141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Memecoin specifically for holders.. on: May 18, 2024, 03:36:24 AM
Meme coins are never meant for hold, the concept is simple take a position and then sell the lot with decent returns. In the current times there are better meme coins that can easily give xx returns as soon as the maket mood shifts from bear to bull. Currently in the bear market the established meme coins are giving decent returns whenever Bitcoin pumps. I will skip any new meme coins for now as the risk of losing investment is very high.
142  Local / India / Re: India cricket Discussion and predictions [self-mod] on: May 18, 2024, 03:31:26 AM
Yes, you are right it will be Fleming as BCCI doesn't want an Australian to be in the head coach seat. Although they are good player but their loyalty is always questioned the reason being they will always support Australia than the team they are coaching. Greg Chapel once was the coach of the Indian team and he is known for all the internal rift that happened in that Indian side rather the winning records.

BCCI now approaches Gautam Gambhir! What is happening? Is it because of Mota Bhai and because of his connection with the ruling party? If he gets the job then a lot of senior players won't be happy. He has a bad reputation with Kohli which they both have denied publically but it is known to everyone following the Indian cricket.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance launches Notcoin (NOT) on launchpool. on: May 17, 2024, 01:14:35 PM
The problem with Binance has been resolved with the coins being returned back to the bot wallet. The problem now is that it is taking approximately 24 hours for on chain withdrawal. That means the TON network is unable to handle so many transactions and the gas fee is very high currently.
No need to wait for 24hrs. After it returned on tg bot wallet I initiated the withdrawal via Tg wallet and then it will push on your TG beta ton space. Since I have ton token then, I withdraw via bybit and boom not more than 5mins it arrived on my bybit wallet. Of course I tried withdrawal first of small amount to see if withdrawal is really disable, guess what it didnt. The smaller not arrive then upon checking it confirmed I send the rest.

It did arrive back to my bot wallet instantly and then I got the the option to send it to my onchain wallet. I have done that but it took about 8 hours to get credited to my wallet. I am not going to send it anywhere and for now as I am going to wait for another Bitcoin price spike that should encourage nits price a bit more to what it is now.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Open Source Hardware Wallet for XMR? on: May 17, 2024, 01:10:31 PM
As ryzaadit replied above Kastelo is an open source wallet exclusive to XMR but it is not that reliable at the moment. I think it would be better for you to create an airgap wallet using Monero GUI Wallet.

If you have a big amount to be stored in a cold wallet it is better to believe those who created XMR. It is better to take control of your own money than relying on a third party.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance launches Notcoin (NOT) on launchpool. on: May 17, 2024, 06:34:47 AM
But some one I know sent from telegram to binance successfully and has even sold his coin. Why are that sending some back? That's strange.
Anyways, I got some not coin but ended up staking all before it started trading. I just hope I am not making a mistake.
Maybe they withdraw from telegram directly then send to Binance afterwards. Thats quite possible, but there are some withdrawals directly from airdrop to binance exchange which doesnt need the telegram wallet. Well lets hope this could turn into a good coin with big valuation especially its a free token drop.

The problem with Binance has been resolved with the coins being returned back to the bot wallet. The problem now is that it is taking approximately 24 hours for on chain withdrawal. That means the TON network is unable to handle so many transactions and the gas fee is very high currently. I thought with such a big community they should have looked into the scaling issue. Unfortunately they didn't and now it again shows that achieving TPS doesn't matter unless a network is able to handle transaction pressure.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Notcoin Mining on: May 17, 2024, 06:30:38 AM
They messed up big time with Binance as a lot user were not able to transfer their coins to Binance. Now thier network is so congested that it is taking 24 hours to transfer those returned coin to the wallet. This is not a good sign as the community expected the TON network to handle such kind of network pressure.
147  Local / India / Re: Binance Exchange is coming back to India. on: May 17, 2024, 05:26:05 AM
I have been telling everyone around here to stop using international exchanges like Binance and Kucoin if you don't want any legal issues. Whatever has happened behind the doors between the government and the exchange will not come out in public domain. We can only speculate what might happen in the future. We will need to wait till July to understand how much deep we are in the hole when the government comes out with the full budget.
I know it might not seem possible for my fellow countrymates here, but keep the fiat for the daily spending and keep the bitcoin in the wallets till things settle and just wait it out till the government gets their pants back on. Grin

The only question is how long one would have to keep their coins in limbo in a wallet before being able to spend, because many of you are freelancing on bitcoin payments. Embarrassed

You have answered your own question here in the bolded part.
Even thought the government will now have all the data from Binance, people will still be trading on binance just because they don't have many other options yet.
Although there are few other international exchanges to use but none of them are as good as binance to be honest.
That being said, it has just become a matter of prority now for the individuals.

Kucoin thought that becoming FIU compliant will help them gain more Indian users. Unfortunately that did not go well with the existing Indian user base. To which they had to launch an airdrop campaign worth $50k for inviting users to their telegram channel, which ran from 28th of April till 12 of this month. That did not go well as planned and now they are offering upto 400% APR in USDT. Binance might have to go through the same stage as more and more Indian users are now shifting their base to exchanges like Bybit.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What did you think about the future of dogecoin? on: May 17, 2024, 05:13:47 AM
As I am sure that if Elon just posted an image of an unknown meme coin, such action will be more than enough to make it pump for days or even weeks.

