im not considering any sells under 3000 sat, and i'd only sell a few to make up some of the cost of mining. sorry =\

maybe put a buy order in on c-cex at that price n hope for the best? never know, some people are desperate!

I think we're a little stunned.
We threw a party and no-one
showed up.

A bigger exchange would be better, Bittrex slack is probably the best way to go.

Also feel free to RT, Bittrex would like community demand also for consideration.

thats not going to happen untill the dev wakes up...lol

~ just look he doesn't even update the OP!!!  Cheesy   noobs

we've updated the OP every day. what isnt accurate? we have 10 minute blocks, which is 600 seconds. have you ever looked at blockchain.info and watched bitcoin blocks? surely you understand how crypto works and know that is an average..

http://cryptobe.com/chain/CBit

stay tuned, we'll have a bitpay insight explorer up shortly, along with merchant services.

the pools info in the OP are not correct ..fwiw  Roll Eyes

~yes look at your blockexplorer you are getting multiple blocks a minute lmfao Cheesy

our current block times:

i dont see multiple blocks per minute. im guessing you a new to crypto. the average time per block is an average. this means we should be getting roughly 6 blocks per hour. right now we are averaging 9. so right now we are average 7 minute blocks. that means the difficulty will increase on the next retarget.

bitcoins current block times:

403415    19 minutes
403414    30 minutes (6 minutes between)
403413    36 minutes (16 minutes between)
403412    52 minutes
403411    1 hour 22 minutes (2 minutes between)
403410    1 hour 24 minutes

welcome to cryptocurrency, where numbers are an average.

whos instamining all these coins? you? lol ~ there are a high number of blocks that are less than one minute apart ...do you even code brah?  Cheesy    noob

rofl gembitz is a noob, he didnt even read the post or look at the explorer.. im just trying to figure out why anyone is even paying attention to him and why mods arent deleting his noob posts...

anywho, im still lurking =]

We spoke to Marten Williams on blockchain dynamics radio tonight.  Wonderful guest.  Thank you for sharing information about c-bit with us.

Check out Marten's segment now @ https://www.mixcloud.com/ErrorByTrial/blockchaindynamics-3-error-by-trial-radio-3122016/

LOL.  It's over.

yeah thats what they just said, you quoted it. "spoke to" is past tense for "speaking to" present tense. the archive is listed on that link.

How about yourself? You appear to be using your real name. Do you have Linkedin?

dude. why dont you just give up on this and GTFO already.
look at your posts here, you are just a troll, doing nothing but trying to dig up info on those involved with c-bit
now GTFO and be a troll somewhere else

seriously this fuckin guy sounds like a stalker lol

It's called due diligence.

gotcha.. so you know all the peoples full names and linkedin accounts that created every coin you get involved in?

I was interested in this coin but as soon as the dev started talking about "bitcoin devs" (yeah right) being involved and all the time and effort and money to just do a clone, I started handling it with skepticism. It was not necessary for the dev to say those things because it placed a "far fetched" tag on the coin and caused people to doubt what he says.

you do realize there are over 300 bitcoin developers right? i mean, i'm a developer, and i'm interested. i think there's room for a coin like this. just look how many coins are built from old versions of bitcoin/ppc that are complete shit. this one is built from .12, which is the newest release.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XCT] C-Bit - Elegantly Solving Bitcoin's Blockchain Problem [SHA256][POW] on: March 12, 2016, 08:08:13 PM
Keep in mind that sunerok is a dev working on a coin that is doing very damn well for itself right now with strong community backing. So yes serious developers are taking an interest in XCT. If they can keep up the same level of transparency and involvement with the community, I can see this becoming very successful.

yeah i was already looking into getting some more resources going for c-bit, and thanks for the kind words.. i try =]
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XCT] C-Bit - Elegantly Solving Bitcoin's Blockchain Problem [SHA256][POW] on: March 12, 2016, 07:20:31 PM
Let me get this straight. The premise of this coin is that in the event of a Core/Classic split in Bitcoin, either Core or Classic devs would move over to C-Bit development because this coin is a clone of Bitcoin?

