Bump.

Just to make sure, you do realize that with .7 BTC being spent on a 50Ghash miner after this past difficulty increase, the buyer will likely still never recuperate their investment, correct? If you're expecting them to pay more than what they'll make with it, you'll never have it sell. That's the problem.
143  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: Advanced Mining technology (AMT) on: December 21, 2013, 10:29:15 AM
As soon as AMT started posting the shill clenell stopped. Do yourself a favor AMT and fire clenell because he is doing you more damage than good. And to respond to people complaining that they haven't got their miner yet by giving a free miner to someone else seems just wrong, but the "american" marketing never cease to amaze me.

It's not American marketing at work. It's idiot marketing at work. People who have been waiting past their expected delivery dates get shafted yet again while AMT sends a free miner that wasn't even ordered to someone. There's another one week delay, since that seems to be the rate they're producing at.

I was prepared to dump the rest of my BTC into AMT miners, but apparently they can't even respond to me about my order which was placed five weeks ago. This is extremely frustrating. If you guys don't want my money, I'll find someone else who does.

.7 for the 50. Take it or leave it. Offer's open for twelve hours, otherwise .8 is going to a 60GHash BFL Single I was offered instead.

Remember me? (Post #60)

The above info is what tipped me over the edge to go ahead and file. Very glad I did. Some might say I should have put this out there a long time ago, but believe it or not, I thought these guys might actually ship something someday, so I kept to myself... sadly after watching 30 forum pages of WTF??? This is not the case.

But I think it might explain Clenell

You were refunded because Paypal held your funds and we couldn't use them to build your miner. Thats why we refunded you. People have since then received their miners and have posted here.

Also the connection doesnt make sense, because if we were "Buying testimonials".. why  would buy only one.. Clenell is just a crazy crazy customer that wanted to buy from us.. and he thinks posting positive things will get his shipment out faster, which is might but he kinda did it on over kill which almost made things worse it seems.

But no.. AMT has no connection between that or any other domains..

Since you appear to be responding here at the moment, I would just like to know one thing. For those of us who ordered miners which were supposed to be shipped within 3 to 4 weeks of ordering, who still haven't received word of said order's status, and who can not contact you by telephone or get a response by email for whatever odd reason, is there any other way we can contact you? Here seems to be the only method, but as you said yourself you don't care much to read here.

Just saying... need to be able to get in touch with you somehow.

AMT,
I really think your trust issues all arise from the whois typo-
just correct the 'Alabama' to 'Prensilvania' and trust will be restored.
thx

No, that's not what their trust issues stem from. At this point it's a little bit of everything. Falsified and/or misleading info, improper etiquette in general, lack of contact or willingness to contact paying customers and a whole bunch of other things.

With all the money AMT racked up in sales, they could easily afford to hire more staff to do nothing but field questions and answer phone calls. It isn't that difficult. I used to run a small web hosting company for almost a decade and even I could afford to hire some dedicated support for my customers. This is just ridiculous.

Man, I just want a fucking email or phone call in regards to my order which is two weeks late shipping. Surely that's not too much to ask.
148  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS Avalon Mini 60gh on: December 20, 2013, 07:34:07 PM
Off course, but i dont need them anyomre.
It makes now 0.035 - 0.045 BTC / day.
Did they make a profit last month?

And what magical pool are you running your miner on?
149  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 21 Block Erupter Mining Rig 7GH/s on: December 20, 2013, 07:31:13 PM
I'd be surprised if anyone actually bids

I don't know. There are some stupid people paying above cost for 60GH/s miners on ebay.
150  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword - Limited Edition Gold Remote Bundle on: December 20, 2013, 07:18:14 PM
I'll have to respectfully decline said offer. I sold my previous copy for $180 on eBay, and I'm sure I'll be able to get as much again. I'll take $160, but $100 is highway robbery for the bundle with the gold controller.
151  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 21 Block Erupter Mining Rig 7GH/s on: December 20, 2013, 08:35:31 AM
Pardon me for asking, but... $120/GHash?  Are you nuts?  And I thought the rates CEX.io was charging was insane.
152  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] BitBurner Fury 50GHs y KnC Jupiter 400-560GHs on: December 20, 2013, 08:31:18 AM
Still way too high. You're pricing them where nobody will get an ROI, so nobody will buy them.
153  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword - Limited Edition Gold Remote Bundle on: December 20, 2013, 06:29:04 AM
Final bump.
154  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] All working mining hardware. on: December 20, 2013, 06:26:01 AM
Short and to the point. Looking to buy some more miners.

Let me know what you have to offer, estimated power consumption and actual hashrate, as well as how much you would like for them. Include shipping costs to the Atlanta, GA (USA) area in your offers. Will be more than happy to do escrow at the seller's request. If escrow is not set up, I'll either do a face-to-face trade, if applicable, or pay upon receiving the hardware in working condition.

Keep in mind, I will not play the "this is what it goes for on eBay" game with you. You may be able to rob stupid people of their money, but I'm not one of them. If you want close to your cost for these devices, best stay on eBay. What I WILL do however, is pay realistic prices for hardware based on their earning potential.

Serious sellers only, please.

156  Economy / Goods / Re: How much BTC might this fully backwards PS3 be worth ? on: December 20, 2013, 05:31:03 AM
What? No. GameStop and most other retailers that offer console trade-ins usually only take 20% of the value of a USED system. Meaning, whatever you can buy a used one for, they'll pay you 20% of that amount.

here i was thinking this was a reputable blog.

Hahaha, if you thought this was a blog you're in need of more help than I originally thought. :p

Why isn't Erlang an option? I am mad disappointed.

What are the advantages of it ? I m a geek not god I dont know about all the languages in programing world Tongue
Someone mentioned Golang here and I checked it out, really nice Smiley

Erlang is awesome. The number one advantage is that the entire language is modular, and, at any time, you can replace code within the VM without interrupting the functionality of the script. It's designed to be run constantly, and changes are made to be extremely simple.

To be fair, it is EXTREMELY hard to learn at first. It's not exactly friendly to anyone who isn't skilled at programming in general.
