141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why kyc is even required? on: February 24, 2018, 12:02:40 PM
Why would you even play in casino's like that? It's just a huge pain to deal with and will cause you so much delay on withdrawing your winnings.
You really do have a lot of choice between other casinos that don't have such requirements.

Crypto-Games for example just lets you withdraw instantly, even if you win big.
I like crypto games no doubt about that I used to be an investor on that site they used to take some fees for cancelling early which I never liked but everything else was perfect about the site
That's why this thread is created why wait for 3 months just to get our deserved winnings
Yeah, there are still a whole lot of them that would not even require you to go through any KYC, and for now, it looks like it is only fortune jack that I know anyway, and they must definitely have their reasons for it and I am sure as long as anyone using the site is ok with the terms and conditions, there should be no problem, otherwise they can easily just move straight to making use of the likes of crypto games that requires no KYC.
142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What stage of adoption is Crypto currently at? on: February 24, 2018, 11:31:48 AM
Just wanted to know where you guys think we are. Are we still in the early adoption stage?
In my opinion i think bitcoin is now at an early adoption stage for institutional investors as individuals we have already adopted this technology is waiting for prices to soar and possibly make some money from it.
Though it has not been a very long time this world has get to know about crypto currencies but the good thing is that in this much short period of time, crypto currencies have actually made a very good name in the international market and is achieving the success at higher rate with every passing day. The way people have started believing in crypto currencies give us a hope that it has successfully cleared the era of early stage of adoption.
If you understand that the numbers of people who know cryptocurrency or have adopted it right now are still very few then you will know we are still in the early phase. Sure, it is not as early as 2010 and most definitely as the subsequent years, but If you think because of these little rally we have had, we are past the adoption phase, and then I wonder what you will be saying in the next few decades. We are just starting with the adoption phase and we are not even close to the middle of it yet.
143  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin now below 8000 time to buy now on: February 24, 2018, 11:02:49 AM
now that the price of bitcoin has increased, it's also a big deal for me and I did not buy the cheap price and hopefully I hold it one year and I'll look at what bitcoin will do next year.

Do not worry. A lot of people are like you, Busy waiting for a lower price and not ending up buying all the huge lowers at least in margin and leaving a small section for a breakout so as to play safe. $6000 to me was a very good bargain and an extremely cheap value for the year and of anyone cannot notice that, then I am not sure what else they really want to notice. I won't be surprised the number of people who are going to start opening new topics, giving us stories on how the missed the bottom which was available to almost everyone to buy in for hours.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin to go down big dip on: February 23, 2018, 07:13:19 AM
Speculations. Most of the cryptomarket is going up today. Why do people think it just MUST go down before/after the holidays? Maybe a lot of people are actually gifting bitcoin/litecoin/some other currency during the holidays?
I do not know why some people are even attaching the whole holiday to cryptocurrency when they hold a few percentages of the cryptocurrencies when compared globally. Moreover, what has the holiday even gotten to do with anything? Market is looking good, we are not sure if the wide correction of the market is over, but at least, it looks like there is still a little bit of hope right now, so let's see how it turns out.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will ICOs die? on: February 23, 2018, 06:41:50 AM
ico will never die, but its numbers will continue to decrease. investors will be more careful in choosing ico where they will invest. that's good, because there will only be the best ico who dares to offer his project.
Sure, and that is what is even going to make it even more interesting in the long run. That would even give some investors the essence of researching more on a project before they do, regulations will start being in place and that would pave way for just anyhow project that ends up useless popping up in the ICO space as no one will pay attention to such projects anyway. So, at the end, we may just see some reduction.
146  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will someday be worth as much as 40 times its current on: February 23, 2018, 05:57:19 AM
I hope up fast...
Nah! Up fast usually result to down fast, let's have a good moment with the value presently so as to stash up more and also better we have a consistent growth and not just the usual FOMO market where everyone just wants to get greedy. I am sure if we are able to solve the scaling issue at hand completely and we are also able to hit the mainstream adoption level, we are not even going to be here saying x40.
147  Economy / Speculation / Re: Panic sellers are once again hating themselves on: February 22, 2018, 07:28:44 AM
Not themselves. Some of them hate “the market”. A friend of mine is like that: he used to buy when there was a bubble out of MOFO and to sell when the first dip came, out of panic. Now he doesn’t buy any more, he just wastes all his money, as he thinks “the market” is corrupt.

