcoin of course they will be interested in using Bitcoin as their investment and it will certainly be very useful for their future.
You are right, by giving them the correct understanding of Bitcoin, of course this will reduce someone who misunderstands Bitcoin and this is very good because they will be able to teach other people about Bitcoin correctly according to what they already understand.

It is only those who are eager to learn and know what Bitcoin is all about can devote their time but as for those who are adamant, they will have to need time to really understand the fundamentals of Bitcoin and how it works so that they do continue in their misconceptions and being a a barrier to themselves from having knowledge of how Bitcoin works. I have had many experiences with this kind of people. We talk, we sometimes argue and we resolve to the fact that they have seen the reality with proof should facts to agreeing with my explanations.

does betonline.com send an sms when you sign up?
Do they keep your money if they find out you use vpn?

In some casinos, when registering, what is only required is your email alone, but lately, some require numbers as an option for you to choose from, but if any casino makes it compulsory, then it is not right.

With respect to  using vpn, it is not advisable to do so at early stage. You should read the terms and conditions of the service before engaging. It is good that you do so that you know if your country is among the names of restricted nations so that you do not  waste your time and resources with the casino; otherwise, you will have yourself to blame. Lastly, that casino name sounds strange and I have not seen them here before. You can correct me if I am wrong; this is the first time such a name appears here. I hope they will come here for better publicity and engagement.
158  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can I make my own signature and use it on bitcointalk freely? on: March 29, 2024, 09:51:54 PM
Welcome to bitcointalk platform. You have asked a good question, which every new member curious about the platform would do. At first, I would ask if you want to promote your brand because that should be the reason why you have asked this question or if you have some company you want to promote.

As you can see from the responses of other reputable high-rank members, wearing of signature is not bad, you can design one signature for yourself and wear and also if you do not, a link to how one can design a signature have already been provided for which you can easily learn from. Do not wear a scam or phising link if you do not want your account tobe tagge dor banned. Do not promote things not inline with the forum principles. Avoid mixers as well. but yu can not wear signature as a newbie. You will have to upgrade your account by growing up through ranks before you can do that. So you still have work to do here.

160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is that one reason that motivates you to invest in bitcoin even at ATH ? on: March 29, 2024, 07:33:59 PM
There are a million and one reasons people find Bitcoin worth investing in. Many people invest to make a profit which I believe is among the major goals of investors, some invest in Bitcoin for the safety of their assets, and some do that because they want to be in charge of their assets and not a third party to control, some also do that because they can move from one place to another with their assets right with them i.e mobility, some do that to measure the value of their wealth.

However, it would please you to know that Bitcoin is the future digital currency, which is why it has gained the traction and height it has attained. Bitcoin is freedom, freedom from third-party control and lastly, freedom of the unbanked.
