143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and patience on: December 12, 2023, 01:07:13 PM
like any other investment patience is needed, like if you are investing in your child's education there also patience is needed you cannot force him to study hard and get a better job in short time.
I sometimes think that how lucky they are who invested very early in bitcoin, but always came to a conclusion that this is not possible for everyone to hold bitcoin for this much long time by seeing big pumps and dumps.
everything investment needs patience, it becomes easy to hold for long time by investing what we can afford to lose.

these tips are are good if the family of gambler who is in initial stage take action against it.
but we don't show or tell to other people that we gamble and we are losing money everyday so it becomes very hard to get out of this cycle. because the gambler's family doesn't know anything.
the brain of a gambler completely stop thinking about real things and continue his new habit of gambling without telling anyone.
145  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you regret also for ever knowing about gambling? on: December 11, 2023, 04:26:24 PM
Not exactly like this, but it happened to me there was a site there i was earning something good from completing surveys but there is also a little casino were we can gamble with our hard earned crypto.
it was fun then when I many times start playing with small amount but made it very big but in last lose it all,  I don't publicly blame the site or situation because they do not told me to gamble.
but I many times say in my mind that it would have been better if I didn't known about gambling and these sites, because of this I started gambling on other casinos.
146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Behavioral Change!!! on: December 11, 2023, 03:16:37 PM
Does any of feel behavioral change in you based on the win/loss in gambling. Myself had experienced it, and personally I used to be happy and I used to be polite with my family members and kid whenever I am on profit. On the day of losing it changes exactly in the opposite way, even for simple things I get much anger. Particularly while giving food to kid patience is must. On winning days I let him take his own time and eat. On the losing days I used to shout at him. I'm addicted, and I want fellow gamblers to make a self analysis at regular interval and be on the safer side.

yes, It happens with gambling addicts and this is so dangerous, people who are addicted to gambling doesn't able to think clearly, everytime there mind thinks of gambling. and winning big.
you are also addicted so please quite gambling and recover your losses by working more, taking more jobs, find other ways to earn, but do not try to recover by gambling more.
this is my humble opinion please do not gamble more spend good time with people around you, don't think of everytime of gambling.
if you want to come out if this then I wish you the best of luck, and I believe you will overcome this situation soon. and become normal again.
147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one you are good at? on: December 11, 2023, 03:09:09 PM
Selecting a bet is indirectly related to managing the bankroll, because if we set high bet and your bankroll will surely be in danger.
I am good in both but only when my mind is fresh and I don't have any comfortability, in normal mood I can manage everything right and can stop at right time when I am losing.
I am not profitable because it become very hard sometimes and busting it all, so I just play will little money so I cannot make my losses bigger and don't gamble everyday and think of gambling everyday.
148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A hero or a fool? on: December 11, 2023, 03:01:49 PM
He is an hero because he knew this at the very begenning of the process which can give him a very worst life if he continued to gamble.
I like the idea of self exclusion by begambleaware.org , but this is mostly used by fiat betting sites.

so here is one more responsiblegambling.org, you can find this on every reputable crypto gambling site and can self exclude ourself if you want.
149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I think gambling is inbuilt, kids don't learn it anywhere, they do it! on: December 11, 2023, 02:49:34 PM
The Australian Government once said about abolishing gambling ads as a means of reducing gambling activities amongst underage people. But, I think they'll be no successful way of stopping young people from gambling. As it's in them. Most articles here also say things like gambling addiction being hereditary. That means gambling can be hereditary as well. Because I just watched from a distant two kids below 10 years, staking bets, after a long argument about who the artiste of a specific song is. They later staked close to 40 cents each, for the person who gets the answer right. Then they went ahead to verify. And I lost sight of them. I thought about, how come or who thought these kids about betting money during a long argument. I was able to memorize, back when I was a kid. We easily said, how much would you bet if it turns out I'm saying the truth; during an argument. It made me understand that, despite during those days we had no phones or access to the internet, gambling is somehow embedded to the brain of humans. Then, as a child, we weren't exposed to gambling. I could only remember of lotto, as a kid. But we still said things like "let's bet it"

The government is right because majority of the people are introduced to online gambling by seeing ads online like on instagram, facebook, etc.
if these ads are not there then we were just surfing some other entertainment sites like youtube or streaming some movies, but these ads introduced many people to online gambling sites.
every person know about gambling when they are kids but that type of gambling (like if red wins I will win a pizza from you) is not very risky, the risky thing is gambling with hard earned money and how we know about it by ads or some friends they were also got introduced by online gambling by ads.