This is just a minor side benefit of C-bit, not a
major point. If Bitcoin Classic were to do a
hostile takeover of Bitcoin Core, and Bitcoin
Core were to die as a fork, and some of the
developers and members of the community
were not too particularly happy about the
Classic takeover, they could move over to
C-bit and continue to work on Core without
any problem. C-bit IS Bitcoin Core, without
any of the problems, issues, or baggage
currently surrounding Bitcoin Core.

However, again, it is just a side note, not a
major issue of C-bit. The major point of C-bit
is to come up along side of Bitcoin Core and
be a smaller denomination coin. If Bitcoin is
the $ 100 bill, then C-bit can be the $ 10 bill.
C-bit is already building the Merchant Suite
for C-bit to be able to trade as a retail coin,
in addition to an exchange or currency coin.

Further down the road, C-bit is working on the
idea of joining itself to Bitcoin in a symbiosis
relationship like a DNA strand. We think it is
possible to create a much faster network with
a combined Bitcoin / C-bit structure.

So, C-bit is an interesting idea, and we'll see
where it goes.

William Martens
Founder C-bit

Seems like a very naive idea.

not really, since alot of us developers are already looking at it..

ROFL! yeah i agree with stoner19, good to see transparency, and im glad they know not to discuss that kind of stuff with new accounts, cuz im sure that guy is just looking for some btc to scam. id bet my life on it.

anywho, is cryptopia hosting c-bit on their exchange yet?

not live yet....
https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange/?market=XCT_BTC doesnt exist Smiley it may take a will with that wallet problems :\

since last night, ive clone the source code twice on a fresh vm, and it installed right away.. the procedure was identical to installing bitcoin.

Debian.

Yes the directory and its contents cloned from git and exist.

Setting permissions on the files and directories doesn't help either.

./autogen.sh
aclocal: couldn't open directory 'build-aux/m4': No such file or directory
autoreconf: aclocal failed with exit status: 1

i just cloned it and did a chmod 755 ~/c-bit/* and it worked.. hmm.. maybe try compiling a fresh autoconf?

Code:
sudo apt-get install build-essential libtool autotools-dev automake pkg-config libssl-dev libevent-dev bsdmainutils libboost-system-dev libboost-filesystem-dev libboost-chrono-dev libboost-program-options-dev libboost-test-dev libboost-thread-dev libboost-all-dev

you have all the dependencies? if your making a qt/gui wallet you'll also need:
Code:
sudo apt-get install libqt5gui5 libqt5core5a libqt5dbus5 qttools5-dev qttools5-dev-tools libprotobuf-dev protobuf-compiler

Hi,

Someone voted this coin onto Cryptopia, so I'm trying to compile it but getting the following error message:

./autogen.sh
aclocal: couldn't open directory 'build-aux/m4': No such file or directory
autoreconf: aclocal failed with exit status: 1

Can anyone assist?

should be just apt-get install autoconf

https://github.com/c-bit/c-bit/tree/master/build-aux/m4
that directory is there, so its either you're just missing autoconf, or theres a permissions error, because you have bitcoin on your exchange and the compilation of c-bit was identical to bitcoin for me. it's built from 0.12

autoconf is already installed, I've checked permissions as well, haven't had any problems compiling any other coins that use the ./autogen ./configure make setup. Not sure where it's going wrong.

do you have the c-bit/build-aux/m4 directory from the git clone?

what os are you compiling on?

try:
./autogen.sh

CFLAGS="-O2 -Wall" ./configure

make

if that doesnt do it try:
chmod +x autogen.sh && cd share/ && chmod +x genbuild.sh && cd .. && cd src/leveldb && chmod +x build_detect_platform && cd ../.. && ./autogen.sh &&  ./configure && make

and if that works, it was a permission error.

Well not sure where the 1PH/s was coming from, but apparently XCT has captured someones interest. Or someone just decided to drop a nice slice of BTC on Nicehash and grab their stash before the difficulty is 100million+

yeah these are tell tale signs of china getting involved. no one else can afford that kind of hashpower's electricity lol
