A usb 2.0 hub should provide enough power for the unit to mine at 2.7gh/s. Where you mining with Blues at the same time? As blues seem to screw with the communication of most other devices.

One was a 7 port d-link, I'd have to check the other USB make and get back to you. No, nothing else was in the hub.

I have a friend I've since spoken to, who has a 'nanofury' from someone else off of ebay, and also has the same problem when using d-link and other usb 2 hubs, so I guess its a compatibility issue Huh
144  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Multi Signature Address Script and Escrow Service on: December 29, 2013, 12:05:55 PM
this is great! keep up the good work.

* I think it would great to explain the process and concepts in more detail on the site. What is a redeem script?

* say I want to implement the following: pay 0.01 BTC to address #A12 if the year in the timestamp of the last block is equal to 2014. what would it take to make this work?

* btw, the link on the site to your profile is broken. I think you want this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=34834

Thanks for the feedback Smiley

You're right, I will defiantly add more information to the site about the process shortly.

A "redeem script" contains 2 pieces of information, the public keys and the minimum number of signatures required to use it as a spendable input. It is also used to generate the multi signature address itself. There should be some information on the bitcoin wiki about this, but I will also add it to the site shortly.

I believe its possible to manipulate the timestamp of the transaction in the way you've requested, although I will need to do a little bit of testing first.

Thanks for pointing out the broken link, I've since fixed it.

You may want to take a look at
http://www.bitescrow.org/

Whilst bitescrow.org is pretty neat, unless I'm mistaken it seems to use a different method to facilitate an escrow, it does not seem to use multi signature addresses and is limited to the number of parties that can take part.

What I have developed allows for true multi signature addresses to created in within your browser, and all the outputs are compatible with bitcoin-qt.

To clarify, a multi signature address starts with a 3, like this address 39wJtGk78E76AKpUKLhzrhmwVyZZHfCUbV it does not start with a 1 like normal addresses.

Just like to say another happy customer here, had it for ~2 weeks and have been up and running ever since I got it pretty much, just working out a few coding and mining software issues, the hardware is top notch Smiley Thanks Outcast.

Good to hear Smiley
148  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [EU/UK GROUP BUY] Blue Fury USB miner 2.2 - 2.7 GH/s on: December 28, 2013, 09:56:54 PM
I got it from OC who told me the unit he tested only produced 400mh/s

When I tested (very quickly) I was unable to keep them stable, or produce more than 400mh/s on multiple USB 2 hubs, however they was fine on my USB 3 hub.
149  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [EU/UK GROUP BUY] Blue Fury USB miner 2.2 - 2.7 GH/s on: December 28, 2013, 09:54:47 PM
Get them shipped yet OC3k?  Just so I know if I have to get up early for the postman (2 weeks off = lie-ins). Smiley

Sorry guys, I never had time to ship them before xmas (I did try), I was hoping to have them shipped yesterday but wasn't able to due to a few delays in getting back home. Looking to send them Monday now.
150  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [UK GROUP BUY] ASICminer Cube group buy #9 on: December 26, 2013, 09:45:37 PM

Well, guess what?  It was the CX750.  Tongue

Cube runs perfectly on the OCZ 600W.  Just a few hashes shy of 38GH for the last 8-9 hours.  I've also discovered the Cubes work better though Slush's proxy than through BFG's proxy.

The PSU I bought is as follows:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001GLFD54/ - £54.99

WAY cheaper than the Corsair, and it works. Cheesy

The CX750 is back to it's normal job of powering my two Blades, 2 Jalapenos, USB hub, fans and various USB miners.

Maybe u got a dud.  The ones I bought at Fry's for $60 work great!   Grin

Yeah, it must be a dud.  That's why it's running all the other stuff with no issues at all.  Roll Eyes   The Cube didn't work with 2 other PSUs as well - a Dell 875W unit and an old transformer-based 30A 12V regulated PSU.

You got everything working now, right?
151  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [EU/UK GROUP BUY] Blue Fury USB miner 2.2 - 2.7 GH/s on: December 23, 2013, 05:32:29 PM

155  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [UK GROUP BUY] ASICminer Cube group buy #9 on: December 19, 2013, 02:51:04 PM
Just to let everyone know, shipment 3 has been sent out today and should be with with everyone tomorrow by 1PM.
156  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [UK GROUP BUY] ASICminer Cube group buy #9 on: December 19, 2013, 02:49:43 PM
Can I just ask why we in the UK seem to be getting ripped off again?

There is a group buy in the states for 0.89 each cube which includes free priority insured shipping. Now I know VAT has to be paid but 0.89 x 20% comes to 1.068.
Import duty may be a problem but 0.89 to 1.2 is about 35% which seems a lot.

You're obviously new around here. Welcome. I don't set the price, nor can I afford to give away free shipping, the U.S group buys have ONLY JUST lowered their prices to 0.89, as of a couple of days ago it was 1 BTC, if you order at the official EU resellers site, its more than 1.2 BTC. Europe always lags behind in terms of price for mining hardware. Finally the import duty into the US is 3% compared to Europes 20%.

If you can do it cheaper, be my guest, or point us in the right direction.
157  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [UK GROUP BUY] ASICminer Cube group buy #9 on: December 18, 2013, 07:43:50 PM

You should set a delivery deadline, shipment to you will be re-posted if received before x:xx pm.

really appreciate your efforts, but please don't rush in the traffic, would hate to see you have a traffic collision.

Hey mate,

My cut off time is in the original post, and is 3:30pm and it was after this they arrived but I thought I might just be able to make it, unfortunately with the christmas traffic I didn't.

All the best
