141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Announce] new ad supported bitcoin faucet mycryptcoin.com on: May 12, 2012, 08:07:48 PM
holy crap I best get a bunch of coin with the amount of ads there are!

0.001 btc? You've got to be shitting me...

Sorry that the payout is so low right now. The ad model is very tricky, I could end up giving away more bitcoins than the ads bring in. I will adjust the payout once i get a better idea of how much money ads will bring in.

Dont know if you realize but unlike other ad supported faucet you are allowed to get coins once an hour and not once ever 24 hour. You can hit my faucet 24 times for the day.

Cheers...

i requested coins 1 hour ago but still no sign of it on blockchain http://blockchain.info/address/1KNtrRBknXfKp6MQg6K7NjLeveTSadM9Ny

Payouts are grouped and sent out in batches of 25. Still need 7 more to send out the next batch. I guess not as many people want free money as I though.

145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Announce] new ad supported bitcoin faucet mycryptcoin.com on: May 12, 2012, 04:23:56 PM
Thanks for the feedback guys. I changed it! do you think this will still get me banned? or should I just remove the whole thing? http://mycryptcoin.com/s3.aspx

There are quite a few ad supported faucets out there now. have you tried this one? http://mycryptcoin.com/

Your going to get banned from adsense if they bother looking at your site.
You can't incentivize users to click on their ads, and you're doing exactly that.
Just sayin'

You mean with the text on the confirmation screen? or the whole site in general?
147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Announce] new ad supported bitcoin faucet mycryptcoin.com on: May 12, 2012, 04:07:21 PM

To the people who say they are silly trusting me, well I have a history of being trustworthy to this point. Can anyone come forward that I have wronged? What about the owners of the 33000 coins given out in bounties so far? I have given out over 120 bounties and other SC supporters another 50 or so. It's all on the bounties page, and totals nearly 3% of all coins generated. This is the same amount as the proposed CPF.

I think it's the paranoid people who have issues with trust that are the real concern, I understand that in bitcoin realm a lot of shady people hang out but it's beyond a joke some of the baseless accusations and whatnot that go on here. Some people really need to grow up.

Whatever Mr. Douche. I never got my bounty... requested it multiple times. But I dumped the thousands of Solidcoins I had anyway, so who cares now.... SolidCoin was such a promising coin. but you have no idea how to listen with your ears, instead you listen and respond with your a$$. every time you say something I am tempted to hand you toilet paper to wipe.... jeez. you may be a talented programmer, but you are a social zero...
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Don't Black People Use Bitcoins? on: September 13, 2011, 05:30:37 PM
I didnt realize race disclosure was necessary to use bitcoins. Last time I checked I was black.... not mixed, straight black Jamaican American....

I am smart... I am a nerd... got an MS in Computer Science, started working on a PhD in it and quit after I realized its a waste of time and money....

work as a software engineer, started a few companies, lived in more than one country, drives an Infiniti, owns over 50 acres of land...

got money to waste buying stupid shit like bitcoins....

and I am 32....
154  Economy / Goods / [Selling] Complete Bitcoin/Solidcoin hybrid lottery 100 BTC on: September 08, 2011, 06:26:51 PM
Hey guys I built a solidcoin/bitcoin lottery system. it is 100% complete and only needs to be deployed. I was going to launch it on Amazon EC2 as the first solidcoin/bitcoin lotto but I have another project that came up and now I don't have time anymore. I am looking to offload the project for 100 BTC or 15,000 SC. I went as far as to register the domain name http://www.cryptlotto.com. I have some screen shots from the VM I used to develop, you can see them here http://www.cryptlotto.com/screens .

Some features of the system are;
1. Complete bitcoin lottery
2. Complete solidcoin lottery (yes the system supports both at the same time, you just need to have both bitcoind and solidcoind running)
3. Supports any future coins with minimal changes (About 1 hour worth of modifications)
4. Referral system. users are pain 5% of winnings for anybody they refer.
5. fraud detection system.
6. automated payments.
7. user management.
8. built in support system.
9. historic and archival records...
10. tons more look at the screenshots. http://www.cryptlotto.com/screens

If you are interested PM me and let me know. I think this is a great deal and huge potential to make some good SC and BTC. I will help you setup if you need me to.

155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANNOUNCE] New Solidcoin Client Fully Open-Source! on: September 06, 2011, 09:35:47 PM
I'm not sure why you are defending CH/RS so much on these forums. It just seems like you are his minion or something OR that you get some benefit for doing it.

Did ArtForz hurt a lot of people's coins? Yes. But those were speculators speculating on a risky currency. They knew what they got into or should have known. The fact that it's risky is because the new currency is untested. With the code CH/RS put into it, you can't be sure it's not full of bugs. And they obviously had no idea that CH/RS will self destruct like that. So live and learn.

