$1.20 is possible - it shot up to $0.20 the other day and we are nowhere near peak of bull run.
If it reaches $1.20 that will only give Hbar a market cap of $42b which won’t be much at the peak of this bull run when many others are over $100b market cap

There are now doubts that this Hbar news was legit.
I am not quite sure what to believe really so will just continue to hold.
If it is fake news then that is rather scary how some fake news can pump a crypto over 100% in 24 hours.

I have been looking today at the Bitcoin chart at the last halving in May 2020 - the price didnt really start pumping until 4 months later in October.
Are we expecting something similar after this halving too and if so does that mean altcoins wont really pump either until Bitcoin does?

New laws can be confusing. They may have attempted to follow the rules and just missed something. If the business is profitable, they will probably continue. If they are losing money, this may be a way out for them. What was your feeling about them before you read the news? There has not been much talk about Kucoin since I brought this up 4 weeks ago. I got most off of my crypto of there just to be safe , just have a couple of investments on there that I cannot send to my cold wallet. Does seem like they will be ok though. |

Yes I am invested in Doge.
I was going to sell a few weeks ago but I only have 5,000 and think it will go to $1 at least this bull run so will hold till then and then put profits into Bitcoin.

for me $500k is too high for this year's halving. The 2017 ATH is $20k and the 2021 ATH is $65, meaning the ATH in 2021 is only 3x the ATH 2017. If this kind of pattern occurs again in this year's halving I estimate Bitcoin's ATH will reach $150k-$200k. but looking at current market conditions it seems that such a pattern is difficult to occur.
We reached $73k already so personally I expect closer to $200k at the peak of this bull run maybe even closer to $250k. But I will start taking profits out gradually once we go past $100k. |

Looking at the previous halving in May 2020 - the market didn't really start going up until 5 months later in October.
Are we expecting this again this bull run? If so, it means the price will not start going up properly until September.

I have many other altcoins, my portfolio is currently +74% even after this mini crash we have seen last few days.
XRP is a long term investment for me, i will only sell if I feel it is worth it this bull run and by that i mean it gets to $5 minimum - if it doesn't I will just hold till 2028/29 bull run and hope it is around $20 at least by then.

Cryptex Finance is up 30% in the last 24 hours and holding very strong whilst the majority of altcoins are crashing.

With the Bitcoin halving just days away we all expect bullish 2024 but just wondering how much this war will affect the rest of the year?
I was investing when Russia first invaded Ukraine 2 years ago and the markets crashed then but that was at the bottom of the bear market - will the markets hold stronger being in bull run or will they tank if the war gets worse and will we see less of a bull run?
The markets have seen a mini crash since Iran attacked Israel the other day and I am just holding for now, haven't bought anything and haven't sold and just hoping we can start seeing the market go up over the next few months.

I plan to hold all my altcoins till this alt season when alt coins are performing better than Bitcoin and then start putting profits into Bitcoin.
Do you think Altcoins will perform better than Bitcoin? I don't think so, because Bitcoin has reached high price which it will be difficult for altcoins price to reach in 10 years to come, because their price is still low for their investors to experience such price from the market like what Bitcoin investors has experienced few weeks ago before the price started reducing from the market till this current price. If you are talking about when the altcoins bullish season will appear, I believe, it will appear very soon, and all you need to do is to continue holding your altcoins for you to achieve income that will make you to invest in Bitcoin to fulfill your desire and it will increase your income massively in the future. I think, you will meet up with the bearish season, because the price of Bitcoin has started decreasing to allow their investors to purchase again and you can be luck to be part of that season to purchase Bitcoin and hold for future purpose. In the last 6 months, Bitcoin has increased around 150%. Some altcoins I hold have seen 1000% increase and some over 3000%. This is why I buy altcoins , to make a lot more money then I would if I had only invested in Bitcoin. I can then put profits I make from my altcoins this bull run into Bitcoin in the next bear market. |

So, in just 2 months from the $70M market capitalization that you've mentioned it's now $258M so that's almost 4x of gain already.
I'd assume that you OP have already gained with 4x and that's already a nice profit for you in just a few months. If you're going to decide to sell, you are in profit and this is a good time to sell.
But if you think that there will be more, then it's solely your decision whether to wait for more or not.
I got in last year my average is 10 cents so up over 25x currently. I have taken out my investment so far and will take out profit when it next pumps and it reaches $3.40 Good luck if that's going to happen soon because it may have reached its ATH already but you didn't take out some profits from it. You've got a nice share already and that's what you shouldn't missed out or else you're waiting for it to dip instead of it to pump. Why not DCA in some profits? With that, you're not going to miss out any potential high that it is having right now. I am not selling yet - we have had a scare last few days and the market crashed but we will bounce back be it next week or in a few weeks. I have been buying last 2 years so happy to wait another month or two till I start cashing out profits. |

Arcblock holding strong after yesterday’s mini crash it is now back up to $2.75.
I have my sell price set @ $3.40 hopefully see it there within the week.

Looking back now I probably should have just focused more on Bitcoin as it has pumped a lot more then majority of altcoins I hold , particularly over the last 6 months.
There have been a couple however that have done over a 15x for me since the new year which has resulted in my portfolio currently being +121% overall.
I understand altcoins usually follow Bitcoin however when Bitcoin really starts pumping, a lot of altcoins will pump a lot faster so hopefully a few of mine will see good returns and that is when I plan to cash out.

Arcblock for me - I got in last year around 10 cents , hit $2.88 few days ago.
I have taken out my investment + $500 profit so far but not sure if I should take out more or keep holding.
I don't want to be greedy but also worry about selling too early considering we are not even at the halving yet and price will likely be a lot more in a few months.

Projects like this restores hope in the altcoins division, that they're not all scams.
Not all altcoins are scams , it does feel that many on this site do feel that way and only invest in Bitcoin.
I have nothing against Bitcoin but it isn’t going to change my life, not this bull run anyway so that is why I invest in Altcoins. Some will go to zero but I will also get lucky and invest in a few that will give me the returns Arcblock have so far.
I could cash out my Arcblock now for $12k but it only takes it to double in price again to make that $24k so I’m just wary of cashing out too soon.
