I believe what you are looking for is this:
X-Originating-IP: [74.64.120.98]
Which seems to be a residential IP in Manhattan.

I'd recommend them as well. Been trading there for over a year, done probably 100 dwolla transfers, and never had any problems.

Not going exactly to plan, but hope is not lost. Will still provide solutions next week regardless of outcome.

heres mine: IHB67JB67D67OKG7E54DI8TURD965CGV8BITCOIN9YUH how can you do this? I want to make a prediction and have it time sesitive or whatever this is.....its like james bond shit Easy, if you're a techy type: 1. Write down your prediction in a text file. 2. Calculate a hash of the text file (on unix, you can use the 'md5sum' utility). 3. Post the hash. 4. Post the text file later. 5. People can verify that the hash matches the text file by hashing it themselves. If the text file was altered after the hash was posted, the posted hash wouldn't match anymore.

I get the feeling there are a few big investors playing games with the market right now, but that's just my feeling based on the activity I'm seeing.
Most of the small trades seem to be sideways punctuated by occasional very large buys and sells.

Assuming it doesn't jump higher by tonight, looks like Tirapon might have it

Months later; what is the feeling about Bitfloor now? I tried wiring to Mt.Gox but it bounced back with no explanation. I'm not feeling ready for BTC-otc yet. Coinbase seems limited. BitInstant seems costly. Am I the only one struggling to find a safe and reliable way to exchange USD into BTC?
I use them pretty regularly, along with CampBX.com and MtGox. Other than losing 7 BTC in the hack, haven't had any issues since.

There are no fees for selling on Gox, only buying.
Wha? There are fees both ways.

Oh look it's Edward50 I miss Edward50. With the recent run up and crash, I'm surprised he didn't come back to rant some more about The Manipulator.

Yup, did it just this week. Accidentally sold all my bitcoins

<sarcasm>don't worry, I'm sure they'll post an update in 8 hours or so</sarcasm>

I'm not sure exactly. I hope they are separate.
Also, what about TradeHill?
Or CampBX, they've been around forever.
|
|
|
go to campbx, it APPEARS trades ARE taking place... but I honestly don't have a full picture of what is going on, we have the largest exchange down, 20,000 feeder exchanges down (due to getting some info from Mt.Gox) .. we got guys even in localbitcoins refusing to make trades because they don't know the accurate price.
Yup, CampBX seems to be doing perfectly fine. Been trading there all day. Surprised more people aren't, since they should be able to get their money over there from Gox via Dwolla pretty quickly.

I'll post my moment of idiocy. Last night I was doing a bit of scalping and accidentally sold all my coins for $165. Then the price started rising steadily into the 170s. Panicked a bit as I thought the price might recover, so I bought them all back at $172. If I had just waited until this morning I could have bought them back at half that..
Hindsight is 20/20 n all that.

I've never needed verification to fund Bitfloor.
Bitfloor accepts dwolla?

0.001 bot single handedly lagging the hell out of gox...
Was noticing this too - wondering if it's actually a bot placing real orders, or if gox is just goxin as usual.
|
|
|
Bitstamp seems to be having issues too - at least their order book was crossed for a while there.
|
|
|
Agreed, they should at least stop accepting new orders until the order processing engine catches up
|
|
|
Sweet, wish I had some money there