I actually believe that what ArtForz did was best for SolidCoin. It showed what kind of person CH/RS really is. It made a lot of people wise up and sell their SolidCoins before it was too late. If ArtForz did not expose SolidCoin's vulnerability *and* CH/RS's real self, SolidCoin's would have lasted a bit longer. More people would have bought in and be invested in this coin. All this (vulnerabilities and CH/RS's incompetence in fixing issues and his behavior) will inevitably come out at a later point. And when that happens, more people would have been hurt.

I am defending Solidcoin as a viable alternative.  Public statements made by Coinhunter should not have been made, I don't denounce that, to me it's a non-issue because he IS doing good work outside of that and that is all I care about.  MORE-SO are the dumb asses out here who vilified him even before they had reason to (Smoothie-in-his-ass, wolftaurd, King Douchebag, the whole lot of them)... this is the part that makes me sick you guys are letting those guys run the show out here when you should be just as often letting them know that they are fucked up one side and down the other as well.

And here's the kicker and the ultimate point I am trying to make, I don't care if Artforz "revealed his real self", what Artforz did was f'ing dispicable ... he should be banned from these forums at a very minimum and Gavin as the de-facto head around here should denounce his actions.  Above all else I'll shut up completely as soon as I see as many posts out here complaining about Coinhunter also complaining about Artforz and calling the scum sucker to be banned from these forums and as much public association with Bitcoin as possible.  He hurt innocent bystanders directly, it wasn't just a bug gone wrong it would have been criminal if cryptocurrency was in fact legally recognized currency, for that at least and unfortunately we probably can't bring him up on charges.  And to note... I didn't loose anything because of the scum sucker, but he did something far worse than Coinhunter ever did.

Dude blame CoinHunter for what ArtForz did to solidcoins. ArtForz went to him and told him there is a problem, and that he needs to fix it. and he basically told ArtForz to fck himself.

Coinhunter could have avoided the whole thing with a simple statement "Thanks for pointing this out, I will fix it as soon as possible, please keep this confidential until after the fix is made". but noooooooo he wanted to be his douchy self.... "I know what I am doing biaaatch"
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANNOUNCE] SolidCoin - new and improved block chain. Secure from pools on: September 06, 2011, 09:07:54 PM

SC -could- have grown into a great complimentary currency. There were (and are) a set of people who think faster transactions and faster difficulty adjustments are the right direction. If done properly both chains could have learned gained a lot of 'in the wild' type experience to make both better.  Even though a *lot* of the surrounding of SC was hype, hype/namebrand is valuable.  The tide could have easily gone "SC for is for small transactions (fast food), BTC is for larger (real estate)".  But at this point I doubt it'll ever regain face.

If this guy had just kept his mouth shut and work with the community, I think he could have actually overtaken bitcoins. I loved SolidCoins when it first came out. I was mining it hours after it was launched. I had thousands of them....

158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mooncoin - Solidcoin/Namecoin to BTC Exchange on: September 06, 2011, 08:55:07 PM
for anyone who does not know mooncoin skims coins when you do withdrawals... you can only withdraw 2 digits after the decimal place. so if you balance is 3.236578... you can only withdraw 3.23, the 0.006578 stays in your account with them... once you close your account.... its theirs... I call that thievery.

how about depositing 1.763422 first and then withdraw 5.0? thats what i did when i wanted to withdraw completely BTC or NMC from bitparking and britcoin and my remaining funds there were below withdrawal limit

I call that user stupidity not moonco.in's thievery

That works for Bitcoins if you dont pay a transaction fee, but that makes no sense if you are trying to withdraw solidcoins. you would be paying a 0.01 transaction fee to deposit the 1.763422 so you can get 0.006578... its thievery dude.

I am out of this shit. I Just sold all my shitcoins... RealSolid you are such a fucking idiot, that you don't realize how much of a fucking idiot you are. and you dont know how to say "I was wrong". If you were in front of me I would punch you in the fucking face three times. I am so fucking pissed at you.... you fucking retard. you better hope you are never in my town because I would slap you over the head with a plank. you don't listen to anybody and think you know every thing. your arguments are fucking retarded. currencies are all about confidence not security or how nice the algorithm is behind it.

SolidCoin had so much potential but you have personally destroyed it you fucking faggot.

Interesting post on the solidcointalk.org site. Wonder what pissed this guy off.

Sorry that was me... I was getting so sick of the turd's arrogance. I was trying to explain to him how to save the currency by toning down on the anti-bitcoin foolishness and reverting the license decision. I was telling him to squash his pride, shut his mouth and get somebody else to do PR.  I was telling him this when it was still trading at 0.010 BTC. He just blew me off and made me loose 100BTC.

I could have made 120BTC with 5BTC. instead I only made 20BTC

LOL
