Hi,
Someone voted this coin onto Cryptopia, so I'm trying to compile it but getting the following error message:
./autogen.sh aclocal: couldn't open directory 'build-aux/m4': No such file or directory autoreconf: aclocal failed with exit status: 1
Can anyone assist?
Just in case anyone encounters this issue in the future, I resolved it with the following: cp -r c-bit/build-aux/ c-bit/src/secp256k1/

When yes they will add c-bit ,i saw similary situations when yobit did not add a coin after 2 days ,but after a week.They just unprofessional Martin said he did, and waited for days .. sent support tickets and simply no response.. unprofessional.. ok maybe.. but then why do they have on their site... deadlines for the coins to be added with dif prices?

calm down boys and girls.... as of block 28810 there are 14405500 XCT in circulation.... doing simple math... if XCT price is 100 satoshi BTC0.000001 = BTC14.40550000 if XCT price is 1000 satoshi BTC0.00001 = BTC144.05500000 if XCT price is 2000 satoshi BTC0.00002 = BTC288.1100000 ... if XCT price is 10000 satoshi BTC0.0001 = BTC1440.5500000 So lets chill out a bit... if we have a total supply worth around BTC100/ BTC200 i think is fair... and realistic... Multiply your thinking by 1/10 Remember that XCT is 1/10 of Bitcoin. ( 21 Million Bitcoin coins vs 210 Million XCT coins ) So, if Bitcoin is at $ 400, XCT should trades at $ 40 that's the general idea. I think that you are not taking into account the difference between the two coins. (1) XCT = (1/10) BTC (10) XCT = (1) BTC Ok, I see where you're coming from. You're talking satoshi, where I'm talking theoretical. We both end up in the same spot price-wise in the end ( equality on a 1/10 basis ). I believe that C-bit ends up with the same hash-rate as Bitcoin, but will grow in the meantime at a rate exponentially faster. Going to step in here and say this, someone has to... 3 years ago your 1/10 ratio would work and this coin would be on every exchange already. But today, the market is saturated and its not easily sifted through. You need to be big on development, and PR to be seen. Sitting in the forum and bragging the future price of your own coin sounds like hopes and dreams that could be put into dev and marketing. I enjoy your enthusiasm, and i'm not trying to put you or the coin down. I am interested personally in this project. But for me, and other crypto investors/traders. We like to see innovation, ideas, enthusiasm, white paper, roadmaps, dev bios, etc... You want that 1/10 ratio with btc?? Then put that enthusiasm to work, and don't pump something which has no floor. I apologize, I'm seriously not trying to pump. I think if you look at all my posts, I have not been pumping at all. I just tried to point to the fact that this is Bitcoin Core .12, and there is no difference. The main idea with the coin is that we hope, someday, with development, and the other ideas we have, to someday come up to rest next to Bitcoin Core. If this were to happen SOME DAY, the theoretical price should be no more than 1/10 Bitcoin. That is all I was trying to say. Trust me when I say that that the idealism of what I thought before we came to the public, and what I realize now, are now two entirely different realizations. I have been brought back down to earth in a major way and will continue to do the long haul work necessary. William Martens Founder C-bit

I tried for 5 days with Yobit. I paid them money. They didn't take it. This, despite their site's statement that it is a one-day service turn-around if you pay them. I wrote them 4 times. Never answered a single letter. That, in my opinion, in unprofessional, and makes me nervous to have my money in their system. If they can't do what they advertise, and they can't answer simple letters, what else is wrong.

According to the debug.log the daemon seems to be synced up but we can't seem to get the CLI or the RPC working.
Our ~/.c-bit/c-bit.conf(_ = redacted):
rpcuser=______ rpcpassword=___________________________________________ rpcport=9234 rpcallowip=___.___.___.___ gen=0 server=1 rpcconnect=___.___.___.___ daemon=1 listen=1
And in our ~/c-bit/debug.log:
2016-03-10 15:46:37 Binding RPC on address 0.0.0.0 port 9234 failed.
Any ideas why we can't seem to bind a specific RPC port?

well our rpc port is 8288. i'm not sure why there's an issue. if you are running bitcoin .12 over there, our setup should be completely identical. try netstat | grep 9234 and make sure nothing is running on that port already