Classic Buy High, Sell Low strategy, great way to make others richer!
Oh yeah! And they are so dumb enough they do not even know that. It is crazy though, because people like this are just naturally greedy and looking for the fastest route out, which is why they get burned mostly. Why will anyone ever buy into FOMO and declare the market corrupt at dip when that should even be the best time buying. Ignorance though is the greatest of all diseases, so I usually do not blame them. Probably, he should even say the stock market and Forex market is corrupt since they experience downtrends too.
148  Economy / Economics / Re: Know Your Customer on: February 22, 2018, 05:57:43 AM
Knowing your customer builds a good relationship between the buyer and seller. With this, you can easily identify which one will be your top priority however it would also mean that you should check every detail about the person, this could also be used as a backed up data so when you need to trace the person, you know where to start. Millions are being earned from this business, and it is not easy to identify who earns it. but thru KYC they can have a way to identify them.
Yep, I definitely agree with you that when you know your customer, you can build a good relationship. Even it is really much more safer for you if you know your customer ,I find it convenient for me to know my customer. Around us, there are many people who are scammers, has black money and to speak frankly I am sure that nobody can know or identify whether they are cheated and even lost lots of asset. In anyway,it’s really necessary for us to know our customer.
Asides the good relationship, which we already know that is not the main essence of the KYC, the actual sense of it is just to fish out any misdealing that could look more like illegal which we all know it is normal anyway for anything that has to do with monetary policies in most countries, and since this is in play, I am sure most exchanges in these countries usually do not have a choice than to collect the data of each individual, irrespective of how they end up using it.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: should i invest in ETH or Ripple? on: January 10, 2018, 11:09:38 AM
recently ripple reached 1 usd and is predicted to go upto 5 usd by the end of next month.
while eth has rose 100usd in the past week and is being quite stable.
ethereum though not as accepted as bitcoin but still can be used unlike ripple.
so my question is whether i should invest in eth or ripple given i may need to take out my money back any time.

I choose ethereum have good waving movements in the coinmarketcap potentially to increase closer into bitcoin price.
I seen also the dentacoin are potentially grow up in the market.
Eth is going good but for now if the comparison is between ETH and ripple then I think we must go for ripple. It is potential coin that is leading the market now. Things are much heavy and amazing in the case of ripple. It is continuously increasing from a couple of weeks and there is no strong dip. It is cheap now and people are buying it without any delay. It is incredibly increasing.
150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin gambling is legal? on: January 09, 2018, 12:25:05 PM
It depends on your Country.
If BTC isn't legal, than BTC Gambling isn't too.
If BTC is legal, but Gambling isn't, than BTC Gambling isn't.

Simple as that.
Yes this makes sense here. In different countries of the world, there are some different concepts about bitcoins and gambling. Some European countries, they have legalized everything and people are openly trading and investing in bitcoins plays they are using it legally. They gamble with bitcoins and no one is there to stop them. So yes, it really depends on the country you are living in.
151  Economy / Economics / Re: DON'T DO PANIC SELLING !!! on: January 09, 2018, 11:41:49 AM

This is something that people in the BTC industry should always be reminded of, although you can strike gold with panic selling the outcomes aren't always favorable. Keeping calm provides more stable results.
Most times it is just stupidity to buy in at peaks and then sell for loss. Most people are holding for long and except for traders who are selling now for profit, panic selling is just an absurd thing to ever do. At this stage, it is normal for every investor to even know better but we cannot rule out the new investors who came in with some idea of getting rich overnight not making some mistakes out of panic. Over time, they always get to learn their lessons anyway.
152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to spot a gambler addicted? on: January 08, 2018, 10:45:45 AM
Mostly in people that i knew who are addicted in gambling doesn't that they are addicted already or maybe they are just indenial just to cover up their addiction. But i knew that they are into ot already because they just keep on going to casinos even if they just borrowed or loan their money just to be satisfied.
Gamblers are also like the normal people with same feelings and emotions and it would be very difficult for you to spot him as a gambler addict until or unless you don’t make him a friend or keep his company. It’s not the same as in fiction movies that the hero sees some reality written on the face of the devil.

When you will keep the company of a gambler, one thing which will help you to spot him a gambler would be that he will discuss gambling if there would be nothing to talk about.
153  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: January 04, 2018, 03:13:46 PM
If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose? Keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin has only been around for 5 years, and could be fundamentally different in any number of ways in 10 years.

I prefer the bitcoin instead of gold. Bitcoin is better in terms of investment than in gold, bitcoin values continue to rise and that's an attraction.
What really matters to all of us is the amount of money that we can earn out of our investments and this is the most important thing as money is all that is essential for surviving in today’s world. Gold is not very good at returning back an increase in the capital whereas bitcoin just skyrockets from time to time giving the holders chance to earn huge profits. Keeping this fact in mind, bitcoin is definitely better than gold.
154  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin for all levels of society, without any difference on: January 04, 2018, 02:31:35 PM
Honestly, even with the fact that everyone who has an Internet connection can access the blockchain, there's still a lot of difference. There's this thing called "digital divide" that surely exists. There are places where there's no Internet connection. There are places that are simply a dead spot for any ISP and trust me still such place exists. Some countries have a really really expensive Internet connection and really really slow connection. The bitcoin users in those places, regardless of how much money they have, can never have a full node running on them. They can't even download bitcoin core. So yeah, it's not just about not having and having Internet connection. The speed of the Internet connection is still a factor that we have to consider.

Plus, poor people surely don't have any personal computer or even an Internet connection. So it's not ALL levels of society. It's like middle to high class only until they are able to solve the Internet connection problems of third world countries.
Yeah it is the beauty of bitcoin that anyone can invest in bitcoin and can use it anytime anywhere in the world without any exchange of your local currency into the required one. Just buy anything anywhere in the world and pay from your bitcoin wallet.

