Hi! Due to recent forking issues we will keep coin on exchange. Updated wallet is online, wrong fork withdrawals refunded. Trading is open. LDOGE will not be delisted without official announcement of our standard delisting procedure wich initiated if average daily trading volume become less than 0.2 BTC.

https://c-cex.com/?p=ldoge-btc
https://c-cex.com/?p=ldoge-usd

Thnx, I got my coins back.

@SockPuppet I got a lot of bounties to take care of. Would you do the honor to take this one, or maybe Mr. Crunck, since he can play the exchanges. Give me update every monday.

After the community decide we start giving. But I really think we should do it after we reacht 8 satoshi. 4 satoshi is ridiculous. We are young true. but we got going on. Giving and bulding (see the site, irc and the bounties)...

I have no problem trying to manage the charity bounty fund.  I am a terrible trader though, just being honest and true to myself.  More of an investor.  Buy coins when they are dirt cheap, hold or stake til I make 20x + or watch it die.  Not much of a play to make on exchanges right now besides setting the charity coins at 4 satoshis and hoping they sell.

If crunck was going to maintain a bitcointalk thread in to try selling the fund on here without them touching the exchange, that might be the best way to go.

Like I was saying, we will have to work out alot of details for how this would work in the long run.

Im happy to maintain an inhouse exchange on here, to convert the ldoge to BTC and keep it from causing to much chaos on the exchanges.

It would really benefit everybody.
"Staking for the Doges" like Sockpuppet said.

The Doges need help, let's try to help them.

That's true. Best if the donation address would be BTC or LDOGE (TRADE).

If we release a press statement, if should be a impressive one. At lest 200 USD, still not a lot, but any charity would be happy, and remember, we will be the first crypto coin ever who had this idea after just 4 months.. and also execute it.

The end of july is too fast, many promotions need to start, also it should be about litedoge (not BTC). Remember LiteDoge never had a pump like 99.9% of the altcoins LiteDoge was, is and will be a community coin, we should start it and look where we stand end of august.

I am quite new into crypto, but also not. This is the first coin I really got motivated, because the community is so good. First we got Heinz, then PeterVenter and Bitrev, now we got so many old and new people (litedoge, crunck). They, we are not real investors whom invest and take profit, but like the rest peole really care.about the community. There is no community like this and therefore I invested time and money.

In bad times we lost people, yet even more came and stepped up. That's is how a community is. Let's prolong that with a charity.

So yes, if you could run a charity together with crunck or any one else. I would donate for sure.

Regarding C-Cex - I contacted them the day of the hard fork and asked them to update their wallet, even after they delist so that our community members could recover their coins.  They have yet to respond.  If/When they get back to me I will let everyone know.

@the community, please bring input on the roadmap, we need one Wink

-ctgiant

To hell with C-cex.  Legit coins get no volume there.  Only the scam coin of the month gets volume at C-cex.  Once a legit coin graduates from that dump, never look back.  LDOGE does not need C-cex.

Better to focus on cryptsy.  LTC and XRP markets would be great for it too.  LDOGE has never been a monster in volume on trex, but it's been steady and consistent in getting a small handful of BTC in volume every day.  If marketcap rises and volume remains consistent, I don't see why cryptsy wouldn't add.

Yeah, contacted them too 2 days ago, since i got lost coins, but they just ignore to answer tickets (1 ticket is 2 weeks old). A really bad exchange. Cryptsy is what we need, in the land of western altcoins exchanges they govern, but bluetrade would also a nice one.

It just so happens that I am on the committee of my local social club, and organise entertainment and events etc

One event I have coming up is for a charity called " Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary" this is charity run and reliant on donations.

We are holding the evening on the 17th of this mth, we have time to get some LDOGE material created along side a check made up for LDOGE you know one of those big things with the logos on etc

The social club FB page is here : https://www.facebook.com/groups/163223493842152/

Event posters are here : https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10206410057117736&set=gm.478709415626890&type=1&theater

Would be great if I could present them with a little something on the night.

