I think there are only two method that I know of which is lump sum buy and the DCA method. You mentioned buying the dip but this is also a lump sum buy that is done when price retraces after an upward movement. It is different from buying using the DCA method because it involves an instant order whereas the DCA is a continuous buying process that is done weekly or monthly as the case may be. Maybe there is further distinction between between buying the dips and other forms of buying that is done at once for which I consider less important so as to avoid memorizing too many things. Maybe for academic purposes, such distinction might even become necessary and there is nothing wrong about it. A combination of both methods is possible but it requires someone with experience and discipline to do effectively. I will not recommend that for a newbie to avoid being emotional about the whole process, rather I will suggest focusing mainly on the DCA method that is easier to follow and produces outstanding results when followed dutifully. However, no matter what method is adopted, some level of effort is needed to be able to follow such method with a sense of responsibility. Just because you do not recognize and/or appreciate the practicality of buying the dip does not mean that it does not have its place and/or benefits. For example a brand new person could come into bitcoin right now, and he already knows his budget. He has $9,400 that he can buy bitcoin, right now and he also has about $2,600 that is going to be available over the next six months. So that is $12k over 6 months. He could buy $9,400 right now at $68,300-ish, and then just DCA with the other $100 per week over the next 26 weeks, or he could set aside some of his $9,400 to be included in his DCA amounts or to set some of it aside for buying on dips. If we are to look at most wealthy investors or firms on strategies at which they invest is through the DIPs, which doesn't makes it ineffective to earn profits but it's a standard at which they find compatible. Everyone is entitled to his own pattern and most users who would understand the concept of bitcoin investment will know that all applicable strategies can be implemented on accumulating Bitcoin on one goal setting (the DIPs, lump sum and DCA all together) just like the example given by @Jay. Yes, it's very much true that the DCA accumulating strategy is the best way of accumulating Bitcoin as long as you have a source of income, because those big financial institution that investment only when their is a deep, they mostly do that because they have the financial power to do so, but for an average person that doesn't have the financial power to pull such a move or make a very good purchase when their is a deep, his best approach is through the DCA accumulating strategy, because it's only through the DCA accumulating strategy that he can compete and have a very good stash of Bitcoin in his possession if their is consistency and will in driving his Bitcoin portfolio to a better level, so I believe that it's only the DCA method that give everyone an opportunity to compete with the bigger boys as long as accumulation of Bitcoin is concern. When trading grids, your money would keep making money. On a pure investment the money remains idle till the investor decides to sell. But with grid trading you can both DCA by buying cheap and get profit on sideways market by selling on small fluctuation. With grid trading, you can double your money even thought the coin never doubles. The only bad thing about grid is if the coin goes a x2 or x3 soon, even if you have a x2 max limit, you would be making less than x2. I actually understand what you are trying to say here bro, but I don't think it's the best way of building generational wealth overtime, it's true that you can make money from trading if you skilled in it, but it should never be compared to Bitcoin investment, because with Bitcoin investment, you are quite certain of making profit, even as a newbie investors, as long as you are a long term holder, while in trading you can lose a whole lot of money just in a very short period of time, which comes with a whole lot of stress attached to it, so it's best to be a Holder, which I believe is more convenient, easy and more rewarding on the longer run. Let's check during the year 2009, there wasn't a smart cellphone that's smart like the ones we have these days. People in those days did not do their own research and many people only depended on the radical news or the newspapers 📰🗞️. And then the amount to buy a cellphone was high and a lot of youths then couldn't afford it.
But today, we have more smartphones and laptops, PCs and these have made things easier for everyone to do their own research whenever they come across things from ads on the internet or elsewhere. But I still wonder why many people these present days still put their knowledge of what people say about something (mostly when it's Bitcoin, crypto-related things). Most people make things difficult for themselves because they easily believe in what other people say, and they make their own conclusions without consulting their own research.
IMO, people who believe that Bitcoin is a scam are the people that can easily be scammed if a scammer sees them. Some government advisers are not well-educated about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. That's why they tell the government in power that Bitcoin is a scam, because no one controls it and the government also fails to do their own research before making their own conclusions to restrict or ban any bank account that deals with crypto currency transactions.