There are no limitations for anybody in the world relating any society. Everyone is free to invest and make money or use it for his necessities and dreams.
155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If bitcoin can be used in gambling. Is it possible to use it casino? on: January 03, 2018, 09:16:44 AM
Are people already using bitcoins in casinos? Don't you guys consider online gambling sites casinos as well? Well, a lot of online gambling sites call themselves as "casinos" so I am not sure what the question is anymore. The answer is quite clear, which is yes. Online casinos accept bitcoins. The better question probably is whether conventional casinos will ever accept bitcoins, which probably could happen.

Could you name some?

Some of those really big gambling networks I can think of are Pokerstars, 888poker etc. but they don't seem to be much Bitcoin friendly. In fact, they called Bitcoin a "massive fraud" several times.
Sure it will be used in casino because casino is the place where people get-together for gambling and when bitcoin is usable in gambling then it will also be usable in casino. I think that it is ways for gamblers to use bitcoin rather than cash. There will be no fear of looting and snatching and not losing in the way. You will transfer bitcoin from your wallet to the winner and he will do the same if you win.
156  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Goes Down! Surprising or not on: January 03, 2018, 08:10:40 AM
Very true .  The nature of BTC is like that, its hard to control the rise and fall.
Big companies will think different from individuals. I think that one should not sell his bitcoin because of the fall in the price. We will see in the near future that it will be more than double of today’s price. Some people have doubts about the authentications of bitcoin but I want to tell them that bitcoin will survey forever and will be the mainstream in the future. Other currencies may disappear.
157  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you see the bitcoin economy 10 years from now? on: January 03, 2018, 07:38:06 AM
In 10 years? 90% to be ~$0-100. 10% to rise to ~$150k. Most likely countries like USA will punish people using BTC and it will be pretty much worthless.

USA has the most Bitcoin users in this world so I think that will not happen, and even if bitcoin was banned to this country, they will be finding ways to sell or buy bitcoin to be saved and use in other way that they will not be punished. What I hope in that 10 years is the development of bitcoin that it will not be having any problem like what is the issue today.

Probably 10 years from now, bitcoin would gain a lot of new members. Bitcoin economy is increasing and growing every single day, with this you can really say that it is progressing in reaching out the desired needs of the people. Yes, bitcoin is now powerful and more people might be interested in joining. 10 years from now, Bitcoin will prolly gain power and prosper as to what it is today.
Bitcoin is not the currency for US citizens and it will never happen what you mentioned here. In the next 10 years I guess that no one will be able in this forum to buy one bitcoin because the price is growing more and more with the passage of time and 10 years is a very big time for bitcoin to hold the world’s economy. I am sure that after 10 years everyone will use bitcoin for his daily expenses and for everything he needs in life.
158  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: January 03, 2018, 07:09:48 AM
I think some of billionaire are investing to bitcoin but not all of their wealth. These people have the bright idea on making huge interest to their investment.
There should be no doubt in this fact that bitcoin is the future currency of the world and that’s why people from every class are investing into it for big profits. Not only people from lower class or middle class are showing high interest in it but as you said, big companies and businesses are also taking keen interest in this. I am sure that all rich people are having big shares in bitcoin and they are the real whales.
159  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how improve trading on: January 02, 2018, 11:34:22 AM
practicing will give you learning, no matter how much you read if you dont put strategies on place you will never understand how they work. you need to learn to trade and that is it, you can use simulators which are plenty on the web before launching to it
The best way to practice is to buy and sell with small quantities, for example because today Bitcoin has devalued 25%, and altcoins have lost value by 40%. If you are starting to make money with large quantities, it is very damaging.

You are right the best way to improve trading is to deal in bitcoin and by this way you will gain experience about trading and if you are sincere with your work no doubt that one day you will be a successful trader. Try to get more and more knowledge about good trading and search for the successful traders which will also help you to improve your trading business. Invest small amount in trading and be fare with the people.
160  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I dont like daytrading on: December 28, 2017, 01:50:47 PM
Even though much profit can be made. And i did a bit. But truth is... i dont like it. It gives me a weird unpleasant feeling. Because to me its just swapping air if all u buy and sell for is money. I love crypto and to me it feels like daytrading is raping it. Ur not really standing behind the idea and product anymore. Im not hating on daytraders or anything. Just doesnt seem my thing. I allways had the same in poker, taking lunchmoney and the game is what its about to me. Whenever i played higher stakes it just didnt felt right and even when i won a nice bit it even depressed me.

yes trading that fits and will earn very much profit is long term trading, if only the daily is not very profitable. altcoin trading at cheap prices do as you save or invest.
Trading is not gambling at all, it just demands some sound knowledge about the market and different coins you are dealing with. You simply need to buy your coin, hold it until it reaches a value which is higher than the one you bought it at and then simply sell it off for making some good money. Well as far as bitcoin is concerned, indeed the set option lies in holding it for long time period for handsome profit.
