According to coinmarketcap the coin has had a maximal coin amount of around 60 mln some days ago. Today it is around 72 mln. What is the truth?
60 million was the pre-sale with 0.2 ETH donated to the dev team for every 1 ETH sold. 60million + 12 million = 72 million total eth Its mineable now so add 29K coins each day from Frontier launch. Breakdown of the 12M ETH being distributed now. (This is still part of the original 72 million ETH from genesis) 6M to 86 early contributors 3M to ~40 devs (they had to purchase the ETH) 3M to the Foundation. |

I assume you have a purchased account looking at the post history. Your posts all the sudden went up an amazing amount after a long time of no posts. I am sure you bought the account to contribute and not get paid per post right?
That certain belief that you have on my account is a fallacy. VirosaGITS has always been mine and always will be. Reputation is everything. The reason my post rate went up so much is because my life situation changed recently. Which lead to me getting into Sha256d for the first time. Posting over 100 per week is not for selfless purpose of contribution, just personal interest and desire for information. I'm no hero here, i would definitively post less and make less effort to contribute information if i was either not paid or had no personal interest in the topic. You're obviously a busy man. |

Darkcoin 2014 Vanillacoin 2015 Close enough ?  The patterns over time are quite comparable. Along with the tech angle and loyalty. At the time Darkcoin was offering interesting technology and it developed a strong loyal community. So whatever manipulations happened, buyers kept stepping in and getting more and driving it higher. There are differences though, Evan not being anonymous, and Vanillacoin perhaps having better technology. Not perhaps, imo. Masternodes are a gimmick. Nobody has ever thought Masternodes were a great idea. Greed drives opinion however. |

I guess ASICs are good for coins.... It means there is enough interest in them to generate hardware specifically to mine them. What other coins have ASIC hardware specifically made for that coin and that coin only?