However I know that everybody are very curious to know how far Bitcoin price will go on this year and almost everybody want it to skyrocket before the year runs our but don't we think is still early to be expecting the price to hit either $150k or $200k now? , I mean there is nothing wrong in wishing or hoping for the price to get to that level but the main thing that should be considered now is getting to $100k first and also getting a good amount of Bitcoin in our portfolio because already we know that Bitcoin will surpass those levels in time to come. I understand what you are saying perfectly well, but to me, those set of people getting worried on when the price of Bitcoin will get to 100k mark are just newbies investors or traders, because anyone that have a good knowledge of Bitcoin will know that Bitcoin must have greatly under achieved for it not to go above the 100k mark by a mile in 5 to 10 years time from now, so I believe that the The potential of Bitcoin is really really high, so waiting for Bitcoin to get to 100k for me to start taking profit it's like a massive loss too me, when I know that it might skyrocket up to 500k plus in 15-20 years from now, so the essence of all this is that, if truly you are a long term investor, you wouldn't even be bothered or too excited if Bitcoin get up to 100k this year, because that's way below the actual potential of Bitcoin on the longer run. Lastly, I believe that we are still in the early days of Bitcoin, so investing now regardless of the price will still end in a win win situation, as long as you are a long term holder. |

You are not actually far from the truth guy, their are so many ways of saving your money so that inflation wouldn't eat it up, because inflation is a principal enemy that reduced the value of any money being saved up, so the best way to store your valuables , to offset inflation is to save it in anything that appreciate in value overtime, something like gold, Bitcoin, land, real estate and diamond. And I also want to correct the impression you made by your post here, when talking of storing your money in cryptocurrency, it can be a good idea, but it can also be a bad idea, so it would be best that you are specific, because if you are talking of holding your money in Bitcoin then it's very good, but if you are holding your money in other cryptocurrency, then I think it's wrong, because aside Bitcoin, all other alt and shit coin are just nonsense and measures put in place by most developer to milk investors of their hard earned money, so be specific and don't generalize it. |

I encountered an issue yesterday with a particular exchange that sends a verification code to my mobile number before withdrawal. I wanted to withdraw some funds from Kucoin, and due to my security settings, I had to first enter my trading password and then, hit the "send verification code" button, which is supposed to send a code to my mobile number. However, after hitting the button the first time, I didn't receive any code until the counter ran out. I repeated the same process about three times until I received a notification that I had exhausted the number of attempts and needed to try again in two hours. Frustrated, I left it and went to bed.
This morning, I encountered the same issue. I had to go to my profile and unbind the mobile number from the app. Now, I have to wait 24 hours to attempt the transaction again.
Has anyone else encountered this issue? What did you do?

It looks like Manchester City’s dominance of the Premier league will be coming to an end soon because according to Sky Sports, Pep Guardiola may be leaving Manchester City next summer. I wasn’t expecting Pep to leave the club anytime soon, Manchester City are not ready to be without Pep. City has always had good players but the missing piece was a manager who could harness the talent of the players and introduce strategies that would win games. Pep filled that gap for Manchester City and if he leaves, it will take time for the club to recover from that loss. Hopefully they do not suffer as much as Manchester United did when Sir Alex Ferguson left the club. I really don't think Manchester city will struggle if pep guardiola leave, because they were actually doing fine before he came into Manchester city, so what makes you think they can't do without him? It's very true that their dominance of the English premier league is going to reduced to a reasonable extend, but they wouldn't struggle, talkless of struggling like the way Manchester united have struggled since sir Alex Ferguson left the club.  It's confirmed by romano if two clubs are pushing to get olise from palace. Im not even doubting it since manchester united lack of good player in the squad.