150  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is hard!!! on: December 11, 2023, 06:04:24 AM
It's funny how people see trading as a Ponzi or get rich scheme. They end up losing there hard earned money in the chase for more money.
It's also so funny how some wants to learn a life changing skill in two weeks or a month, meanwhile they spend 4-5 years studying an obsolete course.
Trading like any profitable venture takes time, perseverance and consistently developing and sharpening your skill to be profitable.
In trading you'll fail a thousand times but it's your ability to pick yourself that differentiate you from the lot. Pay for knowledge to shorten your learning time, else you'll learn and you'll learn the hard way.
Develop yourself, pay for knowledge, give time to your craft, pick yourself up any time you fail.
The sky will be your starting point 🕊️❤️

I don't think paid courses will save learning time because if the teacher was successful trading then they will not be selling courses and sharing the secret of winning.
We can learn about trading online from youtube, free ebooks, blogs, etc. and after that basic learning we need to learn to control ourself and learn by depositing real money.
experience we gain from trading with real money is always more than they teach in courses, I have seen many reviews of people about paid courses but they tell they teach things in paid courses are available online for free.
151  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The latest binance p2p scam and how to avoid them on: December 11, 2023, 05:53:36 AM
Wow. scammers are using creative ways to scam, that email was so realistic like binance sent it, everyone please check the email address first it's official or not.
I always go to the seller who has a lot of crypto to sell because if he was scammer then he has not deposited big and try to scam people, and don't look for cheaper options if like if we want to buy a small amount then wecan give 1-2 cents extra but to a reputable seller. scammers sell in cheap which causes us to initiate a trade with them.
Once I signuped on bitget and completed KYC then i wanted to buy around $50 worth usdt, at the top the seller was selling $1 usdt for 1cents but that was only one no more than one,
I don't know that was a offer by bitget or the user wanted to know my phone number and other details when I will send him the payment. and the 1 usdt for 1 cent offer was for only once for only 1 usdt.
I think the seller was collecting details about people buy offering 1 usdt for 1 cent. on CPA network our numbers and emails are worth more than $2-$5 so it's not very expensive to seller to collect details by giving 99cents.
I don't know that seller was collecting details or just an offer, but I don't know what details are exposed when we trade by P2P, but by UPI payment method in india seller will not get much details about the payment sender.
152  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which are best stake alternatives on: December 10, 2023, 06:17:41 PM
What may seem right to MR A will not be ok for MR B since the risk of gambling is according to the individual's differences and that is what it is so we can say that stake is okay for us and another gambler will still have a worse experience with the casino so it all depends on individual differences and what matter to a gambler most,  is where his lick can fully be exploit and worked on by the time he is through.

Many times,  I don't find any reason to gamble at other casinos,  since I already fine confidence and built trust for the casino I am currently playing on.

it's good to only stick to few reputable casinos which have all features, games, interface of our choice,
sometimes the things go different like casino on which we are playing for a long time and we trust them and love to play there but what if they run with our money? or ban our account for some misunderstanding by their software? this kind of scenarios can happen so we need to keep that in mind.
153  Economy / Gambling / Re: Slot Educational on: December 10, 2023, 06:08:57 PM
snip

I was also playing slots after seeing streamers winning big, but after playing first few days I won a good amount on slots but after in long term my account was draining.
I made strategies for slots, not strategies but some tips I use here I have a thread too for these tips.
now I play sometimes after taking long breaks in first 10-15 spins if the slot hits then I will take the winnings, if not hits and losing then I will be straight out without thinking of what i lost.
sometimes we can get lucky here so it is good to play slots without chasing losses, we don't know streamers are playing with real money or fake so they are for entertainment not for motivation or insipiration.

that post is 9 months old, I don't remember everything and the twitter account got banned because I given access of that to a sites where they automatically follow other users and like other users posts.
to get paid, so the twitter account got banned. I have access to that facebook account I can activate that account any time i want.
Maybe I cutted that url, who will spend this much time to participate in bounty when I am not interested in it and i know i am not going to win anything good amount.
I just participated hoping i am not going to win because i have no followers or anything.