If I remember correctly he did post a cryptic image which looked like a meme coin in 2023 or in end of 2022. The coin did pump in a bear market and every meme coin investor went FOMO at that time. He still holds a lot of influence in the crypto sphere and is the only the non crypto entrepreneur in the world who started the meme coin revolution.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Diversify memecoin investments? on: May 17, 2024, 02:33:56 AM
If you had to invest 1000€ into memes would you rather go for 1000€ Shiba Inu or
- 200€ Dogecoin
- 200€ Shiba Inu
- 200€ Pepe
- 200€ dogwifhat
- 200€ Bonk

?

This is bad diversification as you have invested everything in meme coins. I think you should have some of your investment diverted into cryptos like SOL, BNB, ETH, and BTC. There are others that I could have recommended but it will confuse you which I do not want. All I am trying to say is diversification does not mean investing everything into one narrative. In your case, the narrative is meme coins therefore think before you invest and DYOR.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $GHO5T on: May 17, 2024, 02:29:08 AM
Born in the spirit of the old crypto days. We are GHO5T. We are everywhere. We are nowhere. No telegram. No twitter. No website. A shadow community operating in the darkness like crypto was meant to be. Join us and become GHO5T.

I agree that it is a new meme coin, where nothing exists. That makes me concerned in a time when rug pull has been common in meme coins. How long are you going to sustain this coin without the active presence of a community? A meme coin thrives from a community, created to make it pump in a competitive meme coin market. With your vision, your coin will die faster than other meme coins currently being traded in the market.
151  Local / India / Re: India cricket Discussion and predictions [self-mod] on: May 17, 2024, 01:54:30 AM

There are two big names being considered by the BCCI. The first being Stephen Fleming and the next name is Ricky ponting. Both of them are head coach of IPL teams. Rahul Dravid as for now is not interested and hasn't applied for the position. I feel he is done with the hectic life as a coach and wants to retire from it.

Among these two guys, Fleming might be the one who will get the position. He has been one of the most successful coach in IPL for CSK as under his coaching the team won 5 IPL trophies. There were news circulating that BCCI has already approached him for the position but CSK has denied those news. Whoever gets to be the coach if he is able get an OCC trophy then I and the fans would not have any problem.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: speculative play: ONDO vs GLMR on: May 16, 2024, 05:29:46 AM
I am only aware of ONDO and have no clue about GLMR. If you want me choose any then I will skip both for now. It is better to look into existing meme coins for higher gains than on anything else.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How AI is impacting web3 and our everyday life on: May 16, 2024, 03:06:07 AM
Why would someone use the platform whereas they can do the same thing using AIs that have been already in existence and are free until certain version. For monetization there are big global giants who are already helping content creators with monetization. I do not understand the full purpose of this platform, maybe OP didn't understand it's objectives and wrote down the outline of this new project.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance launches Notcoin (NOT) on launchpool. on: May 16, 2024, 02:55:02 AM
Good to see the market in green before the listing. Hopefully TON coin after listing doesn't take a deep dive into the red zone. As per their telegram channel the listing on three exchanges will happen today. Quoting the timing from their telegram channels for listing.

I don't think that the situation will change and this might be what is called as regulation. All local exchanges are FIU compliant but only two international exchanges have agreed to the government request. I was expecting OKX after Kucoin to declare that they are compliant but they haven't. That being said now will the government go after pancakeswap as it is also a Binance product.
156  Economy / Reputation / Re: What is happening in the Stake… on: May 16, 2024, 02:10:51 AM
snip~~

Stake is one of the biggest online casino then why does OO feels they don't have money for signature campaign. OP you do need to read properly before creating a topic on the reputation board. Payments are sent in USDT, this is the reason why they moved thier signature campaign to altcoins bounty board. The reason why they changed from Bitcoin to USDT probably would be the high transaction fees that Bitcoin network had suffered a few weeks ago.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token - How do I go about it on: May 15, 2024, 11:26:01 AM
I need to know where to start and what information I need on how to create Token or coin, the process, and if you can use the token to buy stuff how does it all work someone please explain this to me because i might have something that could turn out pretty well.

more information first looking for high trusted members with in depth information or links.

I see some stuff but don't know what I am looking for and even if it's possible.

Creating a token won't help you in developing a business. The idea of token should come at the last stage. What you need to do first is some market research about what kind of narrative are trending in the market and what can you offer to it. The next will be development and marketing structure of the project and in the end the token and tokenomics to generate revenue. I hope my suggestion helps you in your entrepreneur skills.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme coins: Shiba Inu vs Pepe - Which one do you prefer? on: May 15, 2024, 09:21:39 AM
Both are meme coins wherein they don't have any fundamentals. They both are community driven and earlier this year Pepe generated good returns than Shiba Inu. I don't have any personal preferences but as a investor I would buy both and wait for the next bull run. Both have the ability to generate good returns on investment.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: April 2024 recorded the lowest amount lost to hack. on: May 15, 2024, 08:28:14 AM

Which of these estimates is correct or closest to the truth?

A lot of scams and hacks don't get reported unless those who have lost start reporting it. These are only estimates and no one can be 100 percent sure about thier statistics. I still believe a lot of these scams and hacks could have been prevented if everyone follows strict principal of following the basic element and that is not your key not your coins and not being greedy.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tornado Cash Developer Was Convicted and jailed on: May 15, 2024, 07:50:19 AM
The US is after privacy cryptocurrency or anything that hides crypto transaction. They are not after crypto in general otherwise they wouldn't had allowed an ETF. They are concerned that they won't be able to control or track privacy centric projects. That is the reason why they went after Bitcoin mixers and now they are doing the same to mixers that were created for Ethereum.

Edit: I found out that the real reason for him to go to prison was that he was caught for money laundering.