Something like this but 3 foot wide :

Your thoughts

This is very nice!

I now have a handful of viable candidates in mind for an "official" LDOGE charity (and your charity sounds like it donates to animals that are not dogs, which sucks because dogs are the best animals!) but working out the details to declare an official LDOGE charity will take time, and sending and replying to many emails.  We can keep the "Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary" in the running for that honor, but if we want to get this off the ground ASAP we can start with them.  Just because we donate to them once, doesn't mean we have to from here on out.  Maybe it's not a bad idea to donate to a steady stream of different charities or a rotation of different charities.

Anyway, even if it is only a few hundred dollars and just a one time thing, this seems like a great idea.  Time is of the essence to get it all worked out before the 17th though, check into the cost of making up one of those big checks with local businesses and report back.  We can take our sweet time figuring out how a long term charity fund will operate after that.

Hmm, just got a message from puppiedog..
The Dogecoin subreddit went dark:
https://www.reddit.com/r/dogecoin

Revolting against Chairman Pao.  Reddit is as good as dead if they don't boot her insane scamming SJW ass.

I think that's exactly right, I would be opposed to having one named charity that we all ways give too, I think it should be spread around, different countries different charities etc
After all we don't all live in the same place, and I'm sure others know someone that works for a charity or shelter etc  Smiley

@both
I like that. Let's start the campaign. Let the community decide a top 3-5.

prob in a couple of days i will look into time again. Today my son was born (was playing for some time now already of course) so spending some time home first before i go back to drawing board Smiley

Also i soaked 1 mil ldoge in irc today to celebrate just in case ppl missed it

Congrats man! Hope he is healthy and well.

@devs
Which featurs can we expect in the next release
1. Blocktime to 90 sec
2. Built-in explorer
Some of the features sockpuppetaccount proposed would be perfect
3. Multisend
4. Another idea for a bounty would be to implement the multisend feature from HYP and HBN into litedoge.  It allows you to automatically send a specified portion of your stake reward every time you mine a block to whatever address you specify.

Can you do this Devs?
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LiteDoge - such Community coin | no premine | very fast | much profit on: July 01, 2015, 08:44:58 PM
@SockPuppetAccount
Let's hope the block time can be changed in 1/2 weeks.

Heathkids comment that we will lower it to over 2M per day, is good news.

The charities is also a very good idea. I saw crunck mentioned one. Let's get the perfect charity going on for LiteDoge, and help some Doges!

BTW this made me laugh!

Some of the charities give money to help cats and other animals that are not total bros like dogs are so they are out as well.  Lots of information to sort through.

Is there something wrong with the wallet, I am not receiving any stakes since 2 hours?

Also 0 connections?

Edit: working again.

I am loving where this is going.

Just an idea, let's start a signature campaign. If you make an address, I will kick in 2 million

This market is in danger of de-listing due to low trade volume and lack of user interest. It may be removed on July 3rd unless the average daily trade volume for the last 7 days exceeds 0.2 BTC.

Yes help us getting volume. We need just .5 BTC till tomorrow.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LiteDoge - such Community coin | no premine | very fast | much profit on: July 01, 2015, 02:32:18 PM

I would have thought there is enough of us around to do some off exchange trading with the charity fund to save it even hitting the exchanges.

Sounds good. Let's get it to 10M and hand over the funds. Would you do that crunck?

I just donated 5M to get it started

Would I do what ?
Run a LDOGE exchange thread to chop up the charity coins into BTC then yes I can do that.

Well in that case.. I think I am getting some feelings for you;).. In a hetero way, don't get your hopes up..LOL

Now no one likes the idea of a monthly guaranteed dump on the litedoge market from the charity fund.  But, I wouldn't expect it amount to anything substantial enough to do any major damage.  I think the community outreach and positive PR generated from a program like this will more than offset any damage done by the monthly charity dump, by a large margin.  And we get to help some doges too Smiley

"Stake LiteDoge to save the doges!"