If you are sure that I am a fraud then you can check my posts and the original fraud's post maybe there will be a time when the other users may had posted at a seconds difference between my post and there's post.

156  Economy / Reputation / Re: Nutildah's bounty cheaters & ban evaders thread on: December 08, 2023, 02:51:01 PM

After realizing he had been caught, cafter deleted the Twitter URL from his application, replacing it with a fictitious one that never existed. I know its not a case of just mistakenly posting somebody else's credentials, because while Shohag.btc applied for the bounty, he didn't post his Twitter URL in his application.

It is therefore logical to conclude that cafter is Shohag.btc, who also owns a huge alt farm that must be 30+ accounts by this point. I'm tagging all the accounts that haven't been tagged yet, and am awaiting one hell of a creative explanation as to why I'm wrong.

I respect your investigations, but these two accounts are posting in different local sections. Although India and Bangladesh are neighboring countries, as Wikipedia shows, both languages can understand each other.

Although cafter also writes in English in the Indian section.  Smiley
I don't know Bangladesh language i talk in english in indian board and hindi too you can see here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5470673.0

I tried to talk in hindi but they prefer english more.

Finally, there is one other account that only ever applied for one bounty, using the same Twitter handle as Shohag.btc, and that is cafter:

This connection was initially spotted by lovesmayfamilis, whose question was never answered:

I am a newbie and this is my first ever forum account and i am addicted to it, i log in many many times a day, what can i do to stop addiction, "every addiction is bad"
is it happened to your sometime when you were newbie?

OP, are you sure you have one account on this forum? I found some matches with another account. You tried to sign up for a bounty, and your Twitter account tells me that there is another account that also owns this contact.
I will not blame you for alternative accounts now; just be careful.

I am not a bounty cheater or any type of fraud, here I had opened account for learning more about bitcoin and reading people like you. and this was my first ever forum account and didn't even knew that here people earn from signature campaigns and bounties, for months I was just reading "bitcoin discussion" board and some basic non technical boards, after some days of registering here I found out about bounty where I wanted to apply and I already have told that I was very new to forum and didn't read any rules and not thinked that I will someday earn from signatures, and just reading posts and replying what things I know and asking a lot of question here. like lovesmayfamilis already said that I had free time to ask many questions and make threads like this: thread 1, thread 2, thread 3. so how will I manage many account I think farm means many alt accounts.

Than I was posting many thread about my basic questions and not cheating bounties.

Why this may have happened?:
I already told that I was new and didn't read any rules about forum and bounties. like do not edit the post, etc, etc.
so for quickly do it like a shortcut, I copied that scammer's post somewhere And posted in my post, then after finding out that I have posted another twitter link then I replaced it.

May be because of posting too many question I was not had read the post by lovesmayfamilis, that was the reason that I had not replied to that post. if I wanted to bounty hunt then I had started participating in bounties from that day I created account here.

After learning more and more about forum I knew that forums have this kind of rules and this kind of consequences of not following them, I apologize for my mistake and I am not a cheater. I participated in only very few or only one or two bounties. I am not here to hunt bounties.

159  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I’ve bought 100 BTC in 2011. Need help to find them for rewards. on: December 07, 2023, 04:59:01 PM
in 2011, 1 bitcoin was worth around $20-$150 and you bought 100 bitcoins which will at least may was worth around $1000-$10000, this price range I took from investopedia.
so no one will buy something worth more than $1000 or even $100 and completely forget about it, and when price of 1 bitcoin reached $1000/BTC then also you were not able to remember that you had bought 100BTC.
interesting to read you story but most probably it seems fake.
and if you may luckily find the name of the site, it may surely will be closed and there domain will be on sell somewhere godaddy or something. and you found their wallet and your coins in it they will not going to pay you this much huge amount without asking for very solid proof.
160  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do we need to have a stop loss if we are 100% positive about a trade? on: December 07, 2023, 08:47:00 AM
I use stoploss but don't use take profit many times, I use stoploss to cut losses short.
when I was new to trading I was also not taking stoploss seriously because of this I doesn't able to cut my losses short and while watching the trade going against me, my mind isn't able to cut the trade after knowing that i is a losing trade. it become very hard to control emotions, and when I place stoploss first it helps me to cut my losses short and to keep a 1 percentage loss per trade. and helps me to not trade emotionally.