It could be a great marketing campaign.

To slowly begin reducing stake reward.

Very sharp. I made a BTC address too.

I hope the Dev's can change the block time asap. On paper we made a 'fix' for the ultra high POS, but now nothing has changed. The lower stake rate won't kick in for ages. The block time should have sold this.

@litedoge can you boost it on fb/twitter
@the rest please sent the url to any developers you know:
http://www.litedogecoin.org/bounties.php

We got 1.5 BTC in bounties.

Wow got some more donations and updated the list:
http://www.litedogecoin.org/bounties.php

This was exactly what I wanted, people sending LDOGE for their favourite feature. Finally more and more peole

@SockPuppetAccount, you got so many good ideas + you are very generous. Thnx, this is what we need!
Multisend, Charity Fund added, What's the of sending staking to a cause?

@Heaven can you compile a list of good causes and add it as a poll here?
It would be very good PR if we as a community donate to features but also good causes. In fact we can even make a press statement and sent it to media outlets.

Hey, I was looking over the list of bounties that need to be funded, and I noticed Multisignature/ Masternodes / Private Messages.  Multisignature and private messages are solid features any quality coin should have, even if they may not be used too often.  I'm curious what the current consensus is on masternodes though.  I was never a fan of the original plan to add masternodes.  I know some felt the same way, some did not.  I understand they add darksend and instantx which is a positive, but adding that layer of complexity seems to go against the whole spirit of what made the original DOGE great.  It was simple, fun, easy and perfect for newbies to crypto.  I think it is to the benefit of LDOGE to stay with that same spirit.  LDOGE is like DOGE, but you get more LDOGE when you keep your wallet open!  As DOGE appealed to an audience that never held any BTC before, LDOGE can appeal to those who have never held a POS coin before.  Of course there is nothing forcing anyone to go through the process of setting up a masternode, but every conversation with a potential LDOGE buyer will inevitably get injected with "but you'll get even more LDOGE if you set up a masternode".  Then things start getting complicated and casuals and newbies to the crypto world lose interest.

LDOGE doesn't need darksend.  It's not exactly the type of coin that is trying to appeal to the anonymity/privacy/dark market niche.  As far as a DOGE focused on that niche goes, we already have DOGED.  As far as I know, all they are using is stealth addresses and TOR routing.  LDOGE should simply go down that route if people want some privacy/anonymity features added.  I am sure that is more than sufficient for 99% of users who even care about having it in the first place.

InstantX also seems unnecessary.  LDOGE already has 64 second block times and for all intents and purposes, you can be confident accepting LDOGE after a handful of confirms.

On top of all that, they add another headache for the LDOGE developers.  If DRK/DSH finds another vulnerability in their implementation of masternodes, LDOGE devs need to do another fork.  Also, virtually every thread on a POS coin with masternodes turns into a technical support/troubleshooting thread.

We all know masternodes started getting rammed into every POS coin because they were being shilled as a way to tie up more coins, hoping to duplicate the success DRK/DSH had.  Going by the price of virtually every one of these coins, they have failed miserably in that goal.

I suggest changing that list from 'Multisignature/Masternodes /Private Messages' to 'Multisignature/Private Messages/Stealth Addresses/TOR routing' and add on another 2 million LDOGE bounty.  Hell, I'll even donate the 8 million LDOGE to fund all those bounties.

Ok, end rant.  Curious what everyone else thinks.

You are fast. I updated the bounties today.
With some more staking I received there is a total of 0.84 BTC for webdevelopers who want to earn some money:
http://www.litedogecoin.org/directory.php

The bounties are things I feel which will make litedoge stronger. For the most important features, I donated many litedoges, for features with less priority, the community is free to donate if they believe it is beneficial.

Since it is a community coin, the community can decide.

P.S. I also updated the about and merchant page. I look forward for some feedback.
